Forsber dropped it back and the pass across and a nice pass that was by Martin and the shot stopped in front. Here’s a shot right on brought back out from the Predator’s bench area. Swept low into the Tampa zone. Grant Speda goes back. Puck put right in front of the backhander. Goes off the shoulder of the goalender, Brandon Halverson. Good opportunity there for Predators. The shot with some traffic in front of SOS from behind the net centering, but it comes right away to McCarron and McCarron goes up to center ice and dumps it in right on the Tampa Bay goals. And the Lightning managed one shot on goal on that power play. Here comes Nashville back and that shot by Matthew Wood is absorbed in the midsection. They’re trying to figure out their line combinations, and they’ve all got something to prove. And you can see the veteran guys are a little more invested here early. The Tampa Bay Lightning surged late, scoring two goals in the third period to force overtime before sealing a 3-2 shootout win over the Nashville Predators. Brady Martin tallied both goals for Nashville in the loss.
