TRADE: Jarvis Brownlee Jr. and a 7th for a 6th…WHAT THE…

An absolute stunner. The Tennessee Titans have traded starting quarterback Jarvis Brownley Jr. to the New York Jets for a 2026 late round swap. We don’t have the exact details right now as the trade literally was just announced. But a late round swap is probably Jarvis Brownley Jr. and a seventh for a sixth or Jarvis Brownley Jr. and a seventh for a fifth, something like that. But what in the world is going on? On the surface, this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The Titans don’t have a ton of depth at cornerback. Cornerback is a very difficult position to find people at. The Titans just drafted Jarvis Brownley Jr. in 2024 with a fifth round pick. And quite frankly, he had some penalty issues, but he’s a pretty decent player for getting him that late in the draft. This is a very perplexing one. Now, my only theory for why the Titans would make this move is if Jarvis Brownley Jr. was an absolute problem in the locker room. If he was just a terrible guy, Titans didn’t want him involved in their culture whatsoever, then that would make sense. The Titans are just like, “Please get this guy away from us as quick as possible.” Again, Mike Borzi didn’t draft Jarvis Brownley Jr. So, he could be looking at it and being like, “We don’t want this guy around.” That’s the only thing that makes sense. Maybe there’s a medical issue in there, but it’s very unlikely that the Titans would try to slide a medical issue by the Jets when he has to pass a physical for the trade to go through that the Jets could inevitably find. So, the only thing that makes sense here is the Titans didn’t like the guy that Jarvis Brownley Jr. was and wanted him out of their locker room as soon as possible. But on the surface, from what we actually know, this makes zero sense whatsoever.

  1. We are tanking. Putting sweat on ir. Next Weill be ward sitting. Trading away a solid corner ( sometimes too physical) but solid.Sellling solid prospect for way less than we got him for. Idk. Fire Callahan. He’s already trying setup inuries as a reason why we suck. How did vrabel do during injuries! Oh right we were the #1 seed the year we had so many injuries. Worst mistake in a long time letting viable go. But I thin’ he wanted out. Don’t blame him. Us poor titans fans. Going to ruin wards careeer too.

  2. Would not be surprised if we trade Simmons. If we can get a 1st or early 2nd. May be over values but teams get desperate that are 1 player away around trade deadline. A draft is a gamble. You know what you get with Simmons.

  3. Good riddance to bad rubbish. BrownLee Jr was a liability and a complete Head Case. If Simmons doesn't get his act together, he may be next. BrownLee Jr had to Go! He was equivalent to a mental health patient attempting to run the insane asylum. Titan fan for Life. Titan Up!

  4. Have they lost their entire mind ??? Just wait, Simmons will be traded too. He’s too good for the Titans liking. I’m betting they would trad Jeff or Cam for a 5th round and a kicking tee if they could.. Unbelievable

  5. “Please get him out here”. Wrong dude. Suppose to be Cally. So we got rid of Awuzie because he didn’t want to play behind JBJ and now we are getting rid of him because of his attitude. Man get Cally out of here and get someone who can control the locker room.

  6. Terrible trade I know Brownlee had some problems with flags he’s still almost a rookie to you know guys and he was flat out our best corner last year and all we get is a 6th plus gave up a 7 at worst you should’ve gotten back a 5th just bc he was taken there idk man now I’m questionable the gms mike a chad idk anymore watch Brownlee ball tf out

  7. Why they least couldn’t got 2 6s or a 6 and 7 so we could use one of those picks to go out and try to get somebody to replace him we’re not necessarily deep at corner

  8. I’m a little confused on this one Jarvis when on the field the defense played well I get the flags but he still played well now without him ex: colts game defense didn’t play well hmm make it make sense smh
