Pretty brutal. I’m still wondering how he became a team captain.

  1. I mean, this sounds bad, but his rate isn’t bad. He’s just taken a lot of kicks.

League average last year was 84%, for 2023 and 2024 he averaged 83.8.

Im actually concerned it’s a mix of things. The only thing that’s changed this year to last is the holder, but thats an important step in the process. Hayball was a lefty right?

  2. I think for what we should expect this year he’s fine. But if the trend continues downward yeah let’s cut our losses

  3. This is a raw stat which probably could use some contextualizing. Like how many kicks is Grupe taking relative to the average kicker? Make/miss % is more valuable because it takes attempts into the calculation unlike a bare running total of kicks made or missed.

  4. I said that the other day. Grupe who is the special teams captain shouldn’t be missing field goals or the stuoid landing zone

  5. It doesn’t help that a good portion of this fanbase will turn on anyone the second they have a rough game

  6. Worth noting that 4/5 of those kickers have been cut by the team they were on in 2023. May be 5/5 soon if Grupe doesn’t get his head on straight.
