  11. I’m so glad the NBA hasn’t always had ads on the uniforms. Half of these iconic jerseys could never have become legendary had they been completely plastered in advertisements.

  18. If you make or win the finals with a jersey a team should always keep in its rotation; Raptors win the title and never seen it since.

    GSW still rocking its title gear and those jerseys are iconic with winning, and people are not reminded that it was a C+ team for almost 40 years prior.

  35. I’m not a 76ers fan and in 2001 I was barely interested in the NBA as it was in a lull to me, a teenager, who was getting ramped up on the NFL. That 2001 style jersey though was just something that is engrained in my mind as whenever I would see a highlight of A.I it would be…in that jersey. It was so much of a normalcy that when I finally got back into the NBA I was shocked, confused, and a bit angered that the black jersey WASN’T the normal 76ers jersey! It truly altered how I viewed their normal outfits.

    Very happy it’s returning and I hope the 76ers are actually good enough to be on highlights so another young teen like me can fall in love with that shit

  38. Side note, the notion that respect is earned always felt a little weird. Shouldn’t everyone treat each other with at least a minimal amount of respect and kindness, regardless?
