But let’s get to this one between the Cincinnati Reds and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Great pitching match up here as you’ve got the Cincinnati Reds sending out Hunter Green for the start in this one while the Pirates will counter with Paul Skins. And you know, Hunter Green, I have my concerns when he when he rejoined the frey for the Cincinnati Reds if he was going to be able to, you know, sort of keep him, you know, keep himself in check. And you know, you look at his home start since really rejoined the rotation. Even just if you look at his last four starts at home, six innings of three hit shutout ball against the Phillies. Six and a third innings of one-run ball at home against Toronto. Seven innings of one-run ball, 12 strikeouts against the Mets, and a complete game, one hit shutout against the Cincinnati C, excuse me, against the Chicago Cubs. So, he is just pitching out of his mind at home right now. And quite frankly, with the way that the Pittsburgh Pirates have hit this season, that’s not something that I really want to get in front of because, you know, even though you got Paul Ske on the other side, there’s a reason that he is only 10 and 10 despite having a 2.03 RA. Now, he did struggle in his last start at home against the Chicago Cubs, but a lot of it is just the fact that the Pittsburgh Pirates don’t back him up. Just the long and short of it for skins this season. You know, he’s 16 and 15 the Pirates are in his 31 starts, but you look an average of 3.42 42 runs of support per start this season. He has received three runs of support or less 18 times. Numbers like that are not going to cut it. Now, the Pirates have been doing a better job of winning skiing starts as of late, but right now they’ve kind of just fallen apart down the stretch on the road. They’re not really hitting all that well. And in the month of in the last two weeks, I should say against right-handed pitching. The Pirates are hitting just 199. The team OPS numbers are bottom five. The isolated power numbers are bottom five. So, not really looking to go and and back the uh the Reds here against uh against Hunter Green. But Paul Skins also has a career 0.34 erra against the Cincinnati Reds across four starts. It’s just been or sorry, 0.39, pardon me. Um across four starts, one run allowed in 23 innings of work, 33 strikeouts to two walks. What else can you say? So, for me here, I’m going to go with the under in the first five. I’m not going to leave anything to chance with either of these bullpens. I do think that, you know, if Cincinnati is going to strike, and they need to considering where they are in the uh in the wild card race, they’re going to be doing it against this uh this Pirates bullpen, which has had its problems at times. It has it does have a great erra on paper, but again, has still been known to have its fair share of struggles, and I like I said, I just don’t know if I trust the the Pirates offensively to begin with. So, I’m going to go with the under in the first five, and that’s going to be my free pick.
