What is going on, guys? I got a pick in this Astros verse Athletics game going down on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025. You will find all my plays there. Let’s break this one down, guys. We got game two of the series between the Astros and the Athletics going down on this Wednesday. Um, game one does happen on Tuesday evening. I’m recording this Tuesday afternoon, so I don’t know what the result of that game is. I did make the video on that game, and if you watch that video, I did lean Astros. I wasn’t super confident in it, but I I did lean Astros. This is just a series that means everything to the Astros and means nothing to the Athletics. You know, the Astros are three games behind the Mariners. Are they gonna pro are they going to win the AOS? Probably not because the Mariners have a series against the Rockies. So, it’s going to be tough sledding for the Astros, but like I said, they actually have something to play for where the Athletics don’t. Um, we’ll see because I mean, the last time these teams played it was uh or honestly just this season, the Athletics have beat the Astros five straight games. You know, we’ll see what happens on Tuesday, but you know, the Athletics have been playing this Astros team well um as of late. So, something to think about there. But when you look at the pitching matchup, I think there’s a clear pitching advantage for the Astros in this game. You got Hunter Brown on the mount for the Astros. He’s been their most reliable guy all season long. Um just been sturdy, man. 2011 erra in his last five. His full season sample size is incredible as well. And then you got JT Jyn on the mount for the Athletics. Don’t get me wrong, there’s been some good JT Jensen starts um sprinkled into the season, but if you look at his splits, man, he’s just been much better on the road like most of these athletics pitchers. At home, though, he has an erra close to six. So, the way I want to play this game, guys, is I want to cut this one in half. I want to target the first five. And really, I want to I’m betting on Hunter Brown in this game because I do think the Astros will be able to tack in some runs off JT Jen. Um, and then like I said, I I want to put my money on a guy who’s been great all season, and that guy’s Hunter Brown. So, I want to take the Astros first five minus half a run. I think they will be up at the end of the first five. I don’t really want to take full game. I’m a little bit worried once these bullpens get activated. I mean, this Athletics lineup has been extremely potent and dangerous, especially down the stretch. I could see them getting after this Astros bullpin a bit. So, let’s play it safe. Let’s just back Hunter Brown to have a good outing and let’s back these Astros bats though to smack up JT Jin a little bit. So, Astros first five minus half a run is going to be the play.
