Just saw that Herb Jones showed up to Media Day in straight team issued gear hoodie, pants, zero flash and man, it feels differently. In a league where pregame walks are basically fashion shows, with players decked out in designer fits, flashy accessories and all, Jones’ look felt like a breath of fresh air. He’s fresh off a solid extension ($68M deal) but says "nothing changed. If my family is good, I am cool. I don’t really care what people say about clothes…"

What stands out is how that simplicity reflects his game, defense first, no showboating, just solid production. All‑Defensive First Team, heaps of steals and blocks, this dude backs up his words. It’s not about the label; it’s about what you do on the court.

Do you think more players should embrace this kind of quiet authenticity instead of turning every entrance into a runway?

  1. Meh, if they produce then I don’t care what they wear before games. Only team-issued everything, roll up looking like Seth Rollins, doesn’t matter to me if they’re locked in on the court.
