Uh, there’s breaking news. Uh, I I need Here it comes. Am I see breaking news? All right. Adam Shaft, our colleague at the worldwide leader in sports, as it used to be known. I’m batting a thousand round here, man. I’m like, there is no way. There’s no way the Giants are going to start Jackson dart against the Los Angeles Chargers the way that this defense is marauding and confusing veteran quarterbacks like say Patrick Mahomes keeping him offkilter. Okay, there’s no way. Okay, with what the Chargers just did with Bo Nicks in his second year, right? There’s no way Gino Smith was just and Gino’s been at it for a long time. Mhm. Gino Smith didn’t look great either on Monday Night Football. No way that the Giants are going to start Jackson Dart against those guys this week. Well, I uh I’m off. And Chev reporting. It’s Jackson Dart starting for the Giants against the Los Angeles Chargers. And it is time to unleash the rookie. Jackson Dart season. Let’s go. and Russ, thank you for your service. And um that’s the way the Giants are going into week four at 0 and3 and then they’ll get him a start in New Orleans and then he’ll have a buy and coming out of the buy, he’s got the world champion Philadelphia Eagles on a short on a on a Thursday night, right? Then he’s got Oh, there’s no buy, pardon me. Then he’s got New Orleans. Then he’s got right a short week against Philadelphia. There you go. Yeah. Then at Denver, then at Philadelphia. That’s tough. That’s a Well, I mean it it’s all going to be tough. Yeah. I mean, he needs But that’s why you draft somebody in that position. Yeah. You know, so it’s going to be time and it’s going to be Dart and Scataboo. So, their rookies are starting quarterback and starting running back. I’m wondering the last time the Giants started a rookie at quarterback and running back in any game. Frank Gford and I don’t know and somebody else and um Ya Tiddle and Frank I mean and then neighbors. I mean that’s it. This is the future of the Giants and there it’s go time now which surprises me. I’m not going to lie. Uh but two things. one, it’s got to get better than what we’ve seen. And Jackson Dart is a guy that you traded up and I’m not in the building. So Dave Bowl’s got to take a pulse check of Dart’s ready. And then two, um, is there somebody in the locker room that’s kind of like giving the indication to the coach that we’ve got to go to the kid? Or I guess here’s a third. Uh management puts a a large thumb on the scale and says this is what we’re doing. And at 0 and three it’s time. And if management doesn’t get the sense that day ball’s coaching it up right then there will be changes. All Jackson just hold on to the football. Head on a swivel. Hold on to the football. Give your defense two scores. problem is is the Chargers were the best scoring defense in the NFL last year and giving up 20 points just 20 points to the to the Broncos raised that average just a slight tick that’s it. It’s going to be a massive test for Jackson Dart coming right out of the gate cuz um you know that’s not Vanderbilt walking through the door. Hey, you made it all the way to the end.   3. 2:08 Disappointingly you only have to go back to 2019 for Daniel Jones and Jon Hilliman who got his first start in his last ever NFL game as a rookie. I did check on Frank Gifford's rookie season and found a bizarre piece of trivia. At one point late in the season both of the Giants quarterbacks were hurt and future legendary coach Tom Landry played two games including one start. He was 11-for-47 for 172 yards, 1 touchdown and 7 interceptions, which is awful but understandable since he was actually a defensive back.

  7. The offebsive coach called terrible plays during the game.
    Why did'nt they cone out firing they did in Dallas? 🤔

    What happen the other receivers? 🤔

    It was obvious what plays the Giants where going to call.

    We know Nabors is a good receiver, but they knew that and that's why they had him covered the way they did.

    So much talent, but the Giants have the wrong mentality to run their offense.

    Russell Wilson should have been able to call his plays. He would have used everyone from receivers to running backs.

    That was the worst game called from the Giants I ever seen.

Keep in mind this is the same organization that didn't pick up Daniel Jones's 5th year option, then gave Jones a huge extension after the following year, then ruined Jones with terrible coaching and play calling and not having an O-Line, drafted Evan Neal 7th overall, let Xavier McKinney walk for nothing, let Saquon Barkley walk for nothing, signed Russell Wilson only to bench him after 3 games and signed Jamies Winston to . . . . not play him. 🙄

  13. I don't see how throwing Dart to the Wolves is a good idea for the Giants. He's a rookie QB going up against a tough Chargers defense in the next game? The Giants' offensive line stinks! Russell Wilson should have started for at least half the season. Terrible move

  14. It's not Russell! The Giant offense is trash. It's on the coaching, poor play call ,they are not drawing up plays for the receiver to get open, most of them are covered. Russell is running for his life, and no run game. But, here we go again , putting ALL the blame on Russell . It's getting OLD!!!🤔

  17. lets be real, what does it matter if Dart starts against Chargers, not like they are dropping Patrick Mahomes or Lamar Jackson for him. Lose with Dart or lose with Russ, same same. Just hope it doesn't break Dart's confidence if they get pummeled.

  20. But Wilson said he couldn't step into one of his throws because the pass rush was so strong, and he was just trying to give his receivers a chance. Lol. He's been playing like this for at least 5 years now.

  21. Hate to say it, but this call has to be coming from the top. Last time they dealt with a massive qb shift, Ben Mcadoo put in Geno (who played well) for a struggling Eli and the fan base revolted and Eli was back to starting a week later. When the fan base whines and cries, Mara is reactionary and listens and has ever since.

  25. I think the Patriots demonstrated that you need to fix your offensive line BEFORE fixing the QB position. Look at what has happened with Mac Jones since he left there.

  28. Giants were the third pro team for Y.A. Title, they didn't have him until he was 35 years old.
    Tittle was a rookie in 1948 for the AAFC Baltimore Colts.

  29. Last Sunday night's game was a winnable one. The Chiefs played like garbage but Russ played worse. Any type of competent play from the QB would have flipped the script on the final score.

  34. Ownership should tell Coach Daboll your going to start Dart and you better have him ready and if Dart doesn't win at least 2 of there next 5 and if he doesn't your out of a job. I'm giving him 2 because with the schedule I don't see him winning 3 games, you should all go look at the schedule because it' gets really rough after there bye Week 5
