There’s the first strike out today for Bryce Elder. Hottest day we’ve had in Atlanta in a while. Probably all month. got him to go after that slider and a one, two, three inning with a couple of strikeouts for the double nickel. Michael hit two homers the day he brings in his necklace. Bouncer here to Garcia. Is Michael going to beat it out? He will. So that avoids a double play and Nacho pops it up. D Young right there on the line. It remains one to nothing through of the year. Catches made by he never had over 74 walks in any one of his previous seasons at the big league level. Unfortunately here he is down on strikes looking. This should send us to the bottom of the eighth. But Wood adds another one for Washington with a ground ball toward the middle. The new first baseman is Chaparo and he’s on the other end of this throw from Marcelo Zuna cranks this out to right center. It’s headed toward the bullp and that’s where it lands. A big fly for the big bear. Four to2 here in the eighth. [Music] We wanted two today from Marcel. We’ll take one and four feet there. The 404 for Marcel. Yeah, perfect for Atlanta. Followed up by Harris popping out to left here as Lyall comes in to make Rutled. Two two pitch and down goes Nacho Alvarez. But Marcelo Zuna does make it four to two day. A Garcia grounder. Kim will step on second and turn it in to a double play. And here is the catcher, Jorge Alaro. Who’s going to get to it? Can Oh, it’s Akuna that gets there on the diving grab that prevents the fifth run of the game. Carrer who does have three blown saves, nine on the season in total. Eli White, first pitch he sees. He sends to deep center. And it is gone. A splash into Chattahuchi Falls for Eli now. Swinging a miss. So Proar is the first out here in the bottom of the ninth and he went. Manny Gonzalez. Now Ronald hit at home run distance, but it is fouled. Ground ball towards short. Abrams close. Oh, they’re going to review that. Don’t even ask. Just do it. Two down, one-run game. Tying run at first. Here’s the payoff. Buried in the ground towards second. Hustling, shoveling, saves. All the pressure on CB Buckner again and Drake Baldwin busting it out of the box. We’ll see whether or not the National They will challenge. CB Buckner can’t hide over there. He’s in the middle of all maybe the after review out. Game is over. And just like that, the 10ame win streak is over with an overturn call at first base. LBG, don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.
