“When I hear people say he doesn’t have IT or he’s not the guy, that’s foolishness.”

Paging Ryan Clark.

That’s Mark Schlereth on the Rich Eisen Show talking up Ashton Jeanty … and keepin’ it very real about the offensive line.

“The Raiders couldn’t block their way out of a wet paper sack.”

Schlereth: Jeanty… Learning, O-Line… “Awful”

  1. This whole thing reminds me of saquon’s rookie year with the Giants. Ashton is a special player, hopefully the raiders can figure out how to block for him before it’s too late and he goes to a rival in free agency

  2. RC with another jackass garbage opinion. Stink hates the Raiders but he’s correct here. He’s getting buried at the line and has zero opportunity to make a move. We need JPJ at center, Parham at RG, and Meredith at LG. Fuck all the way off with running out of the shotgun and pistol. It’s not that fucking complicated. Quit trying to outsmart everyone and play to your strengths.

  3. Everyone is saying the same thing about our O line and yet our coaching staff seems to be missing the point.

  4. When did Mark become so level headed? He use to repeat so much cheese. Now hes a really solid NFL analyst

  5. OL sucks but also need Chip to adjust. Find the runs that are working well and utilize those. Get Ashton in space with the screen game.

Outside of the first drive vs New England and garbage time last week, our offense has been gross.

    Welcome to Pete Carrol football.

  7. Jeanty is going to be a bust. This is evident by the run style he uses. Several breakout runs he elects to run over defenders instead of being shifty like Gibbs or Robinson. At his size that is not sustainable, sad to see he has chosen the style of a bowling ball.

Unless he adjusts to a more elusive back, he’s not gonna be the player he could be.
