Of course we would but he will very likely get more money than we would be comfortable spending.
I feel like signing any FA that is not a max or min player is a fools errand. by definition you are overpaying and really the whole point here is to maximize your talent within the cap.
IIRC, Brooklyn, Washington, and Utah are going to have max cap space. And maybe the Clippers (investigation pending). Every other team would have to work out some sort of sign and trade (which caps the acquiring team at the 1st apron).
Basically, the Celtics can be in it if they want. And they should want.
