1. Dude has Pat’s trust. They’re getting more and more in sync every week.

2. I see a lot of bad throws this year. Honestly wasn’t great last year. I love Pat but dude has lost his deep ball

3. WIDE OPEN like 90% of the time on these deep balls. Pat just needs to put a bit more air under a few of these so he can adjust and get to them and we’re set.

5. Kinda seems like Mahomes got so used to Worthy’s speed that he bombs it about 5-10 yards further than most players could reach. Just needs more reps to learn Thornton’s speed and he’ll drop them right in his hands.

   EDIT: Thornton is fast AF, he was clocked at 21.48 mph in a game. Worthy’s just on a different level. He has been clocked at 24.41 mph. On a long break away, that’s a significant difference.

7. Tbf Mahomes hasn’t been able to practice the deep ball much in real games. It honestly looks like he’s just not used to his speed or route running. Looks like Mahomes was trying to throw the type of ball you would to an undersized speedster but he has adjusted.

   Maybe it’s something else but that’s my guess

8. Pat missed him on 8 balls. 9 if you count the on before the Giants TD play.
   Pat seems really rusty on those deep passes.

12. So, I’m going to say something that I expect to get some heat for, but I’m cool with that.

    I’m noticing on a lot of of these plays, that we have receivers open and Pat isn’t going to them.

    For the people who don’t constantly defend him, no matter what he does, what are your thoughts on this? I adore him and always expect the best, so I want to see what other people think about whether he is making all of his reads or not.

13. I think you missed one. Wasn’t there two deep throws at the end of the eagles game. One Pat missed and then the next play hit the td.

    Watching this is a little disappointing. Pat missed so many easy throws. Like I don’t if it’s time or anticipation but boy were some of those throws tough to watch.

    I think Pat literally made every mistake in this clip. Under throwing, over throwing, throwing the wrong angles, throwing into coverage when he could give the ball air and lead the receiver to open ground.

    Please watch this Mahomes and get back to your roots. These are the easiest throws you are missing.
