For Torey Krug, career ending surgery is not the end, it’s the beginning of being a full time dad. “My oldest daughter said, ‘I’m so happy you’re not playing anymore. I’ll miss going to the games and seeing Louie, but you don’t have to go on road trips anymore.’”

1. I’d have to look back and see how Torey looked 2 years ago when he was playing, but damn he looks like he’s aged. I know he’s probably been going through hell physically the last few years, even when he was playing. I hope he can fully recover to be the best dad and husband for his family.

2. No one wants an athlete to have career ending injuries.

   Unless it’s Brad Marchand.

3. I noticed that Krug was always wearing a Louie hat. Looks like he was doing it for his daughter, pretty sweet.
