Until we beat the champs it’s not. Absolutely top tier though, love this team.
Next 5 on the NYK are definitely the best
Hopefully Mitch stays healthy so we can see the full potential of this squad
Knicks fan here, but seriously. What was our record against the best teams in the league last year? Not to downplay Mitch’s importance, but it’s not going to change 0% winning percentage to above 50%. If he can even play a full season.
this very well could be our best 5 but they need to try to make it work with either deuce or yabu in the starting lineup instead of mitch because 1. they need to limit mitch’s minutes as much as possible to keep him healthy and 2. KAT is far more impactful at center than at forward so our theoretically highest ceiling lineup has to feature KAT at the 5. they can’t just give up on making KAT at center work before they even try.

We don’t even know the starting five yet. Sidenote Mitch staying healthy starting and playing near 30 minutes a night seems impossible.
Mitch better learn to make his free throws this year
Brown plans on running. I don’t see him starting Towns and Robinson.
