New York Yankees vs Chicago White Sox | Game Highlights (9/24/25)

There’s Max Freed 32nd start 18 and five 2.92 ERA. Rice has never gotten a turn and you know Boone talked it over with Freeze said yeah let’s do it because Free might be pitching to Rice in a playoff series. Swing and a miss. Mind drop down on strikes. Swing and a miss. Good first inning. Two strikeouts. White shots go down in order. One two three. the three 0 ball four. Three walks to load the bases for the Yankees in the first inning. That brings up Stanton. All likelihood Stanton has the green light here. Expecting Eller to just try to get a strike. He does. And Stanton took the lefty deals. Payoff fly ball right field. Baldwin has pretty good arm. He’ll make the catch. tagging and just bluffing his Gisham. Throw comes all the way home. 3-2. Swung on and missed. He got him on the slider. Two away now. And that’ll bring up Goldsmith. And now Jonathan Cannon comes on. Recall from Triple A Charlotte today. And he faces Paul Goldmith. One and two on Goldmid. Cannon deals. Swing and a miss. How about that? Bases loaded on three walks, nobody out. The Yankees do not score a run. That one is ripped to right field. That’s going to be in there. One hop up against the wall. Fielding it out there as Judge and he fires a second. He really fired it in there, which is a good sign as Vargas moves to third. He holds Montgomery to a single. High-fly ball. That’s going to get a run in. Bellinger is there. Makes a play tagging Vargas. He’ll score. Throw comes into second. Sack fly for Sosa. Team leading 72nd and the White Sox lead one- nothing. Number nine hitter the center fielder Michael A. Taylor at the plate. Pitch swing and a miss. Got him on a change. Two two count on Vulpi. Driven to left field and that ball is off the wall. Vulpi makes a turn. He’s going for two and he’s going to make it for the double. He almost had that 28th home run. Yeah, you were trying to get one over the wall. That one off the wall, but boy, he really pulled his hands in. Wow. Here ball kind of tails in. He just pulls his hands in to get the barrel there and lines it off the left field wall. And there’s a walk. So here’s Judge. He walked in the first inning. First and second, two outs. White Sox lead one- nothing. Driven deep to right center field going back. Taylor trap wall. See youa. Fight 50 is landed. 50 home runs or more for the fourth season of his career. Aaron Judge with a three-run home run. Yankees lead. Well, that’s a big home run for Aaron Judge. I I’m sure within his mind that, you know, he was thinking, I need to get to 50. And, you know, it’s such a magical number. He’s had a great September. That one is ripped into right center field. That ball is off the glove of a sliding Taylor and it kicks around. Ben Rice wants three. He’ll round second. He’ll go to third and he’ll make it. Stick with it. You got to finish these guys out. A great piece of hitting by Goldmith. Reaches out and pokes it to right field. Another run for the Yankees. Ben Rice crosses. 45th RBY for Goldmith. 4-1 Yankee lead. Driven out into left center field and deep. Who’s going to get that one? Nobody. It’s going to go all the way to the wall. Goldman rounds third there. Going to hold him up at the last minute. He runs through the stop sign. No throw. He’ll score. An RBI double for Chisum. And the Yankees lead 5-1. Strike three. Vargas now looking. Sosa swings and tips it into the glove of Rice. Two away. chases a pitch way out of the zone. That’s the six strikeout for Max Free. Lined and caught by Goldman. He tags out Vargas for the double play. Broken bat lined into an unassisted three. Double play. Six innings in the books for Freed. He leads 5-1. 2-2 swing and a miss on the curve. Jolts down on strikes. The lefty deals high-fly ball right field drifting back as Judge and he’ll put it away in front of the truck. Seven strong for Max Freed. He gives up one run and at the end of six and a half innings of play as the Yankees five. White Sox one. Runner goes. That one’s drilled deep to right center field. There it goes. See youa. Another home run for Gisham. Number 34. And the Yankees lead 7 to one. 34 home runs, 74 runs batted in. What a season progression. High drive right center field. That ball is gone. Number 51 for Judge. An amazing season continues for the Yankee captain. 8-1. Well, you’re just getting that feeling by watching him the last few days. His swings are just locked in. Popped up. And that’ll do it. The Yankees have the same record as the Toronto Blue Jays. They sit at top the American League East. Two home runs for Judge, giving him 51. The Blue Jays hold the tiebreaker. But there four games remaining in the regular season. And now all the Yankees have to do, Paul, is gain one game in those four games and they will win the East. Yo, what’s going on everybody? Dan here. 1. I made a bet that if Judge hits over 53 Homer's this kid on the Internet that thinks Cal Raleigh is the MVP will have to print out his comment and eat it. JUDGEY DONT LET ME DOWN.

  2. Max Fried would’ve won 20 games this year but boon had Cabrera and Peraza on the bench and put a guy at third base that couldn’t play the position and has been released. He made three errors that game causing free not to qualify for the win.

  3. We replaced Soto with Grisham and Bellinger. They combined for a better hitting percentage, way more home runs and the most important thing much better defense. Great trade off and a much better deal!

  4. WOW! Judge tying the 50+ HR seasons. No doubt he'll get the record eventually. Next year probably.
    So, we're in FIRST w/Toro.
Win out the next four games and Toronto losing just one game in that span and we get the buy!
BOONIE! You got them the best record in the MLB the last 40 games. You proved my ass wrong. And I LOVE IT!

  5. Seeing the clips of Blue Jays losing their shit today over being fed up about the Yanks getting hot and tying their record is the icing on the cake for me today🔥🔥🔥

Nice win today keep ya up ts ain’t over!!!

  6. Clearly, a majority of the Chicago white Sox just want these games over with. Pitchers just up from the minors, hitters waving at pitches clearly off the plate, hope Yankees don’t think these wins will come as easily in the playoffs
