DROY tends to favor edge rushers, but I think Jihaad has a case for it if he’s able to play the full season and rack up some sacks and couple turnovers, thoughts?

  1. It’ll likely highly depend on how Vic does things once Dean is healthy.

Either way my boy 💣🥫is doing a hell of a job so far.

  2. I am very much excited by Campbell, I think he’s gonna be great:

But PFF’s grades for Campbell are REALLY generous. He has been good, especially for a rookie, but they are giving him near-elite grades (not elite for a rookie, elite in general) and he has not been THAT good.

Some pretty good all-22 analysis shows him not being great in his run fits, his lack of weight being an issue deconstructing blocks, and some unwillingness to take on blocks (he needs to learn from Nolan Smith, who is an absolute maniac at taking on blocks…and could maybe even tone it down a notch from that level to avoid injury). That’s not being a hater, all of those are perfectly fine weaknesses to have – he’s only a rookie and he can develop. He’s been very good – probably even ahead of schedule as a 1st rounder. He just isn’t perfect, who is? (Zack Baun)

Point being, he’s been very promising and his weaknesses are very understandable given his traits, body, and experience…but he’s being graded in all-pro range, and he simply isn’t playing THAT well (which is an absurd bar).

  3. Has to get more flashy plays for this to continue… needs ints, FFs  and sacks or pass rushers and DBs can jump right infront of him as the weeks continue

  4. He’ll probably lose to Abdul Carter who gets like 4 meaningless sacks in December because Carter and Mitchel lost it due to late season production from other top contenders

  5. He’s having easily the best season of any rookie defender so we already know he’s coming second in DROY voting
