[Rome] Jeremy Peña took some swings pregame and still felt soreness in his left oblique, Joe Espada said. 9 comments Turns out the Sugar Land Space Cowboys season is NOT over yet Crunch time and nice to see players started packing it in. He will have 5 months to rest up that oblique. Really out of no where his oblique starts to hurt. Fade me. Rub some Bengay on it. Pop a couple of ibuprofen and have him bunt for a hit. Still better than most of the lineup. Edit: spelling Oblique injuries are awful, especially in baseball. I’m obviously by no means an elite professional athlete, but I had an 8-9 month layoff with 2-3 of those in PT for an oblique strain. Shit sucks. Hopefully the whole *world class athlete with unlimited health resources available* thing gets him back soon. Give him a salt tablet and run him out there. Just shut the whole god damn operation down. Bring it back next offseason with new coaches and let’s go for our 3rd! Get him out on the field. He’s young and healthy and can recover all winter. The rest of us do our jobs with all kinds of aches and pains. Baseball players are soft. Season is on the line. Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
