FRANCHISE RECORD! The Phillies set a new franchise single-game record with EIGHT home runs! πŸ”₯

Fly ball center field. Going back on it is Marcy toward the wall. Gauging and he can’t get it. It’s gone. 55 home runs. He has hit two moonshots in two days and the Phillies have tied it up at one. I don’t know, man. What more can he give us? Honestly, what more can he give this fan base and this this team? Fly ball left center field. He swung basically one-handed. It’s carrying out toward the Giants side. It’s gone. Edmundo Sosa is so strong. Two to one Phils. Yeah, he got fooled on this pitch and just one hand. 400 ft with one hand. That ball’s crushed deep to right center field. Forget about it into the bullpen and then outs. Ball’s flying. It is traveling. Three to one. I don’t think that one needed any help. Nope. That ball was beautifully struck. Oh man, that ball is golf deep to left field. So has no chance. A threerun home run. The second one of the night for Edmundo Sosa. It’s 6-1 Phillies. It’s okay to score all your runs with a home run. Yeah, what the heck? That ball is crushed deep into the night into the second deck. Wow. So, a home run. Kyle Schwarber. Another step closer to Ryan Howard. It’s his 56th of the season. It’s his second one of the nights. Fly ball left field. Hit pretty well. Going back to Noa. Senoha to the wall. It’s gone. Backto back home runs. Schwarber and Bone. 11 home runs for Bow. Phillies lead it eight to one. And all eight runs have come thanks to the homer. Kev smokes one deep to left center field. Forget about that one. It’s gone. Tworun home run. The Phils are lightening up tonight. It’s 101 Philadelphia. Two and two. Pull down the left field line. Senoha’s going back. It is gone into the first step. Oh, he called the third base umpire interference. I think that went out. Three home run game. Come on, everybody to their feet for that one. Wow. And Mundo Sosa hasn’t played in 12 days. He’s making up for lost time. Not only that, the Phillies have set a franchise record with eight home runs in a game. The crew chief revealed a potential home run call. Review the call on the fields confirmed. Home run.

The Phillies mash eight home runs against the Marlins to set a new franchise record.

  1. What's the record for most runs in a game in which all scored via homers? This game must have come close to it, if not the record. 6 solo, 1 2-run, and 1 3-run.

  2. LET'S GOOOOOOOOO PHILLLLLLLSSSSSSSπŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””πŸ””

  3. I almost bet a ton on Schwarber to homer twice hahahaha. I decided to just double up on a single homer, but I should have done the original plan lol. I’m happy either way. I hope he at least ties Ryan Howard. We are definitely re-signing Kyle.

  4. Go Phillies and Eagles! That is what I am talking about. The Phillies bats cannot go cold this October. I am concerned about the bullpen from preventing the Phillies from winning the World Series. They will need to score a lot of runs to overcome the bullpen weakness, but I have a feeling this is their year!
