Love the comment he tells the players, “You guys make the decisions for us by how you play and how you compete.” That’s fantastic. It’s not a coaches decision that you’re scratched or in the AHL – you did that all by yourself.
Maybe it’s because I *want* to like this guy as a coach and because I respect him more than I ever did Eakins or Cronin but he seems more relaxed after a bad game like this. He seems almost like he’s happy to see it because now he can skate the guys into the ground in practice before the next game.
