  1. Any reasonable person would admit that by the letter of the rules, it’s firmly a completed catch by the offensive player. But ESPN and the rest of sports media went to town on it as leverage to pressure the NFL to conclude the ref strike.

  2. It is so wild to me every time I see that one of those gambling sites is an actual sponsor. Like how is that legal.

  3. Our Fabulous Seahawks were beginning there Run to becoming WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

Time to get Russ Back here and in the ROH with the rest of the Gang

  4. Taters is legit a top 5 Seahawk wide receiver based on nothing but my man crush on him for those few years.

  5. Only reason this was even a big deal is it was MNF + everyone was hyper fixated on refs + ESPN was throating Rodgers to no end, so they had to come to his defense for why he sucked on primetime.

Had this been a week 6 10am game against the browns, we wouldn’t even have an anniversary for it.

  6. Russbot looks like he glitched out during the celebration a few seconds into the video lmao

  7. Was at this game. Had no idea the catch was controversial until I made it back to the bus and the radio crew (ESPN) was losing their minds lol.

  8. This was my favorite game in Seahawks history, something about needing a miracle and getting it, i remember actually praying to football gods

  9. The fact that this is considered the worst football call in history tells you everything you need to know about the NFL. First, of course the Packers are the team that make this possible. Refs are supposed to give the Packers the win. They are the only team legally allowed to have fans own the team. Seems like a conflict of interest. They are one of two teams who can have the QB march into Goodell’s office to demand rule changes that will prevent a QB from being tackled – the Aaron Rodgers rule.

How many worse calls have I seen that favor teams like the Packers or Patriots – and now of course the Chiefs? The Packers alone have the multiple blown calls vs. the Lions. Then there’s the infamous blown calls against Dallas and New Orleans that gave the Packers a win. Those aren’t worse calls? They had to change the rules after those games just to explain why the Packers should be allowed to win. And if you want to see worse calls – the Seahawks have an entire game full of them, but it favored the Steelers, and yes it is the Steelers v Seahawks Super Bowl. The calls were so obviously leaned in favor of the Steelers that the refs admitted they blew it.

  10. It wasn’t the only bad call in that game. The series before Rodgers got a benefit call that was complete bullshit, and had he not gotten that call GB very likely wouldn’t have been up in points anyway.

No one should ever doubt Tate’s hustle. He was a beast in college, and that’s the guy you want fighting for the 50/50 ball. He was a great Hawk.
