  1. That’s great and all, but our offense is still anemic. Moves need to be made in the RB department.

  2. Patrick’s deep ball needs some work. Even with that, I feel we are celebrating mediocrity with Thornton. Until we are a multi-faceted offense, we are going to struggle.

Still love the Chiefs and hope the best.

  3. Apart from the obvious which is Thornton showing the ability as a deep threat, you gotta figure it instills more confidence in Mahomes taking those shots not only with him but with Worthy when he’s back as well.

Overall a net positive for sure but I still worry a little but about some of Mahomes’ uncharacteristic inaccuracies. A few of those are probably getting intercepted. Hopefully he can dial that in though and it’ll only improve as they get more on the same page with each other.

  4. This sounds nice on the surface but then you think about it and realize it’s not really a good thing lol

  5. It’s a good thing. If not for Rice, Worthy and Royals not playing, there is a chance Thornton didn’t even make the team. Injuries forced the team to play him and he’s emerging as a really good receiver. That will help things as others get healthy.
