Jordan Addison Addresses The Media In Advance of His 2025 Season Debut

How’s it feel to be back, man? It feel amazing. You know, first game back going overseas, you know, don’t get no better than that. But, you know, most importantly, it just feel good being around the guys. And just how does it feel to get through these? I guess it was kind of four weeks away with kind of how the suspension started. Uh, yeah. You know, it’s tough. It’s always tough, you know, not being out there with the teammates and having to watch it on TV. But, like I said, it just feel good to be back being around the guys and just, you know, get back in the mix. Jordan, uh, KO was talking about what a great training camp you had. Wes Phillips mentions it as well. What what do you think was clicking for you especially with JJ during the summer? I’ll say just, you know, our attention to detail, just going out there and getting better every single day. We was taking it one day at a time and I feel like we attacked it that way. Jordan, what do you think you did to keep your mind engaged and stay in the game even when you weren’t playing? Really just, you know, staying around close loved ones and just keeping my mind focused. You know, even though I wasn’t allowed in the building, I was making sure that, you know, I was still taking mental reps so that once I come back, it’s like I ain’t missing a beat. Did you throw with someone or did you I mean do you go out and run routes? What do you do? Yeah, I was running routes. I was lifting, you know, just the usual like like a offseason program, you know, getting ready for camp. So, you know, stuff like that. And then after that first week of stuff, I was able to come in here and lift with the strength coach and just be in meetings and stuff. So, you know, that played a big part in it as well. You just want to get that first catch and get going. Yeah, that’s how that’s all I’m thinking. I’m ready. Jordan, the past two weeks, just getting to be around the building, be around the teammates. Just how how has that kind of helped kind of Yeah, it felt good. you know, just being isolated by myself. I was a, you know, in my thoughts a lot. I was alone. So, just being able to come back in the building and, you know, chill with my teammates, crack jokes, laugh. It’s just, it was, it was a big part in, you know, process and coming back. Hey, Jordan, when was the first time you threw and caught with Carson Wentz? Um, was it today? It was today, actually. Yeah, it was today. It was today. We just worked a little bit after practice just to, you know, get the timing down, but we was clicking though. It’s like we’ve been playing together for a minute. How crazy is it in the NFL? You know, you only are gone for really two and a half weeks real time. Completely different quarterback by the time you get back. Yeah. You know, that’s that’s the way things go. Sometimes things just happen that way. But, you know, I’m excited to go out there and play with them and, you know, just go out there and get a dub. Is there some interesting packages now with Thelen coming in and uh Naylor and yourself and Jefferson? I mean, are you excited about, you know, four wides maybe and what you guys can do? Yeah, we deep. We We deep. We got it going. Y’all going to have to stay tuned for that. We got it going, though. But there’s some stuff, huh? Yeah, there’s some stuff for some stuff in there for sure. Hey, Jordan, why why you think you’ve been able to be productive with so many different quarterbacks that you’ve had just in your short time here and even going back to college, you know? Yeah. I feel like just as a receiver, you know, the way I look at it is I feel like it’s my job to go out there and make the quarterback look good no matter who it is. And I always got the mindset to me like it don’t matter who back there, just throw it up. That’s how that’s how I go about it. What did you think of the first game with Carson watching the film back? He looked good. He looked good. I I watched the the whole week of practice leading up to that and he looked sharp as well. So, I kind of knew he was going to go out there and do his thing like he usually do. Jordan, how much are you looking forward to kind of just putting everything behind you now and just getting to focus on football? Yeah, I’m looking forward to it a lot, man. But, you know, most importantly, I’m just happy to be around my teammates. So, you know, we going to go overseas and we going we going to get it done. Do you feel like you could handle a normal workload right out of the gate? I feel like I can. Feel like I can. Strength the strength the strength staff did a good job preparing me. So, you know, I’m I’m going to bounce right back in and get it going. Is there any sense internally just, man, I I want to have a big game right out of the gate? I mean, I you know, you got to take what you can within whatever the game plan is, but is there part of you that says, man, I didn’t like missing those first three. I want to explode this week. Of course. Of course. But, you know, I’m going to go out there confident and, you know, I’m just going to do my thing.

  1. This fan base is something else πŸ˜… during the off season every was begging for Addison to get traded πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ saying how they were tired of him, I even got into it with a couple fans, lmao look at y'all now. 🀣🀣🀣🀣 SKOL 😈

  2. Jordan seems to have a new humility and quieter confidence now. He seems to have taken a lot from his setbacks. The league could be in for a major wake up call this weekend.

  3. I love Theilen but he just doesn't have it anymore, it's sad to see. I'm glad he'll retire as a Viking, but we need Jordan back bad. Jefferson needs someone to take defense off of him.

  4. Maybe he can make it thru a season without embarrassing himself and his teammates. Great example for kids when it comes to alcohol and being a responsible adult. Lots of other great athletes out there who may be willing to obey the law.
