[Goldman] Chiefs WR coach Connor Embree on Jalen Royals: “I expect him to get in and play… He was trending up the whole way… He’s quiet and works hard… Another guy, you ask him to do something and he’ll do it.”

Embree on Worthy’s limitations with the shoulder injury: “He’s got to play football if he’s out there. He’s got to protect himself if he’s out there, injury or not.”
Connor Embree is still an unqualified nepo baby
I’m excited to see Royals play. Hopefully he’s got the it factor that we need, along with Worthy and Hollywood. And Rice when he comes back
Ask him to do something and he’ll do it? Well that’s convenient, innit? Let me try.
Hey Jalen!!! I need you to score 4 touchdowns against the Ravens, bud. Thanks!
Sidenote: I think Connor Embree has reversed his own narrative here. The first half of 2023 everyone was calling for him to be fired. Since then he’s helped develop Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and now Tyquan Thornton into legit receivers. And I’m excited to see what Royals can do. Credit where it’s due, Embree seems to be doing a solid job as WR coach.
Sounds like 10 snaps
Deep to worthy first play
Ok now I wanna hear about the players that are asked to do something and refuse
I could care less about embree’s opinion. I’m still shocked he’s employed.
Yep, Embree is definitely being brought up on the Reid speak. Say a lot without actually saying anything at all.
