Baltimore Orioles @ Chicago White Sox | LIVE! Play-by-Play & Commentary | 9/15/25 | Game #150
called to see if she’d like to go to see a show, but Miss Kate said no. I’ll tell you what you can do. Take me out to the ball game. Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and crackers, Jack. I don’t care if I never get back. Let me root root root for the home team. If they don’t win, it’s a shame. It’s one, two, three strikes. You’re out at the old ball game. [Music] Katy Casey saw all the games, knew the players by their first names, told the umpire he was wrong all along, good and strong. When the score was just two to two, Casey Casey knew what to do. Just to cheer up the boys, she knew. She made the gang sing this song. Take me out to the ball game. Take me out with me. I don’t care if it’s not the best option, but it just is what it is. It’s a shame. So, it’s it’s not the best option, but it just is what it is. [Music] So, it’s it’s not the best option, but it just is what it is. [Laughter] Yeah. Greetings, folks, and welcome to live coverage of Orioles baseball where tonight the Baltimore Orioles will be taking on the Chicago White Socks. First game of a three-game series in Chicago, Illinois. How you doing, folks? It’s your old pal, the Bird Watcher, here. People call me BW for short. That works for me. Hey, did you happen to watch the Orioles yesterday afternoon? If so, uh, I have a message for you. I apologize for Baltimore. I apologize for Baltimore. I apologize for Baltimore. Uh, Tony, break down how uh how you managed that yesterday. So, it’s it’s not the best option, but it just is what it is. Makes sense. Sometimes life hands you that kind of a situation. So it’s it’s not the best option, but it just is what it is. Yeah. Yeah. I can see that. I can see that. Folks, the Orioles yesterday. Uh I don’t know if I want to talk about it all night or just mention it as quickly as I can and move on. I’m somewhere stuck between those two very polar opposite uh feelings. Um yeah. Uh rest in peace Carson Ragsdale. I guess I wish I had that funeral durge music on the soundboard. That would be appropriate. Uh Carson, uh you are definitely sacrificed uh uh for some sort of reason. I don’t know. But sorry, man. That was uh Yeah. Uh folks, yeah, just yesterday. What was that? I don’t know. I’m very upset about it. If I see it again, I’m going to write a very stern letter to the Orioles front office and let them know my feelings as an indual individual fan that doesn’t have a whole lot of money to splash by buying uh you know, club seats or something. Sorry. Uh I’m going to write a very pointed letter. I see that again. It was really bad. Uh so well look uh if we are going to recover from that yesterday, what better way to maybe start winning again uh than to take on the White Socks, folks. The White Socks are not good. They are not good. I’m not going to sit here and completely trash them because this is baseball and baseball will humble you. But, uh, the White Socks are probably going to finish with a 100 losses on the season. Uh, they’re going to have to play better than 500 down the stretch. Not much better, but about a game over 500 in order to avoid losing a 100 games. Uh, they have the worst record in the American League. And uh hopefully uh as bad as we’re doing, last place in the American League East, three losses in a row right now, 80 losses on the season. Uh hopefully we’re going to take this series. If we take the series two out of three, yeah, we want to sweep, but I’m just saying if we take it two out of three, we get back home, still with a chance to go undefeated the rest of the way and avoid a losing season. Uh remember folks, after this series, we have three more series, uh what is it? Uh 10 games, and seven of those 10 games are against the Yankees. I I need to make a community post about that. Uh on the eve of uh the series back in Baltimore coming up this weekend, I think I need to write a post to let all the bird watchers know out there. Look, I know the season is over in terms of, you know, getting anywhere, but uh you want to tune in. Look, folks, don’t throw away seven Yankee games out of a season. This is seven of the 13 games we play head-to-head. More than half the games of a season we play against these jerkoffs and uh we shouldn’t turn our backs on on those games. Uh let’s show up for those. All right. And we also take on the Rays who we are trying to catch and get out of the basement here, the American League East. So there are reasons to still try to win. You hear me? Uh, Tony Manelino. So, it’s it’s not the best option, but it just is what it is, right? There are reasons to continue to try to win and not uh fold like a cheap suit and do whatever the hell that was yesterday. Okay? Please uh don’t disrespect the fan base like that again. That was really gross. Uh, all right. So, news regarding Baltimore. Uh, let’s get the least uh surprising news out of the way. Carson Ragsdale has been designated for assignment. What a shock. It’s almost as if the Orioles called him up just to abuse him and then kick him to the curb because they refused to put anybody else out there when it was abundantly clear. Uh he was not helping the team in any way out there on the mound. Just let him we just let him hang out there. It was awful. Uh along with that, uh some unfortunate news, another pitcher with another injury. Uh Albert Suarez. It was nice to have him back for what, 10 days, two weeks, something like that. Uh Suarez has right elbow discomfort and he is on the 15-day DL which effectively ends his 2025 season. and Albert Suarez we won’t see again until spring training. Right elbow discomfort. Uh the Orioles have made a couple of corresponding moves. They have recalled Yeram Heraldo, a right-handed reliever. He goes into the bullpen and Chase McDermott who has been knocking on the door to get activated uh with this team. He has officially now joined the active roster. Chase McDermott, right-handed pitcher, starter turned reliever is now in the Orio bullpen. All right, folks. By the way, one more thing. The Orioles claimed left-handed pitcher Jose Castillo, not the starter, right-handed Jose Castillo from the Mariners. They have another guy, a lefty, a reliever. They just DFA him. We just claimed him off waiver. How many relievers have we claimed this season? Uh here’s another one. He has not yet reported, so the Orioles haven’t made a spot for him on the roster yet. Uh we’ll see what happens with that. Adley Rutman begins his rehab assignment tomorrow. It’s going to take a week, which means he will have about one week uh to play perhaps with the team. uh handful of games. That’s it. And then Jordan Westber, we will get about 11 games, 11 potential games out of him because he returns tomorrow. Jordan Westber will be reinstated tomorrow. It’s already been said that he’s going to DH in the first game back and then make a start at third base the following two games. So, Westber is back and that is a good thing. Uh, I got to get Westy’s button back here. Well, West is that way. There it is. All right. So, Westber, uh, making his way back tomorrow. All right. Those are the major notes. Uh, let’s take a look at the starting lineups and the pitching matchup on the mound for the Orioles. Kyle Bradish. Bradish with a record of 0 and1 17 innings since his return. A 2.65 erra and a 0.94 whip. Got the strikeout pitch working. 21ks in those 17 innings. Just 12 hits and four walks. Starting for the White Socks is a lefty named Tyler Gilbert. Uh this is only his third or fourth start. Uh normally a reliever. the it’s already been said here that the White Socks are going to get a sub substantial amount of work in from uh another pitcher of their Shawn Burke. Burke was announced as the starter uh at least on the ESPN website uh the past few days leading up to the game, but it’s going to be one of those start with uh reliever and then go to the main guy situation with uh Tyler Gilbert being a lefty. You can understand why the Orioles normally have a lefty heavy lineup at the top. So, the idea is to start the game with Gilbert, the lefty, and then go to Burke at some point. Uh, probably a couple three innings tops into this ball game. All right, here are the starting lineups. This first pitch is only 3 minutes away, not even. Jackson Holidays at second base, leading off. Jeremiah Jackson will play third base and bat second. Gunner Henderson’s at shortstop, hitting third. Tyler O’Neal plays in the field for the first time since his return from injury. He’s in right field. Ryan Mel Castle will play at first base and hit fifth. Dylan Beavers will bat sixth and he’s in left field. Kobe Mayo in the lineup as a DH. He’ll hit seventh. Sammy Basio will do the catching and bat eighth. And Colton Cowser has finally been relegated down to hitting ninth in the order. He’ll play center field for the White Socks. Leading off in right field, Mike Tauman. Kyle Teal is the catcher, batting second. Lenine Sosa at first base will hit third. Coulson Montgomery, the shorts stop, is the cleanup hitter. Curtis Meade at third base batting fifth. Andrew Benenti will play left field and hit sixth. Edgar Quero, the DH, will bat seventh. Inning eighth is Chase Midroth. Midroth, not quite sure. I think it’s Midroth. Uh, Chase Midroth, second base, batting eighth. And is it Damian Fletcher? I think. No, Dominic. Dominic Fletcher is in center field and batting ninth. He’s two for 11 on the season playing for the White Socks. Can you blame me for not knowing who this guy is? Can Can you blame me for not knowing the number nine hitter on the White Socks who’s got 11 at bats on the season? Uh, all right. So, there’s your lineups pitching matchup. Uh, baseball is about to get ready, folks. Uh, let’s see what we’re looking at here. There it is. There is the skyline of Chicago. Chicago. Hey everybody, what’s your favorite Chicago song? Uh, Jackson Holidays in the on deck circle getting ready for this. Tyler Gilbert. Uh, so this is his fourth start, 42nd appearance overall, record of 4-1, a 4.17 RA, and again, uh, don’t expect him to be in the ball game more than a couple of innings. And yeah, we’re about ready for baseball, folks. 3,500 subscribers, folks. Let’s just do a little golf clap for that if you don’t mind. We just got there yesterday. Uh, it was a nice weekend for the channel. Uh, I want to thank the folks out there who follow the Blue Jays and I guess I was your best option. Uh, thanks for subscribing and uh, not unsubscribing after the series. I was expecting to see the numbers drop after the series ended, but uh, folks have chosen to stay on board and that’s fantastic. All right, here we go. Baseball is underway. Starting right now. The first pitch is in there for a strike. A sweeper from Gilbert. 0 and one on Holiday. Jackson is batting .253 with 17 homers and 55 driven in. Another Well, that’s a sinker. I guess I better watch this guy’s arsenal a little bit more before I feel confident enough to state which kind of pitch it is. A sinker for strike two. The count is 0 and2 on Holiday. And that ball sweeps across the plate outside for ball one on Holiday. All right, White Socks wearing their home pinstripes white with the black uh stripes. Holiday with a fly ball to left. This will be an easy first out. Ben and Tindy in left field makes the catch. One away. Orioles are wearing their road grays. So your standard jerseys are in play here tonight. Ben and Tindy in left field, Fletcher in center, Tauman in right for the White Socks. Curtis me at third, Montgomery at short, my Droth, Midroth, I’m going to say it differently every time. Second base, Sosa at first, and uh Teal behind the plate. Jeremiah Jackson, folks, Jeremiah. Uhoh. Jackson’s average is down to 285. He’s must have had a couple of overfers recently. That average has been swimming in the 300s ever since his callup. But uh I guess Jeremiah’s had a couple of overs. Let’s get him back into uh his hitting ways here. Uh one one pitch is fouled away. One ball, two strikes. How you doing everybody? Just waking up over here. I’ll check in with the Charm City chat here between innings and let’s work on getting the scoreboard up over here too. Hopefully that won’t be a problem tonight. The one-two pitch. Oh my. A bad swing from Jackson. Fast ball neck high and he swung at it. Missed. Two down in the inning. Wow. What Jeremiah was thinking there. I hope we haven’t seen the best of Jeremiah Jackson quickly fade away. That was a bad swing. Here’s Gunnar Henderson. First pitch as a front door sweeper for strike one. His name’s Gunnar and he’s dating my mom. What is going on over here? I gotta fix something here with this scoreboard. 01. That ball’s drilled out to right field. It sounded good off the bat going out onto the warning track right on the edge of the track. Fletcher makes the catch in right center field. Had a nice sound off the bat. It was a nice angle out toward the power alley. Uh but it dies right there on the edge of the track. The inning is over. Uh, top of the first, the Orioles don’t score. And bottom of the first, coming up with the White Socks. Uh, right. What was I going to do? Oh, well, now it looks normal. But then it just bounced off. What is it doing? What are you doing? I’ll go back over here then. As soon as I switched it over, it flipped away from All right. You want to play games, huh? gonna play games with me. Uh, oh well, I’ll play games. All right, there we go. Hey, Charm City chat. How the hell are you? Wait, my chat disconnected already. All right, before saying hello, how about a quick lag check, folks? I say a number, you type it in, we get an idea what kind of time we have between each other. Uh, please type in this number as quickly as possible. nine. Type in the number nine, send it in, and hopefully I’ll see it in about three, two, one. Show me a nine. All right, perfect. We’re okay. Uh, Matt is here. Gary, Danjo, Kurt, Froggy, Don, Rock, Michael, uh, Joshua. Happy Clemente day. Happy Clemente day to you there, Joshua. Roberto Clemente. I mean, he’s he’s on my Mount Rushmore. He’s on Mount Rushmore. If I had to pick the top four best players ever played this game, Clemente’s in my top four. I don’t even have to think about it. Um, Dennis is here. Michael Townley, who wants to bet me $500 million on something. Well, Michael, uh, do I need collateral? Cuz, uh, I’m not quite sure I got the the cash. Mike Tauman looks at strike one. We’re in the bottom of the first. Kyle Bradish. Next pitch, fast ball inside. One ball and one strike. Uh, bet you 500 million that someone will win the game. And if no one wins the game, then I’ll owe you 500 million and that’ll get me upset. Well, Michael, that’s a tough dilemma. Sorry about that. This pitch just a bit off the plate apparently. Looked like it hit the outside corner, but it’s called a ball. Two and one on Talkman. Check swing. We should appeal. Basio forgot to appeal. The home plate umpire thankfully did. And the third base sump said went. So, the count now, two balls, two strikes. Next pitch fouled away. Uh, who else is here? Bam. 6956. How you doing, Bam? George Ford’s here. Gary, did I get you already? Dennis Clayton is here. I’m quite sure everyone on the Orioles wants to win every game they play. Well, Dennis, you didn’t watch yesterday. I don’t know what else to tell you. Uh, and I don’t blame the players for not having their head in the game because if I knew what my manager had planned to try to quote unquote win a ball game, and that was to throw some dude who had no business being on the mound out there to get shelled and throw like 78 pitches just to DFA him the next day. You saw it coming before he was even taken out of the game. So, if I could see all that with my 4D glasses, I’m pretty sure the team saw that. And I’m pretty sure they felt like, well, damn, if the manager isn’t going to try to win this [ __ ] Uh, maybe I can take a mental health day off. That’s what it looked like to me there, Dennis. I don’t know. Uh, Billy, how are you doing, buddy? Kyle Teal is at the plate. He fouls the first pitch away. By the way, there’s a runner on base. Sorry, I got distracted for some unknown reason. How did Tman get on base? It just says no at bats in the game. What the hell happened? It’s 0 and2 now on Kyle Teal. Well, that didn’t take long to lose track. Turley, we have Okay, so he got walked. Talkman got walked. Sorry, guys. That pitch is in the dirt. A ball and two strikes. So, Bradish walked the leadoff, man. And that is uh not good. Hopefully, we can work around that. Uh Billy, did I get you already? I don’t know where I left off, folks. Daniel Barry’s here. Bobo is here. Carl is here. Disc golf is here and shyoke chapokei. I I I I wish I could remember your name right. There’s a called strike three to teal. He is rung up. First strike out for Bradish. First out for Bradish. [Applause] Well, y’all come back now. You hear? That was a fast ball at the bottom of the zone taken for strike three. Uh yeah, just phonetically remind me if if you want a William is here. Slider for a strike. Yoko is here. I think I got everybody. I’m sorry if I missed your name, but at some point I got to put calling the game as a priority here. Here’s a Lenin Sosa. He’s got an 01 count. Shy poke. Thank you. Thank you. Here’s a little dribbler up the first baseline foul. It’s 0 and2 on Lenin Sosa who’s sitting 263. White Socks have a runner at first and one out. Chai poke. Shy poke. Chai poke. Emphasis on the first syllable. Okay. Sosa is up to 20 home runs, 68 RBI. The O2 pitch, swing and a miss. My goodness, that slider broke down hard and Sosa with no chance to get a piece on that second strike out for Bradish. [Applause] Well, y’all come back now. Are you here? Man, I tell you what, Bradish’s pitches, some of those breaking pitches really break hard, don’t they? Here’s a check on the runner. And that was pretty close. Hawkman gets back in there as Coulson Montgomery steps up to the plate. Short stop, hitting 220 with 18 homers and 49 driven in. This guy came up through the Yankee farm, didn’t he? Isn’t this guy a Yankee? Let me Let me double check this. I want to say he started life as a Yankee. Maybe came over in one of the several trades the White Socks have been making these last couple of years, selling players off, getting prospects back. That’s a base hit into center field for Montgomery. It’ll drop in front of Kowzer out there in center for a two out single. Runners at first and second now for the White Socks. That ball 111 off the bat. And let’s see, 2021. No, no, he’s always been with Chicago. My apologies. My apologies. Coulson didn’t mean to slap the Yankee label on you. Uh we don’t have to we don’t have to sit here and completely despise you. Uh Curtis Meade at the plate. First pitch fouled straight back for strike one. Meade the third baseman hitting 244. Two on, two out. The 01 me breaking ball swung on and missed. A slider on the outside edge. What’s all this money? 8 to 10. 250. Alonzo. I don’t want Alonzo. Alonzo can hit 280. Can he? Can he? Hold on. If this dude’s hitting I know about the home runs. Are you telling me he’s got a 280 average to go along with it? Then uh yeah, I’m interested. I I’m not quite sure I believe it. Uh it’s one and two on Curtis Meade. Let’s see. Well, we’re looking at uh a lifetime average of 252. That ball’s hit out to right. That ball is going to fall down for a base hit. A run will come in to score. And the White Socks have taken the lead off of Kyle Bradish here in the first. Boy, oh boy. Two out rally for the White Socks. RBI single for Curtis Meade. Runners at the corners now with two down. Uh Alonzo, [Music] well, he’s never hit 280 in a year in his life, but apparently he’s a 280 hitter. Okay, he hit 271 once. That’s the only time he got to 270. Otherwise, it looks like 260 is a good year for him. He’s hit as low as 217 in a season, 231 in a season, 240 last year, but apparently he’s a 280 hitter. Okay. Uh, Andrew Benenti up here with a count now after a swing and a miss of one ball, one strike. Two down with runners at the corners. Ben and Tindy hitting .241, 19 homers and 60 RBI. The one-1 to Ben Tendy fouled off to the right. Hey. Oh, I thought that was a security guard. Somebody dressed in white socks gear, which is mostly black with some white or gray trim. They kind of look like an umpire or security guard. I’m like, wait a minute. They got the security guard now making foul ball plays. Might as well multitask. It’s one and two on Ben and Tendy. Pitch swung on and missed that ball in the dirt. We’ll have to throw to first to complete the out. And we do to end the inning. The White Socks do get the lead here with a couple of hits in the first inning. An RBI single out the bat of Curtis Meade. Two men left on. At the end of one, the White Socks lead it one to nothing. 260 and 40 home runs consistently is pretty damn good. Yeah, sure. Yeah. I mean, Pete Alonzo is a name people know for a reason. I get it. Pete Alonzo, you know, has a space batting cleanup on a good team somewhere, right? I’m just I’m not a huge fan. I’m not a huge fan. Uh mainly because I I don’t feel like we have to worry about first base, honestly. I I think we need to put our focus on the outfield. Now, I understand Alonzo is probably the biggest bat in the free agent market. So, you’re look, if you’re looking at free agents, that’s attractive, right? But I think it’s in the Orioles best interest to trade for a right-handed outfield bat this off season. We always talk about trading for pitching. Elias, you know, couldn’t do it last season when we needed it. He did pull off that one-year rental for Burns two years back. And I’m I’m okay with a deal like that. I really am. Um, but it seems like the way I’m looking at the free agents that are going to be available this winter, there are some started starting pitchers out there that may not be like ace ace that you’re going to pay 300, 400, 500 million for for 10 years or whatever the hell. Um, but there’s some decent ones like Ranger Suarez is a name I think we’ve talked about a couple of times for the Phillies left-hander. He’s solid. Uh, he could probably be had for, you know, a 22.5 million per year, 25 million per year kind of a deal. Hopefully no longer than four years or something like that. I mean, that’s what I’d like to target. Something in that range. because yeah, I I think this team for position players, the biggest need a right-handed outfield bat, everyday player, middle of the order guy, and a veteran, a guy that can give this team some leadership. And when I look at the free agent pool out there, uh there aren’t many names that fit uh those that checks those boxes. Shawn Burke is on the pitch here in the second inning. So, we just got one inning out of Tyler Gilbert. And speaking of Tyler, O’Neal is up at the plate to hit. And the count right now is a ball and two strikes after a curveball just hit the zone for strike two. Another curve ball just a bit outside. Two and two on Popeye. Ahoy there. Anybody home? All right. the 22. That one’s lifted into right center, but shaded toward right center is the center fielder. Uh, who was that out there? I can’t remember these White Socks. I don’t know them well. Fletcher. Dominic Fletcher. Okay. Number nine batter. 11 at bats on the season. Playing center field. I got it. All right. Not going to forget again. So Shawn Burke is on in relief. Uh Ryan Malcastle’s up now. One out, nobody on. Okay, not up. And he drills one. Oh, it goes foul. Ryan Malcastle out in front of a pitch. He got the barrel on that, but a little bit early. Gilbert just threw 10 pitches in that first inning. And that’s that’s his night done. The 01 fouled back. It’s 0 and2. Imagine that. You start a game, you throw 10 pitches, you get three outs, you take a shower, and now you get to just hang out in the dugout for the rest of the game knowing you did your part. 0 and2 on Mount Castle. That pitch is up and away. One ball and two strikes. Mounty’s hitting 256. Hey, here’s the first panorama view of the ballpark. Upper deck is completely empty. Brown ball to short and Mount Castle will be thrown out by Montgomery for the second out here in the top of the second. So looking at Burke, let’s see here. He’s got a record of 4 and 10, a 4.35 ERA. He’s made 21 starts on the season. This is his fifth time coming on in relief. Dylan Beavers is at the plate, folks. Nice, Beaver. Thank you. He takes a first pitch curve ball high. Ball one. Beavers batting 282 with a homer and eight driven in. That ball’s popped up left field. Ben and Tindy waiting and he makes the catch. Beavers is out quickly and this inning ends pretty quickly. We go to the bottom of the second. Nothing happening for Baltimore yet. It’s one- nothing Chicago. So you have Burke on the mound. He’s gone 122 innings before this one. Uh with a 4.35 erra, a 1.47 47 whip. Uh 58 walks in 122 innings is a lot. That’s nearly one every other inning. So maybe we do a better job than that first inning of uh you know working the count a little more, seeing some pitches. Beavers even made a two pitch out there. That’s not very Beaversish. I get worried if I see Dylan Beavers making a quick out. That means something is wrong, folks. All right. Uh, anybody happen to catch the uh, little video I put out last night? I planned on it being five minutes, 10 10 minutes tops, and I think it wound up being about 20 minutes. Uh, sorry for being long- winded with my little message video, but uh, if you didn’t see it, just uh, a few announcements. One, you know, season 3 for the channel, it will be attempted. It will it’ll be here at the beginning of the season. Uh, but I’m not sure if it’s going to be able to last all the way through. It kind of depends on how well the channel is growing. I have to have to take a look. Uh secondly, if you hadn’t heard, uh after the season ends, we get into the postseason. I will be calling some uh postseason games. I don’t know what games yet. Obviously, we nobody knows because we don’t know the matchups and the brackets and all that yet. But I mean, I don’t have any specific team I’m trying to, you know, call games for. Mainly going to pick games that start 7:00 Eastern or later. That way I can stop waking up at 2 in the morning. Call a game. Uh, first pitch of the bottom of the second is a strike to Edgar Quero, who’s dhing tonight. And there’s a swing and a miss. It’s 0 and2. Quero batting 282. So yeah, more games to be called in October. Playoff games jumping around. Hopefully we’ll get some good ones and all of the World Series games, I would think. Swing and a miss. Quero three pitch strikeout. See you later. [Applause] Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Well, y’all come back now. You hear? All right. So, in October, I have to leave the country to do my, you know, living abroad uh yearly pilgrimage. That’s going to be a few days. So, that’ll interrupt uh calling those games in the middle of October, somewhere between the end of the division round and the start of the championship series round. uh might miss a couple of games in there, but otherwise I’ll be here for the all the World Series, all the wild card games. I’m not saying I’m calling all the wild card games, but I mean, I’ll be here to cherrypick the ones that uh are worth calling. Chase Midroth is up at the plate. He’s got a count of two and 0. One out, nobody on. He’s got a 10ame hitting streak at the moment, batting 269. And that’s a line drive. Base hit into left field. Now it’s an 11game hit streak for Midroth. A one out single to left. 102 off the bat. Uh, and the other uh announcement, again, it’s not a uh debut announcement, just trying to put it on record, and I’m probably going to make a promo or, you know, a a shorter little video about it. But, uh, after calling the October games, uh, in the winter, this channel will, uh, be a gaming channel, still oral themed. Uh Dominic Fletcher takes a called strike from Bradish. It’s 0 and one again. Fletcher just 11 at bats on the season. A couple of hits. 182 the average. 01 is foul. No. Did he get a piece? No, he just plain missed it. It’s 0 and2. So yeah, I’ll be playing MLB the show uh throughout the winter uh running an Orioles franchise kind of kind of uh you know, hey Elias, watch what happens when I take over the team kind of a experiment. Going to be fun. I know it’s going to be fun because I play the game sitting here by myself and uh I enjoy how much the game drives me crazy. H you think the umpires are bad in real life. Here’s a ground ball to Gunner. Could be two to Jackson for one over to first. Two. A double play. [Music] All right. Good old 64 D 643 double play ball. That was close there on that return throw to first. No uh challenge or anything though. We are out of the inning. We go now to the What are we going now to? We go now to the second inning. Is that right? No, third inning. Sorry, we’re going to the third inning. It’s one- nothing White Socks. Sorry, folks. Coffee is here. Now I need a lucky. Then I’ll be awake. EA is working on a new AAA baseball game that will be re released in the future. Oh, it’d be nice if they released it on PS4 because that’s what I’m still rocking. They stopped putting the show out on PS4 this year, which really annoys me because I know so many people like of the people I know out there that have a PlayStation right now, it’s about 5050. About half the people I know have, you know, graduated to the PS5 by now, but still about half the people I know haven’t, and I’m one of them. I don’t know why they didn’t make a version of the game for the PS4, but uh that’s the beauty of updates, live roster updates that are uploaded by uh fans or whatever. They just sit there and and take the attributes of whatever the current game is and uh make a a roster that they can upload and then you can download it, put it right into your game. And the graphics are virtually identical. I mean, that’s really not that big of a difference year to year. I’m sure the PS5 looks a little sleeker, but for the purposes of uh my channel, uh it’s going to be just fine. Just fine. All right, Kobe Mayo is going to lead off for Baltimore. Burke goes back to work and a curveball to Mayo for strike one. Begin this at bat. Kobe with a couple of home runs in recent days. 193 average, nine homers, 24 driven in. Let’s get it all on there. Just spread it out. He checks a swing on a pitch up and in. And the count is one and one. So, it is Clemente day. I can see the 21 patch on the jerseys of the players. It’s quite small. Not easy to see. There it is. Okay, that’s a better look. That blends in on the White Socks shirts. Easier to see on the Orio players. 2-1 pitch. Check swing foul. It’s two and two. They’re moving on to an entirely new generation of consoles in 2028. Well, then yeah. Why would I even bother investing in a PS5 now? I’m telling you right now, folks. I watched a couple of videos on this. Like, there’s only so much more real like improvement that can be made on graphics. Uh Mayo takes a called strike three. Burst out here in the top of the third. Pitch hit the bottom of the zone. uh you know just you know and without an entirely new technology you know basic the tech that’s in place and and the sort of building off of it uh it’s it’s basically peaked from what I can see. So I don’t even think I’m worried about whatever is coming out in 2028. Uh Sammy Basio, first pitch, strike one on a foul ball. Come on, Sammy. And now it’s 0 and two. He swung and missed at a change up. Sammy. Yeah, I I enjoy for the most part playing the older games on like a one of those uh what do you call them? Emulators. Curveball fouled away by Basio. A buddy of mine that used to live over here with me uh had an emulator that had all the NES games, Super Nintendo games, uh and and a couple of other platforms. all of them on one little like 4 oz little like uh artificial looking like NES uh device the console and yeah just like a little USB plugin and boom you’re playing like every game that took up like 20 boxes of games. Here’s a popup by Basio and Foul Ground left side. Nobody can get to it. It is still 0 and2 on Sammy. One out, nobody on top of the third. Orioles are still looking for their first base runner here tonight. Remember then remember this. When a future car style open game is finally released, it will more than likely be released for the current and next gen if not. Wow, William, I tried to track. I tried to track with that comment. I’ll try one more time. One and two the count right now on Basio. That one bounces and gets away. Nobody on base to worry about. Two and two. Uh the hardware out is pretty much peak for the software they’re making, but even now some new games are stressing the latest hardware. Yeah. And then like you know everybody wants to get Grand Theft Auto and and look I I love playing GTA over the years. I mean that game came out when I was like in my early 20s. I remember playing the first version of it all the way up until now. Here’s a pitch in the dirt and Basio. Did he swing? You’re kidding me. No. Okay. Visio’s on base after a check swing on a full count. We’ve got ball four. All right. All right. Yeah. So, I mean, like before the PS5 even came out, I was like, “All right, there’s going to be a new GTA for the PS5.” How long’s the PS5 been out? Are we still waiting on this game? And now you’re telling me we’re like 2 and 1/2 years away for moving on to the next one. So, are they already just working on the next one now? I I don’t know. It’s just Give me a game that’s playable. Like, hurry up and release it. Let’s go. Time’s running out for an old man like me. I don’t have time for this. I want to pick it up and play. Uh, Coltton Cowser, folks, get your cows up in the chat. Shy pokes already in. Wrong button. Wrong button. There we go. Pitch up and Cowser swung at it. They checked it, but he didn’t. He went around. They appealed it. Gh. Terrible first. Terrible first swing there. ET, are you talking about Atari? I mean, they rushed a lot of stuff out back then. Haven’t you ever seen Ber Snatch? Any Black Mirror fans here? I hope so. Here’s a curveball. That’s a called strike, too. I don’t care what anybody says. ET. I don’t care if there’s a giant landfill in Arizona apparently with like 50,000 cartridges of ET buried in a landfill. I had that game and I enjoyed it and I beat the damn thing. Oh, I’ll never forget getting lifted off by the mother ship going, “Oh my god, I beat I beat ET.” Uh 0 and2 on Cowser. That ball is bowled away. I mean, I think I beat it. Shy Poke. It’s kind of hard to tell. I mean, it’s original Atari. You don’t get the payoff of like a Hey, you won the game. Here’s a big epilogue to give you that satisfaction of spending so much time. No, it’s just like a little mother ship comes down, lifts ET up, and it might have said the end or something. That’s all you would get back then. Uh Colton Cowser has got a ball and two strikes. Well, he’s got two balls, but at the plate that’s one ball, two strikes. I mean, I don’t know. I can’t confirm one or the other, but I’m assuming. I guess I’m assuming too much. The count is two and two. Runner at first, one out. Come on, Orioles. We got our first base runner on here. Let’s do something with this two- two pitch. That ball’s hit hard down the right field corner, but foul. I don’t know if they’re just mking the home plate area really well here in Chicago or what, but uh the crack of the bat making contact with the pitch sounds really crisp. So, if I’ve got any compliments to pay the White Socks and their venue here, apparently uh good acoustics. It’s two and two on Cowser, folks. Long at bat right here. Here comes the next pitch. Oh my god. He swung at a letter high fast ball and strikes out. Cowser strikes out again. Dog crap. Where the ump stood when he threw out a grasshopper. Mac, I love that story. An ump stepping in dog dew. Jackson Holiday first pitch is outside for ball one. I know, right, Matt? I know. Late 40s is a weird age to be. I mean, if you’re if you’re like the pinnacle of health, I mean, Tom Brady and I are like a month apart in age. I don’t think Tom Brady thinks about his age the way that I do because you know, oh my god, there is like a big old dog in the ballpark here and that dog is after something. Maybe my phone number. No, not that kind of dog. Uh 3-0 on Holiday. Two down, runner at first. Here comes the pitch. Ball four. Take your base, Jackson. I’m walking here. I’m walking here. Burke losing control. Oh, we’re It’s the White Socks. I think we’re hopefully watching normal normal practices right now. Here comes Jeremiah Jackson. [Applause] And that is not the bullfrog. That is the bull pen. I can’t even read my own soundboard anymore. Bullfrog. Thank you. First pitch. Curve balls swung on and missed. Come on, Jeremiah. You’ve been over for your last something. That average down in the 280 mark. 283 at the moment. Swinging a miss. He chased a bad one there. Boy, I hope he doesn’t lose that mojo. been a pleasant surprise here these last couple of months but uh yeah it doesn’t last forever for everybody for anybody. Uh O2 pitch up the middle that’s a base hit Jeremiah on an O2 pitch. Basio chugs home. Holiday goes to third and Jeremiah with the base running acumen to get to second as the White Socks throw it around. The Orioles have tied it up on an RBI single from Jeremiah Jackson. The bullfrog. [Music] Ah, that was too good of a pitch for an 02 count and Jeremiah took advantage. Here’s Gunner. That is inside for ball one. [Music] Splish. The 10. Swinging a miss. Fast ball. Top of the zone. Belt high. Gunner missed it. One ball, one strike. His name’s Gunner and he’s dating my mom. Runners at second and third with two down. A hit here would really be nice. We’ll take the lead. Pitch rounded foul first base side. It’s one and two. Chai poke with a super chat. And now I’m confidently saying the name. Where is the uh message button? Message for you, son. Nice. Message for you, son. It’s one and two on Gunner Burke from the belt. And now he steps off. Shy Poke says, “For good luck for the win.” Thank you, Shy Poke. Now, if this works, you do realize that next season you’re going to have to commit $4 every game. So, we can go 162 and 0 or at least, I don’t know, 100 games. That’s fair. That’s just 400 bucks. $400 to to uh to guarantee a 101 season. Broken bat. Look out. Good grief. A ground ball to first as the bat explodes with a lethal weapon. Uh helicoptering out there towards second base. Uh nobody is injured on that. Uh, the inning is over as the first baseman Sosa will take it to the bag unassisted, but the Orioles tie it up. Yes, we did. Yes, we did. Yes, you did. Uh, Jeremiah Jackson, his 19th RBI of the season. A two out RBI knock makes it a one-1 ball game. We’re going to the bottom of the third. All right. Super chats. Hey folks, like button time. How you doing? We got 84 people here right now. Uh this might be a lowly attended uh series. I think you can understand why. It’s the weekday. Uh we’re playing a crappy team with no stars on it and our season is uh you know pretty much decided. And what’s the point of watching for a lot of people, right? So, for those of you that are here, we all got to really work to get those likes up to 100 on these next few games. I feel it’s going to take everybody’s help. So, please, if you haven’t hit that thumbs up at the bottom of your screen, go ahead and do it now. And uh the next one will get us to 60. And uh hopefully we’ll keep on chugging. All right, just in advance, I apologize for bringing up the like count a couple more times tonight. All right, let me uh grab something and uh I’ll be right back. Thank you. [Music] [Music] He met a strange friend in the Chesapeake Bay when All right, we’re back underway in the bottom of the third. It’s a two-0 count on Mike Tauman. Bradish falls behind the leadoff man. Two and0. Tauman walked his first time up. That pitch is in the dirt. It’s 3 and 0. 3 and 0. Orioles just tied it back up in the previous half inning. Bradish hasn’t thrown a strike yet. And that is ball four. Second time Bradish in three innings has issued a leadoff walk to Mike Tauman. I am rather certain that is not what he wanted to do. Three hits and two walks for Bradish through two innings plus a batter. Here’s Kyle Teal and a swing and a miss on a sinker that ended up a little bit outside. 0 and one on Teal. Called strike on the inside edge. It’s 0 and2. Met a strange friend. Gunner did not hit a homer. Say what? I’m absolutely lost. Swing and a miss. And no need for Teal to run down to first. The out is made at the plate. It’s another strike out for Bradish. Kyle Teal goes back to sit down. [Applause] Well, y’all come back now. You hear? All right. Another punch out for Bradish. Here’s Lenin Sosa. takes a slider outside. Sosa struck out his first time up. 10 pitch and on the hands and that one’s out to right field near the foul line. It’ll drop and foul ground. Tyler O’Neal ran it down but could not get there in time to make a catch. That’ll be strike one. It’s a 1-1 count. Runner at first, one down. One-1 ball game in the bottom of the third. and a loud motorcycle driving by my apartment window. Sosa was out of the box for a minute. He’s back in there. Bradish has his sign. And here is the 1-1 swing and a miss. Oh, he chased a slider. Did Sosa that hard break if you think it’s a fast ball or something? Man, that slider can make you look bad. One two pitch goes back to it. Does Bradish started it way too outside this time. didn’t have that effect that you want. Sosa lays off. It’s two and two. Basio setting up 6 in outside. The pitch is up and a swing and a miss. I’ve been noticing this from Basio. He seems to set up a target that isn’t the actual target as if to perhaps try to trick the batter. I’ve seen this a lot from Bisio. I got to think this is something that he likes to do. Sosa strikes out. [Applause] Well, y’all come back now. You hear uh right there. That pitch is middle of the plate. And just keep an eye on Bio and where he sets his target. often times, not every time, but often times it’ll like right now he’s way inside and that that is right there on the inside edge for strike two. But, uh, he’s keeping Yeah, we’re looking at a replay of this other pitch. Look where he sets up and look where the pitch winds up right there. If you’re watching the replay, that’s what I’m talking about. Hey, Andrea’s back. Folks, I know what framing is, Froggy. And no, I’m not talking about framing at all. I’m not talking about framing. Framing is when a pitch is on the borderline. It’s not really a strike, but the catcher just adjusts his glove and tries to frame it by just whipping it into a spot to trick the umpire into thinking it’s a strike. I’m not talking about framing. I’m talking about setting up in a completely different place than where you’re intending the pitch to show up. And that’s not usually what catchers do. Usually they set up a target for the pitcher, you know, to aim for. But Bio’s not doing that. Uh two and two the count on Montgomery. That pitch is high. It’s a full count. Again, I’m not trying to be bossy or anything. Just watch what I’m talking about and you you’ll see. Uh I’ve just, you know, I I was going to mention it before that most recent example. Uh but I felt like I needed to see it happen more in order to make a statement like, “Yeah, that’s something Bisayio seems to do.” and it seems to be something he does and you know it so far it doesn’t seem to be an issue. There goes the runner from first. Pitch is low and away for ball four. Montgomery draws a two out walk. Two walks in the inning from Bradish. There’s two down and here comes Curtis Meade who knocked in the White Socks only run of the night. his first time up. RBI single from me in the first now with a chance to give the Socks the lead a second time with two on and two out like right there. Now on that pitch, Bay Pay didn’t even give a target. Assessiah was just kind of kneeling and his glove wasn’t even up and then not until Bradish was going into his delivery did he get ready to receive it. It’s It’s interesting to watch. Now he’s up and in, but now the target goes down. You see You see what I’m talking about? So this is definitely by design. And I think the only real, you know, idea here is to try to catch, you know, whether it’s the batter or somebody at second relaying signs. There is a runner at second right now. There’s been a lot of sign stealing around baseball in uh recent times. And maybe this is something to help uh prevent that. It’s 0 and2 on Curtis Meade. That pitch is low. It’s a ball and two strikes. One-1 ball game. Bottom of the third. White Socks with first and second. Two down. The one two to Curtis me from Bradish. Swing and a miss. A slider. Another filthy one. See you later. [Applause] Well, you all come back now. You hear? Hit the bricks, pal. You’re done. Hit the bricks, pal. You’re done. You get nothing. You lose. Good day, sir. How about this? Peace dope. Now get the hell out of here. Well, when you I say when you got to go, you got to go. All right. Bradish has got the strikeout pitch working. He’s been giving up walks as well, though. Uh so far, it hasn’t come back to bite him too much. I mean, the one run that scored is a walk. Uh that was Tman coming in to score after getting walked to lead off the ball game in the bottom of the first. Uh but Bradish if he can get the you know he just feel like a little adjustment and he’ll be all right. You know usually the control for him isn’t too much of an issue. 56 pitches through three innings uh and seven strikeouts. Seven of the nine outs recorded by strikeout. Not too shabby for Bradish. Yeah, William. We’ve actually talked about it, I think, twice now. It is Roberto Clemente day. One of the very best. If you didn’t hear it, I said already if I’m making a Mount Rushmore of who I feel the best all-time greats this game has ever seen, I only get four spots. I don’t have to think about, well, I’m about No, Clemente is one of those. He gets one. He He’s one. It’s uh you know goes without saying it’s tragic that uh he passed the way he did particularly when he was all he was trying to do was help people and uh you know it cut down half of his career along with his life. Very very sad but he was something special. Did I actually just turn my head and Tyler O’Neal already made an out? Tyler O’Neal makes an out because I looked away for two seconds. I guess it was a one pitch out. You kidding me? Good grief. Come on, Tyler. Help out the team, please. Uh, what did he do there? Round it out to shortstop, folks. O’Neal grounds out six to three. Ryan Mount Castle’s up. He’s got a 10-0 count. Next pitch is fouled behind the plate. And it’s a ball and a strike on Mounty Mounty. Okay, mount up the 1-1 fast ball top of the zone and fouled away. Oh yeah. No, no worries. No worries about Yeah. Here we go. One and two on Mount Castle. Pitch inside. Two balls, two strikes. Mound up. Here’s a line drive. Base hit into left field. Is rolling near the track. Mount Castle’s not going to try for two though. He will be satisfied with a one-out single. That ball just under 100 miles an hour off the bat. Line drive to left for Mounty. We’ve got the go-ahead run on base. Notice how I didn’t say would be go-ahad run or potential go-ahad run. Just go ahead and run for my friend Matt like or whatever the hell his name was. Dylan Beavers, folks, first pitch just catches the inside edge for a strike. Show me your beavers. Charm City chat. Nice beaver. Thank you. Oh, a lovely beaver on shy poke. That is I’ve got double vision. This pitch fouled back. It’s 0 and2 on Beavers. Got Bush. We’ve got Bush. All right, Burk. steps off the rubber to reset. We got an 02 count on Beavers. Runner at first, one down. No, Michael, I think McDermott has been groomed to be be a reliever now. So, you you’ll very likely see him pitching in relief. We’ve already got a six-man rotation set up and I don’t think McDermad is here now to knock one of those names off of that list. He’s uh he’s been working as a reliever down in Norol and been effective in that role. Something like a 157 erra and like 13 or 14 appearances as a reliever, something like that. It’s two and two now on Beavers, folks. [Music] The pitch curve ball and Beavers got frozen. My oh my. Beavers gave up on a curveball that like most do start above the zone. did not see the uh the hump on this pitch and he is caught looking for strike three. Two down in the inning. Kobe Mayo up. Just get it all on there. Just spread it out. Another G curve ball just like the one that Beavers took. Strike one on Mayo. A beaver freezer. Folks, if you ever meet a beaver freezer, you’re probably going to want to want to break up with her. One on Kobe Mayo. Mount Castle at first with two down. One-1 ball game. Top of the fourth. pitch, swing, and a foul. It’s one and two. One and two. You know why Beavers hasn’t gotten on base yet tonight? Because normally when he comes up to hit, I say, “Dylan Beavers, all he does is get on base.” And I I’ve forgotten to do that. That’s why we’re having problems. Here’s a fast ball at 97. fouled away. It’s one and two on Mayo. Two down. The pitch up and that got Mayo on the hand. Kobe Mayo gets it on the left hand. He goes into a crouch for a half a second and now he’s bent over at the waist. Pretty much asking for the trainer to come out here. How bad is it, Kobe? Talk to me. We’re going to have runners at first and second with two down after Mayo takes a pitch off his left hand. trainers out there doing the typical uh pressure point uh little check to see if something’s broken right now. I would say no. Mayo doesn’t appear to be in too much pain. Looks like he’s going to stay in the ball game. Was Clemente really 38? I thought he was younger. God, it felt like he was still one of the best players in in the game when uh his uh career got uh cut short. But I guess that’s right. Takes a while to get to 3,000 hits. Here’s Sammy Basio. All right, folks. Bugle time. Come on. Two on, two out. Basiah walked his first time. He’s got a count of a ball and no strikes. The pitch fouled back. One and one. [Music] All right. Here’s the 1-1 to Basio. Up and in. He fouls it back. Fouled back. One ball, two strikes. Come on, Sammy. Got two ducks out there on the pond and a tie ball game. Big hit here. Go a long way. Come on. Pitch. Here’s a curveball hit on the ground to second. That’s going to end the inning. Routine grounder. Four to three on the put out. Two men left on for Baltimore. Both teams now with four men left on base. And we are still knotted up at one as we go to the bottom of the fourth. Be right back, folks. Don’t goo anywhere. It’s probably good advice. Oh, let me do that while I’m thinking about it. All right, I’m happy that I remembered to do this. Uh, let me do a quick read for playbyplay with JJ’s uh upcoming uh charity event on his channel. I’ve got the write up for it here somewhere. Uh, for those of you who haven’t heard, JJ will be hosting his very first fundraising stream September 18th and 19th, so a few days away. Uh, raising money for the Familial Dysotenomia Foundation in honor of his brother Mitchell who passed away from this disorder five years ago. Um JJ’s going to be streaming all day. 15 hours of streaming on the first of these two days starting on the 18th and then another about seven hours or so, seven, eight hours on day two. Um so do me a favor. uh if we’re streaming when we’re on during those days, if we got a game on, we’re going to uh drop a link in and try to send you folks over there live to uh uh help support the cause. Of course, you know, it’s optional, completely up to you. Uh all donations will go directly to the Familial Dysotenomia Foundation, which funds medical research, patient care, and support programs for families. uh living with FD. Uh Andrew Benendi is at the plate and Bradish once again falling behind the leadoff man. It’s 2 and 0 on Benanti. Uh for more information about familial dysotenomia, here’s a link in the charm city chat right now. All right, great. It’s now 3 and 0. Three and 0 to the leadoff man. We’ve been down this road twice before. That is ball four. For the third time in four innings and for the second time on just four pitches, Kyle Bradish walks the leadoff batter. We can’t keep getting away with this. What is the deal with Bradish facing the leadoff man tonight? Uh, thanks Shy Poke. Next Thursday. Well, it’s a two-day thing. So, what are we talking about? 18th and 19th or Thursday and Friday nights or th actually all day, I guess, right? Actually, no. It’s this it’s this Thursday. Shy Poke. The 18th is only a couple of days away. Just a couple of days away. Uh, one ball, one strike on Quero. He’s up there with a runner at first, nobody out. Pitch fouled away. Count is one and two on Quero. He’s 0 for one. 63 pitches for Bradish. He’s gotten nine outs, seven them by strikeout, but uh he’s also been struggling with his command. The one two hit on the ground could be two. Holiday flip to Gunner over to first. A tailor made double play. [Music] It takes two to make it out of sight. Hit it. I want to rock right now. I’m BW and I came to get down. I’m not internationally known, but I’m known to rock a microphone. All right, two away. Nobody on. Chase Midroth at the plate. He’s got a hit on the night. Fast ball high for ball one. So that’s Bradish’s plan. Just walk the first guy so you can get a double play on the next guy. It’s all part of the grand design. 10 pitch curve ball top of the zone for a strike. One and one. One and one. Uno uno. Hit on the ground. Foul by Midroth. One ball, two strikes. Shake that booty. Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake. Man, there’s a dude sitting right behind the dugout first row and he’s eating a bag of Lays potato chips. Like, dude, really? That’s your go-to ballpark snack. A bag of potato chips. Here’s a popup shallow center. Cowser coming in. He makes the catch and the inning is over. Kyle Bradish, another leadoff walk, but it’s quickly erased with a double play ball. He faces the minimum three batters. We go to the fifth inning, tied at one. BW beat Weaver. What are you talking about? Earl Weaver. I would never beat Earl Weaver. I can’t beat Earl Weaver at anything except height. It’s about it. But then again, a lot of people are beating Earl in that one, folks. 75 likes. Let’s goo. 76. Let’s go. Lays turn to dust. I open a bag only to find out that it’s half full of air. All my chips crumble on the counter when I pour them out. Dust in the bag. All it is is dust in the bag. Same old snack. Just another ripoff from the convenience store. Why do I eat this crap? Maybe I should try a piece of celery. Dust in the bag. All I have is dust in the bag. [Music] Sorry. Yeah, I was going to get a deal from Lays, but I blew it. Colton Cowser’s at the plate. 01 count. Ball hitting the air to left down deep into the corner and the left fielder Benanti reached it but could not haul it in there along the uh sidewall down the left field foul line. It’s 0 and2 on Cowser. Can we make him not strike out? [Music] Hey, thanks for inspiring another, you know, improvd song on the spot. Dust in the bag, folks. Single available now at your local record store. If you don’t know what a record store is, it’s this extinct uh business that was normally found next to a bookstore, which also doesn’t exist anymore either. Uh 0 and2 the count. Who’s up? Cowser still. Okay. 02 pitch. Low and in one ball, two strikes. [Music] Cowser leading out the top of the fifth with a one two pitch coming his way and a curveball. My goodness, that was a strike. Cowser off the hook. He’s got himself a free swing. Just think about it that way, my man. Free swing. Two two pitch up and in. Full count. Umpire really blew it on that curveball call. That was definitely strike three. [Music] Payoff pitch. Curve ball. He’s frozen. My goodness. Colton Cowser, man. He just cannot figure it out right now. One away. Here’s Holiday. And when I say right now, I mean like I don’t know since mid August or something. Uh Holiday fouls the first pitch he gets back. It’s 0 and one on Holiday. [Music] One out, nobody on. Top of the fifth. Right in there for a strike. It’s 0 and two. 02. That’s a comebacker. Burke falls to the ground, throws from his knees, and gets Holiday. Burke with a smile on his face as he takes a tumble, fielding this comebacker off the mound. But you know, you’re on the White Socks. You need a laugh. Holidays retired. Jeremiah Jackson. Jeremiah Burks on 74 pitches since coming in the second inning. First pitch to Jeremiah is very high for ball one. Jackson with the RBI base hit. His last time up. Clutch two out single to give us a tie game. 10 curveball. Man, this umpire is not helping Burke out with a really nice cur. I mean, that curveball has gotten a lot of outs, but whenever he hits the bottom of the zone with it, the ump is not calling it. It’s a good pitch. 20 check swing. Jackson does not go. It’s 3 and 0. 3 and 0 with Gunnar Henderson on deck. And that’s a four pitch walk. Jeremiah, take your base, son. [Music] I’m walking here. I’m walking here. So Jeremiah off of Burke tonight. with a base hit up the middle on an 02 count and now he draws a walk. Good work. Here’s Gunner. Two down, runner at first. Burke checks on Jeremiah. He’s back in there. 0 for two for Gunner so far tonight. He almost hit one out. Really hit it well off the bat, but died on the track. Fast ball up and away. One and0. [Music] One and0. The count pitch on the inside edge. Count even at a ball and a strike. Folks, we finally got about a 100red people in the room. Be sure to tap that thumbs up at the bottom of your screen if you don’t mind. Please hit the like. Help out the channel. Enjoy the call. We got a 1-1 count on Gunner. Two down, runner at first. And Burke steps off the rubber. One-1 ball game. White Socks with their run in the first. The Orioles with their run in the third. Here’s the one-1 pitch. Check swing on a curve ball low and in. Two and one. Come on, Charm. City chat. [Music] The 2-1 very high three in one. [Music] Burke has got to be nearing the end of his rope here on 82 pitches coming into the ball game in the second inning. 3-1 is a strike. Gunner was turning toward first. Why? I don’t know. That pitch was a strike all day. I mean, the width of two baseballs from any direction, from hitting the corner of any zone. Like, come on, Gunner. 3-2 pitch. Lays off ball four, folks. Gunner takes a walk. [Music] I’m walking here. I’m walking here. Curve ball that wound up near the feet of Gunner for ball four. Two on with two out. and Tyler O’Neal. All right, Tyler. Buddy, please do something productive in this situation. Ahoy there. Anybody home? Come on, buddy. You’re making like a million dollars a hit on this team. Could you maybe get one here? Honestly, you think a live bugle will help? All right, hold on. It’s been a while. I’m only doing that because it’s after 8:00 a.m. over here and I’m thinking maybe I can get away with it. All right, Tyler O’Neal, will you help us? Help us help you. Help us help you. First pitch, curveball low. It’s 1 and0. And again, Burke is not getting that curveball low called at the bottom of the zone. The 10 to O’Neal. Come on, dude. That’s high with the heater. Two balls, no strikes. Folks, do you believe in me? [Music] The 20. That one’s crushed. Stay fair. Stay fair. It’s foul. Oh my. Two balls, one strike. All right, Tyler. You can’t tease us like that and not do something. Come on, buddy. The 2-1. Burke waiting a long time and now he steps off the rubber. CRUD. Folks, I got a new line of Cologne coming out. It’s called CRUD. It’s really good. Pick it up. Two-1 pitch. Curve ball hits the outside corner. It’s knotted up at two balls and two strikes. Two down with two men on base. This will be the 89th pitch from Burke. Come on, Tyler. Please, man. Come on, man. Two-2 line drive, but right to short. They go to second for the force. A one hop liner to short. It was hit hard, but nothing nothing out of that. We get nothing. [Music] Big [ __ ] Stop it. I apologize for Baltimore. So, it’s it’s not the best option, but it just is what it is. What was that? It was bad. It It had nothing. No fire, no energy, no nothing. So, it’s it’s not the best option, but it just is what it is. What was that? It was bad. It it had nothing. No fire, no energy, no nothing. So, it’s it’s not the best option, but it just is what it is. Just is what it is, folks. Don’t bother trying to explain it or excuse it away. It just is what it is. It is what it is. Isn’t it the best, folks? What a way to never explain anything. go with that answer. If you never want to actually explain something, if you never want to reveal the truth about something, please just let people know it is what it is. It worked for Roger Clemens in front of a congressional hearing, right? That’s like the first time I ever heard that phrase was when it was either Clemens or whichever doctor, I forget the name of the guy that was stabbing him with needles in his ass for however long, you know, whoever is like, you know, coming at them with the hard questions. And it was just the same repeated response. I mean, it is what it is. uh uh you know, and I remember thinking at the time watching that like how how can that be an answer to anything and I don’t remember ever hearing that phrase before those congressional hearings about performance-enhancing drugs taken by Major League Baseball players. And ever since I hear it all the time, and it’s just the most empty, nothing of a statement you can possibly make. Fletcher first pitch swinging crushes one down the right field line. If that’s fair, I’m pissed. That ball is just foul. Dominic Fletcher nearly hit a first pitch in the bottom of the fifth. Down the right field line fair. The White Socks are seeing if they want to have this looked at and they wave and say, “No, we can tell it is foul.” And it is just foul, folks. Wow. That you can almost see the shadow of the ball on the pole as it passes it by. So, Bradish just avoids giving up the lead by inches. And the count is 0 and1 on Fletcher. It depends on what your definition of is is. Well, that’s what I felt. I mean, when I first heard that phrase, I’m like, what are you saying it? I mean, a lamp is a lamp, right? A lamp is what it is. A lamp is a lamp. Uh you put a light bulb in it, you turn it on, uh it brightens up a room. It is what it is. So what are you adding by the saying that I am what I am? Oh, wait. Now I’m Popeye. Get it? Ahoy there. Anybody home? Oh, that ball’s problems. It’s in the right center field gap. Fletcher is hitting second. I think he might Oh, he’s going to pull up there. It is a leadoff double for the number nine batter of the White Socks. who came into the night two for 11 on the season. Apparently the two hits he had were doubles because that’s his third double lead off double and the White Socks have the wouldbe go ahead run on at second base. Top of the order now. Talkman has been walked twice by Bradish. Can we throw strikes to this dude? There’s a strike. Bradish is up to 73 pitches. Both George and Mack say it depends on what your definition of is is. Well, you’re assuming is is whatever the topic of discussion is. So, in other words, like I say, going back to the lamp example, if we’re talking about lamps and tell me it is what it is, you’re not telling me anything about that lamp, are you? You’re not telling me anything at all. I’m not even sure if you know what a lamp is if you say something like that. Tauman strikes out on three pitches. How about that for a turnaround? Bradish walks Tman the first two times and then a three pitch strike out here. [Applause] Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Kyle Teal 0 for two looks at a fast ball low and away. the sinker 1 and0 trying to prevent that runner at second from coming in after a leadoff double. The 10 pitch low 2 and 0. The sky is blue, therefore it’s blue. But it doesn’t address any reason as to why it’s blue or does it ever change color? You know, it’s just saying nothing. It is what it is. The sky is blue, you know? It is what it is. Like imagine if that was the way you taught like a science class. So why is it when these two chemicals uh meet each other uh it blows up? Well, It is what it is, you know. A little bit of that, a little bit of this. Boom. It is what it is. [Laughter] It’s such a nothing statement. Yeah. You know, it is what it is. Two and two. The count on Kyle Teal. pitch way high. Teal kind of, how would you call it? Gyates out of the way. The lamp is possessed with demons. No, it’s just a lamp. It is what it is. It’s just it’s just a lamp. Pay off pitch fouled away. We’ll do it again. Yeah. You know, it’s definitely true. Like, uh, if you’re going to use that expression, I mean, do yourself a freaking favor. All right. Head up to Jersey, go into this little, uh, deli I know about. It’s on South Street. Ask for the uh pastrami on rye and tell them it is what it is and tell them I sent you. Here’s a fly ball to left. It’ll be caught out there by Beavers for the second out. So that leadoff double still at second base with two down. Here comes Lenin Sosa. He’s 0 for two. New Jersey Sosa waiting on the first pitch. Here it is. That is a slider up and away from Bradish. And Basio is going to come out to have a little meeting with Bradish. There’s a right-hander up in the White Sox bullpen. Wilson. Wilson Wilson. Cage shrouds up for us. Long chat here between Basio and Bradish. I like it. I want a screenshot of that. Sammy was looking in the Bradish. Bradish was contemplating something. It was a nice moment. Let’s hope this works out. Want to know the count on Sosa. Runner at second with two down. 84th pitch of the evening from Bradish coming up. And it’s in there. A slider for strike one. One ball, one strike. Here comes the next pitch. That is swung on and missed. Sinker top of the zone. Two strikes, two out. trying to keep this game tied after that leadoff double. Come on, Bradish. One more pitch. The one two. That ball just got a piece to Sosa on a slider breaking low and away. I mean, props for just getting a piece of that. Good pitch from Bradish, but his night’s not over yet. You feel like this is going to be his last inning with Straoud already getting up in the pin. The one two in the dirt. Basio keeps the ball within reach, preventing the runner at second from moving up a base. I say within reach. He actually caught that ball in the bounce. Nice play by Sammy. All right, here’s the 22 pitch. Swing and a miss. Oh, doctor Bradish with the gas up and in. I don’t know if that was a swing to try to do damage or a swing, a defensive swing like get that thing coming at me away. Oh my, what a strike out. [Applause] Well, y’all come back now. You here? Hit the bricks, pal. You’re done. You get nothing. You lose. Good day, sir. How about this? He’s labeled. Now get the hell out of here. All right, Bradish is probably done for the night. I’m going to guess. I mean, we’re almost at 90 on the pitch count and uh I don’t want to see him approach 100. So, let’s go ahead and uh call it a night for Bradish and let’s get him some runs in this inning coming up so that he can qualify for a win. Annie up and kick in like men. Like men. You hear that offense? Annie up and kick in like men. Like men. Time to Annie up and kick in. Time to Annie up and kick in like men. like men. Sorry. I lost my cool for a minute. All right, let’s look at the out of town score board, shall we? Bottom of the ninth, the Cubs are up 4 nothing on the Pirates. By the way, Andrea was here earlier, wasn’t she? Did I completely forget to acknowledge her? That just hit me. I’m looking at the Cub score. It made me think of Andrea. Andrea, if you’re listening, if I forgot to acknowledge I think you were here. Yes, I forgot. Or yes, what? All right. Well, she was here. And did I not forget to acknowledge her? I think I did. I was in the middle of something and I said, “Okay, let me finish this up and then I’ll do it.” But I don’t think I did it. Is that what happened? Ryan Mount Castle is up leading off the top of the sixth. First pitch is outside for ball one. I did not forget. Oh, okay. All right. Good. H I got worried. She’s been so generous. I mean, I told her like, look, I mean, we’re getting near the end of the season here, Annie. So, even if you’re doing this great gesture, uh, you might want to, you know, wrap it up here pretty soon because there’s only a couple of weeks of baseball left. Uh, one and one the count on Mount Castle. Swing and a miss. It’s a ball and two strikes. Can you tell folks that I’m a a businessman first? I’m sitting here trying to tell somebody to stop uh you know giving to the channel. I mean for now anyway. He can pick it back up in the spring. That would be great. Swinging a miss. Mount Castle strikes out on a cutter way off the plate. So we got a new pitcher in here. A right-hander named Wilson. Looking at the first name right now. It’s uh Steven. Steven Wilson. 31 years old out of Littleton, Colorado. He’s got a 314 erra and a 128 whip. At least he did before that first out. Here’s Dylan Beavers. That’s a sweeper for a strike. Kind of looks like a slurve. That diagonal movement on that pitch. Beavers is 0 for two. He hasn’t looked himself tonight at the plate. The 01 lays off. Pitch is high. One ball, one strike. Nice beaver. Nice beaver. Thank you. One ball, one strike, one out. Nobody on. Top of the six. Tied at one. And the pitch inside Beavers with a 2-1 count. Mayo to follow. By the way, in the previous series back in Baltimore earlier in the season, the Orioles did sweep Chicago. Every game was close, though. two to one back on uh the final day of May, four-2 in game two, and then a 32 win in game three. The 2-2 to Beavers, that’s fouled back. So, I was going to start talking about the out of town scores. saw the Chicago score first and then thought about Andrea. Now I’m remembering I got to get back to those scores. So, let’s uh try to get in there. Let’s see what Beavers does on two balls, two strikes. Pitch lays off full count, folks. Come on, Beavers. Get on base. All he does is get on base. There, I said it. Now it can happen. Payoff pitch right down the middle. He pops it up to left field. Damn. A very, very hitable pitch. Beavers can only pop out to left. All right. So, the Cubs are up four to nothing on the Pirates in the bottom of the ninth. The Pirates trying to rally with two on and one out. Top of the ninth, the Braves have a six-run lead on the Nats. 9 to3 Atlanta. Top eight, Blue Jays and Rays tied at one. At the end of six, the Twins are shutting out the Yankees two nothing. Top seven, Cardinals up four to three on the Reds. Go Cincinnati as Mayo takes a first pitch off the plate for ball one. Just get it all on there. Just spread it out. Rangers up three-2 in the top of the fifth on their inter interstate rivals Astros. It’s 3-2 Texas over Houston. Pitches inside a little high 2 and0 on Mayo. Other games coming up later in about 12 minutes. The Giants and Diamondbacks will be going at it with those two teams a half a game apart in the standings. Mayo pops it up behind the plate and out of play. It’s two balls and a strike. Phillies and Dodgers. And what could very easily be a preview of the A uh NLCS. They’ll get started at uh 9, excuse me, 10:10 p.m. Eastern. Mayo takes off the plate. The count is three balls and one strike. Two away, nobody on. And a nice count for Mayo to maybe just crank one out of here to give us the lead. What do you say, folks? Can BW call a shot? Well, it’s the next best thing. It’s off the plate. Mayo saw it and takes his base. You’re not going to give him a home run pitch, then uh fine. We uh we now give you Sammy Basio. I’m walking here. I’m walking here. And with Basio coming up, he’s getting the big league treatment. Wilson looks a little exasperated about this move, getting taken out of the game. Almost feeling uh perhaps a little bit insulted that he can’t get this rookie out. Coming up next, a lefty will come on to face Bio, folks, with two down and a runner at first base. And yeah, Wilson throwing a tantrum. At least it looked like it to me. Exiting the ball game. Tyler Alexander is the lefty coming on. 31y old out of Chicago, hometown kid. Got an erra of 5.01, a whip of 1.40. In the past week, his RA is in the upper 7s. So, he has not been doing well recently. Last Wow. The last five times this reliever has entered a game, he has given up runs. One inning against Tampa, he gave up two hits in a run. An inning and a third against Tampa again, he gave up a run on a home run ball. He faced the Twins for two innings, gave up five innings, fi five hits, two runs including a home run ball in that appearance. also faced the Twins for an inning and two/3s, two hits a run. And then the Yankees, one inning, three hits, three runs, two of them earned with a walk thrown in there. So, good grief, this guy is on quite the uh streak of suckage. Can we please keep it up and uh take the lead right now? That’s my scouting report on the guy coming in to pitch, Tyler Alexander. That’s right. He gave up five innings. Well, [ __ ] Our team gave up five innings last night. His name was Carson Ragsdale. We gave up. All right, here we go. Alexander versus Basio. First pitch is outside for ball one. [Music] The one to Sammy off the plate again. It’s 2 and 0. [Music] Two and 0 to Bio. Catcher setting off the plate. pitch. That was not off the plate. That was middle of the plate. Basio fouls it off. It’s two and one. [Music] He just wants Sammy to get underneath a ball and lift it into the outfield somewhere. And you got a feeling it’s going to travel a long way. Swing and a miss. A bad swing there. A sinker up and in to even up the count at two and two. Runner at first with two down. Top of the sixth. The 22 to Bio. Catcher setting up off the plate outside. Sammy reaches for it out there and fouls it into the crowd. That pitch too close to take. It might have been a ball, but too close to take. Sammy does well to fight it off. Not much you can do with that pitch. Another two- two coming. Here it is. That ball’s hit on the ground through the hole. A base hit. Stopping at second base is Mayo. Two on with two out. A two out rally is cooking up, folks. I was taking a bath. Sammy put a charge into this one. 103 and a half off the bat. That pitch on the outside edge and he still pulled it with authority. Over a 100 off the bat on a pitch off on the outside edge and pulling it, folks. That takes strength. It’s up to Colton Cowser. Oh my god. A change up for a called strike. Lefty on lefty. Cowser 0 for two. He struck out both times tonight. His average right now is right on 200. Cowser, what do you want to do? You want to have a below 200 average or do you want to give us the lead right now? He’s behind 0 and2 now after a foul ball. Folks, get those cows up. [Music] Come on, Kza. One time. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Unless it’s digital, then you’re screwed. That pitch is high. One ball, two strikes. Come on, milkman. [Music] Get some milkman up in the chat, folks. I’m doing it. Look at me multitasking. The one-two pitch fouled back. We’ll do it again. We will do it again. Remember this pitcher and it only goes back previous five games. For all I know, he could be on a longer streak, but the last five times this pitcher has been out here, he’s given up at least one run. Another foul ball, folks. [Music] Three foul balls in this at bat. It’s a one-two count on Cowser. Here comes the next pitch. Catcher setting up outside again. Hower reaches for it to left. He thinks he got it. That ball’s traveling. That ball is gone. Bye by by the milkman delivers. The milk might be a little sour lately, but today it’s fresh. The Orioles with an Earl Weaver special take the lead four to one. Folks, it’s magic. [Music] I told you this picture sucked. Folks, [Music] that’s how we do things around here at the Bird Watcher channel. It’s 2 and 0 on Jackson Holiday. Base is empty, two down, and make it three and 0. 3 and 0 on holiday. [Music] Alexander’s next pitch is right in there. A get me over sinker for strike one. Heck yeah, folks. Here’s a foul ball. full count on holiday. Everything lined up there. I mean, I gave Cowser an ultimatum. I gave him an ultimatum. Either you do something here or you’re going to be hitting below 200. What do you want? Holiday line drive. That’s a fair ball down the right field line into the corner. Jackson will easily get two. The inning continues to roll on. Splash it up, folks. It’s getting wet around here. [Music] All right, the floodgates have opened. Holiday with a line drive into the right field corner. Jeremiah, join the party. Jeremiah, man, this picture sucks. I’m so glad he’s not with us. So nice to see the shoe on the other foot. And believe me, folks, I understand. Do I think this game is decided? No. But this particular inning has been therapeutic. I’m not going to front. Nice to see some other crappy pitcher get their ass handed to him. All right, come on, Jeremiah. Keep it going. Keep it going, man. I hope Cowser can get on some kind of a roll down these last couple of weeks. Build off of something. Jeremiah chases a change up blowing away for strike one. Holiday at second base, two down. The Orioles with three runs in off the bat of Cowser. That pitch in the dirt. One ball, one strike. Alexander’s thrown 20 pitches now in the inning. They’ve got another guy up. Vassel, a right-hander. for the White Socks. Uh 1-1 pitch is inside. It’s two balls in a strike on Jeremiah. He drove in the other run of this game. RBI single, three-run homer from Cowser, accounting for the four runs on the board. Fouled away. It’s two and two. Two and two on Jeremiah. [Music] So, how why is it tonight that the scoreboard hasn’t frozen like at all? I mean, I should be knocking on wood, but I haven’t had to adjust it now for well over an hour. First or second inning, like just been fine. Uh, two- two pitch. That’s hit out to right center field. That ball’s traveling. That ball is caught up against the wall. Jeremiah missed a home run by less than five ft to the opposite field. Boy, it just stayed in the yard. But a good inning all the same for Baltimore, folks. And what a much needed big swing off the bat of Colton Cowser. An Earl Weaver special. A threerun bomb to give us a three-run lead here late. We go now to the Well, it’s not that late. It’s still the sixth. Let me slow my roll. We got a three-run lead going into the bottom of the six. Four to one Baltimore, folks. All right. Uh, hit the like button and subscribe. All right. Uh, I’ve noticed the sub count hasn’t hit 3510 today. Uh, 3500 is nice, but we can’t stop growing, now can we, folks? We can’t stop growing. We’re still in the puberty stage. All right. All right. Oh wow. Here he comes. Let me show you what I mean. Now by the first thing you do is get right up in their face. You point the finger. Then if you can’t get close enough, you turn the hand around and kick some dirt. And then if he’s miss the sprite, you get over here and you put dirt all over the thing. You throw the hat down. You pick it up. You throw it and you’re so bad you throw him out the game. You’re out of here. That’s the way a major league manager should I learned something. Page Straoud is on in relief and it’s Coulson Montgomery to lead it off for the White Socks. He tries to check his swing, but the home plane umpire says, “Nope, you didn’t. You went around. It’s 0 and one on Montgomery.” We’re in the bottom of the sixth, end of the day for Bradish. Five innings and again, perfect time for a rally. Bradish now in line for a victory if we hold on to this three-run lead. 0 and2 on Montgomery and the pitch from Straoud is fouled away. Four hits, four walks from Bradish tonight. He did strike out nine guys, but I would rather cut those strikeouts in half if it meant cutting those walks down. Not a fan of a four-w walk night in a five inning ball game. One and two now on Montgomery. Straoud’s pitch. Curveball. Just got a piece of that. Did the batter. It is still one and two. All right. By the way, how’s the lighting doing? Do I still look partially human? Okay. All right. One ball, two strikes to the leadoff hitter in the bottom of the six. Pay sets his target up and away. And that’s where the pitch is, but it’s a foot off the plate outside. Two and two pitch. That one’s laid off. A cutter low and in. Full count. Hey, you forgot the Italian guy’s name. You know, hey, Dingleberry, it is what it is, right? I mean, am I right? Swing and a miss. Montgomery strikes out. See you. [Applause] Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Are you talking about my freaking friend Andrew Benendee? Maybe you’re talking about uh Archie C and Franco, huh? Remember him? What about NMA? No more. No more freaking Garcia par. Curtis me at the plate. He’s got a 10-0 count. Pitch is fouled back. Oneonone. You know they they asked Norma, you know, why did they name you that, huh? He went to his his mom’s, his dad’s. He said, “Hey, why’d you name me NMA?” And they said, “You know what they told him? You know what they told that dude? They said, “Hey, it is what it is.” You know, your mother had ideas. I had ideas. We couldn’t decide. It is what it is. 2-1 pitch to Curtis Meade. fouled away on the first base side. Two and two. In fact, that would be great. We We need to We need to update marriage vows instead of I do. I I want to say it is what it is. And do you BW take this loving bride uh as your lawfully wedded wife? It is what it is. Swing and a miss. Strike three. Straoud strikes out Curtis Meade. [Applause] Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Here’s Andrew freaking Benitendi. Two down, nobody on. There’s a freaking strike. 0 and one. Orioles with a treeun lead. I like when we’re up by tree. Still a safe situation. Curveball in the freaking dirt. Hey one and one the count, huh? Yeah, we got a tree run lead. Uh, that ball’s hit to first. Mayo knocks it down, recovers, and will flip to Straoud covering the bag. Nice teamwork to get the final out here in the six. Another inning of no runun work from Cage Straoud. He’s been a nice little Can we acknowledge Cage Straoud, folks? He might be the 2025 version of Keegan Akin. The guy that nobody’s going to sit there and go, “Man, I really like this guy.” But you can’t deny the results. I mean, this bullpen thrown together with some gorilla glue and some duct tape. Page Stri’s rocking an erra of 1.57. Not too shabby. Not too shabby. Hey, name the four freaking Orio pitchers who got the 20 freaking wins. Oh, I can do this. You got your your Mike Quayas. You got your Jim Palmer’s. You got your uh hold on your your hold on hold on Papus Quay B. Not Bcker. What am I doing? Oh, don’t do this to me. Hold on. Hold on. Dobson. Pat Dobson. That’s the That’s the tough one. Don’t spoil it for me. Yeah, McN. I don’t know why. Yeah, Lefty. I don’t know why I couldn’t think of McN. I don’t know what I’m thinking. Hey, Mike freaking Quayard, Dave freaking Mcnal, Pat freaking Dobson, and Jim freaking Palmer. Hey, don’t you try to try to get in front of me, Dingleberry. Huh? Everybody’s typing in McNal now. Yeah. Bunch of bag of donuts. You freaking guys. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe it took me an extra minute to think of a name. It is what it is. So, it’s it’s not the best option, but it just is what it is. It is what it is. Hey, top of the seventh, huh? All right, enough of that. Mike Vassel is on the pitch. 44th appearance, a right-hander. Gunner will lead off for the Orioles and take Loan in for ball one. All right, last time I said this, uh, we did well. Annie up and kick in like men. Like men. All right, that’s a strike. One ball, one strike on Gunner. His name’s Gunner and he’s dating my mom. Four to one Orioles. We’re in the top of the seventh. Bullpin game at this point. Change up fouled away. One and two on Gunnar. He is 0 for two tonight, but he did walk his last time up. Pitch lying opposite field, but foul. Dietrich Ends is getting loose in the Orio bullpen. If uh we play our cards right, ends in the seventh, Rico Garcia in the eighth, and I don’t know what the hell in the ninth. [Laughter] The old Let’s see who the closer is tonight for the ninth if we have a save situation. Here’s the 22 to Gunner. Swung on, hit in the air high, but foul. It is two and two. Oh, John, if you only knew of my sorted past. I uh was the voice of Meatwad on Aquatine Hunger Force and a couple of other things. Well, you don’t believe me? You better believe me when I tell you that I was the voice of Mew. Nobody ever seems to believe me when I tell them this. It’s very upsetting. Uh two and two the count on Gunner. And here comes the catcher to talk to Vassel. You know, Vassel would uh you know, maybe shave a few pounds off. He’d be Vaseline. Get it? [Music] Vassel lean. Get it. All right. I’ll be here all week. Two- two pitch. That is a breaking ball backed on Gunnar. He is out looking. Called strike three. Called strike three. One away in the top of the seventh. Nice pitch by Vassel. Tyler O’Neal. He’s 0 for three. This guy lined out to center in the second. Grounded out to short in the fourth. Hit into a fieldielder’s choice in the fifth. 203 the average. Way to go, Mike Elias. Swing and a foul. One ball, one strike, folks. Have we gotten to 100 likes yet? No. We are five short. Hey, if you’re watching right now, guess what? There’s almost as many people watching me as are attending this actual game. Please hit the like button. Let’s get to 100. Tyler O’Neal takes low. Oh, it’s two in one. Uh, funny thing, John. I I broke, but I never entered. It’s kind of like my first girlfriend. Here’s a line drive to right. That’s a base hit for Tyler O’Neal. Folks, alert the media. Tyler O’Neal has a base hit. That’s the creaky sound of his bat working, I guess. All right, Tyler O’Neal’s on base. Hey, could you run the bases without getting injured, please? Thanks. All right, one on, one out for Ryan Mount Castle. Okay, mount up. First pitch way inside for ball one. Oh, Mount Castle took a ball on that liner in the previous inning off his uh throwing hand on the fingers. Might be uh troublesome for him throwing the ball or even uh gripping the bat. Hopefully not. We got a 20 count. 20 count. O’Neal at first with one down. That ball is hit toward right. That ball’s traveling but will be caught on the track. Right fielder playing deep. Only had to go back a couple of steps to get to the track. And Mel Castle is retired. Two down. That’s an interesting story there, Dingleberry. Hey, anytime you get to meet Brooks and he tells you this is the only time he’s ever done this, that’s a story. Uh, Dylan Beavers, folks, show me your beavers, please. Nice, Beaver. Thank you. Two down with a runner at first. That’s strike one. The Beavers. Next pitch is high. One ball, one strike to Beavers. He has not reached base yet tonight. It’s time to change that. The one one lays off one in the dirt. The kneel on at first base. I want to take a screenshot of it. The 2-1 to Beavers. That ball’s hit back to the pitcher. He will run most of the way to first base and an underhand flip to get the put out. Beavers goes 0 for four tonight. The Orioles have left eight men on base, but they lead it as we hit the seventh inning stretch. It’s Baltimore four and the White Socks one. Folks, seventh inning stretch time. You know what time it is and uh we are two likes away from 100. What do you say during the stretch we hit 100 likes? Perfect timing. If you’re watching right now, tap that thumbs up at the bottom of your screen if you haven’t done so already. Thank you so much for doing it. It really helps out the channel. All right, folks. I’m getting hungry. It’s time to throw some cakes on the griddle. Get them cakes up in the chat, folks. Thank [Music] God. Pass the syrup. Thank god I’m a country boy. Oh, I want another plate. Thank god I’m a country boy. Oh, we got bacon, too. Lovely. I’m down. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. It’s bacon. All right. Thank God. Hey, folks, I’ll be right back. Folks, the Orioles lead at four to one. How did we get here? H, you know, it is what it is. Quero lifts off first pitch. He’s now batting right-handed and he is now retired right-handed. Dietrich Ends is on in relief. Quero gets a first pitch and flies out to center field. One away in the bottom of the seventh. Dietrich Ends is making his 21st appearance. I believe he’s now at the point where he’s made more appearances for us than he had with the Tigers earlier in the season. He’s up to 39 in the third innings. Chase Midroth is at the plate. Heath takes a first pitch strike. Midroth with one for two with a single in the second. The 01 midroth shows bunt. A curveball. Started high and stayed high. I like staying high. That’s why I look like I’m about my head’s about to explode. Let’s get the uh other version of the lighting on here. That’s a line drive right at Gunner, though. Oh, I was worried that ball was going to go over him into left center, but right to the chest of Gunner. A line out for out number two. Now, what is that on the board? Runs, hits, errors. What is MVR? Did anybody see that? Masson just showed a closeup of the scoreboard in center field here at the ballpark and you know your typical box score showing runs, hits, errors, RH and then there was a fourth box that said something like MV or something and it was three for us and zero for Chicago. It’s not left on base. What is that number? I don’t know what that means. Uh oh, we’ve got a dog that refuses to let go of a little chew toy. We know how that goes. 20 pitch. Oh, we got a pinch hitter. By the way, the attendance is so high tonight because uh they are counting four-legged creatures as attendees to this ball game. So, don’t let that fool you. Three 0 pitch is a strike. Uh Taylor is at the plate. Michael Taylor, the veteran. My goodness. Michael, are you sure you still want to stick in the game if it’s to play for the White Socks off the bench? Are you sure, man? You really got to love baseball if you’re Michael A. Taylor. All right, we got a full count after that foul ball. Two down, nobody on. Mound visits remaining. That can’t be a thing. I mean, it’s a nice I mean, it adds up. Those are the initials. There’s no way that’s a thing, right? Is that a thing? Swing and a miss on the payoff pitch and strikes out Taylor. [Applause] Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Mound visits remaining. That is very, very interesting. I didn’t realize there was a limit. I thought the limit was one per inning. Uh, two if you count one by a pitching coach and one by a manager. And does that even include when the catcher goes out there? So, we get X amount of mound visits for a game. I I thought it was an inning toinninging situation. That’s always been my impression. Unless it’s another rule change that happened around the same time they introduced Ghost Runners and Pitch Clock and some other things. That one might have blew under my radar. We have a mound visit limit. Let me check this out. Oh, so yeah. So another rule introduced during that same time. That makes sense. Uh mound visit limit. I’m looking this up. I’m I’m educating myself. Wow. Teams are limited to four mound visits per nine innings with an extra visit awarded for the ninth inning if the team has no remaining visits at the end of the eighth. Well, then just give us five. Shut up. God, who really sat down and nitpicked this thing? Additional visits are also allowed for every extra inning played. These visits count when a manager, coach, or player goes to the mound to talk. So even when the catcher goes out there, though exceptions exist for checking on potential injuries, cleaning cleats in raining weather, or after an offensive substitution. Wow. So credit to the White Socks for being the only team I’ve ever seen keep track of that on a scoreboard. They may suck in every other way, but they’ve they’re trailblazers in this regard. All right, Kobe Mayo. Bassel still on the mound. He’s on 20 pitches. He’s got a 10 count and it’s now one and one. That pitch is a strike on Mayo. Let’s get it all on there. Just spread it out. So, did they introduce this to the minor leagues around the same time? That pitch is a bit high. Two balls, one strike. Mayo is 0 for one. Fouled away. Two balls, two strikes. 0 for one, but certainly there’s been activity besides that. He was hit by a pitch in the fourth inning and he walked in the sixth. Two and two the count on Mayo. Let’s get it all on there. Just spread it out. He lays off a pitch outside. Full count. All right. Come on, Kobe. Sammy Basio is on deck. Colton Cowser will hit third in the inning. Payoff pitch fouled away. Three balls, two strikes. Another payoff. Ball four. Take your base. Lead off walk for Mayo. [Music] I’m walking here. I’m walking here. True that, Phantom. True that. And uh that’s what’s going on right now with the ABS uh system, right? Automated balls and strikes or at least when it comes to challenging them. Not 100% leaving it up to a robot to call balls and strikes, but for replays and that whole system. We saw it in the spring training last year. And didn’t they actually say we’re going to bring it in next year? Have they made that announcement? I want to say I read something, but I’m not 100% sure. Basio with a 10 pitch fouls it right behind the plate. It’s one ball, one strike. I think we’re on the cusp of being able to challenge balls and strikes. Maybe next season. And they did it in the All-Star game this year. So, it feels like we’re right on the cusp. It could be next year. Check swing appeal. Basio does not go. It’s two and one. Of course, at the end of next year, there is the potential lockout slash strike, collective bargaining agreement. That whole rigomearo, we got to go through that again. Might be something they want to not uh introduce until after we get through that whole thing. I don’t know. We’ll find out next year, I guess. 2-1 to Basio is inside. It’s three balls, one strike on Sammy. One for two with a single his last time up. He’s also drew a walk back in the third. Pitch hit on the ground right to shorts. A tailor made double play ball. And Basio hits into a twin killing to empty the bases and kill the rally. [Music] Big stop, folks. It’s your last chance probably tonight to get some cows up in the chat. He deserves a round of applause. Folks, the milkman finally delivers the big blow of the night. a three-run homer his last time up. Takes a curveball low for ball one. [Music] Come on, folks. [Music] Get your dairy in here. [Music] What is my audience? Lactose intolerant. Come on. That’s better. One and0 on Cowser. That’s just off the outside edge. Looked like it hit the corner. Cowser gets the call. He got a call in that previous at bat that went his way. Now that memory serves, boy, that really helped him out. Uh 2 is inside. 3 and 0. Keep the cows coming, folks. There is plenty of room on this farm. The more the marrier. The move the marrier. There’s a called strike. Three balls, one strike. The the marrier. 3-1. Swinging a miss. A change up. He swung over it. Full count. Vassel’s now thrown 36 pitches since coming in. A lot for a reliever. Uh the White Sox have thrown a lot of pitches tonight alto together. Uh payoff pitch called strike three and Cowser got screwed. He lets the ump know about it. He’s still looking over his shoulder as he walks away as the ump rings him up on a pitch a couple inches inside. But Cowser, if you go back and look at that previous at bat that you homered, he gave you a call and it helped us get a three-run swing out of it. So, don’t I wouldn’t argue too much, Colton. You’re just now starting to make contact. I wouldn’t I wouldn’t chirp too much. Uh we’re going to the bottom of the eighth. The Orioles lead at four to one. It was a bad call, Phantom, but again, Cowser’s probably the last person to put up an argument after what happened in the previous atbat for him. You know, if we were White Socks fans, we’d be going, “All right, that’s kind of a makeup call, but it’s not enough.” I’m trying to look at it from every angle. Although, you know, our angle, Orio fans, that’s always the most important angle. That’s the one that really matters. What we feel uh bottom of the eighth is is coming up. How about one more look at these out of town scores? They are in extra innings and the Blue Jays have gotten their ghost runner in in the top of the 11th. They lead it two to one on Tampa. Still batting with two down and a runner at first. Going into the bottom of the eighth, the Twins are shutting out the Yankees 7 zip. There’s the one two behind to right center field. There’s a base hit and that one gets away from Jazz. Another run is in. More bad defense from the Yankees. It’s 7 nothing. Jazz could have handled the throw coming in from the outfield. And just like that, it is a seven to nothing ball game. Just [ __ ] take the whole team off the field, man. Take the whole team off the field. Take the whole team off the field. Take them all. Get them all [ __ ] out of here. I’m so done. I I can’t even look at this anymore. Stick a fork in the Yankees. Done, baby. This is This is truly disgusting. This is disgusting. One and one the count on Mike Tauman leading off the bottom of the eighth. It’s fouled away. One and two. Dietrich Ends is still on the pitch for us. Four to one Orioles. White Socks have six outs left to play with. The one two is in on the hands. And T talkman, you swung. Did he think it hit him and he goes to first? What was that? It’s a ball and two strikes as the one two hit right back to Louie. Goes the second one on the first. Jazz throws it. What the [ __ ] was that? Jazz low and away. The count is two and two on Tauman. The 32 pitch hit in the air to right field and deep and the Mets have taken the lead. [ __ ] this team. Two and two on Talkman. Base is empty. Nobody out. We’re in the bottom of the eighth. Pitch popped up. Uh Gunner in shallow center makes the catch. One down. Five more outs to go. We’re up by three. Uh, well, at least it’s not like the Mets season. [Music] How much did you pay for Sodto? [Music] Kyle Teal at the plate. 10 pitch. Swung on a missed. One and one the count on Teal. He’s 0 for three. Pitch, swing, and a miss. A challenge fast ball right down the middle. [Laughter] John, I I I appreciate that anecdote. Swing and a miss. Teal. See you later. Teal next time, pal. [Applause] Teal next time. Well, y’all come back now. You here? Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Two down in the bottom of the eighth. Lenin Sosa. Hey, well, at least the Knicks are good. Well, at least the the Rangers are. Oh, sorry. Uh 0 and one on Lenin Sosa. pitch, swing, and a fly ball going foul, slicing down the right field corner there. Nice catch by the uh ball man down there. He held the stool with one hand and made the catch with his glove hand and made it look like no big whoop. Give that fan a contract. I mean, normally I’d be kidding, but this is the White Socks. Literally give him a contract. Uh that pitch is low and in. One ball, two strikes on Sosa. Two down, nobody on. Bottom of the eighth. Orioles trying to end a three-game losing streak. That mess of a series in Toronto. Swing and a miss. Sosa chases a curveball up and away. See you later. [Applause] Well, y’all. All right. Now, come on. Look at how precious this little girl eating an ice cream cone with her little like ballerina outfit on. Are you kidding me? I mean, how precious can you get, folks? Even a cynic like me. I don’t have a joke for that. That’s just great. Uh, we’re going to the ninth inning, folks. The Orioles lead at 4 to one. By the way, let’s take a look at Tampa right now. Uh they just got their leadoff man on base. So, the Ghost Runners at third. Toronto with a 2-1 lead. Tampa up in the bottom of the 11th with nobody out. The Ghost Runner tying run at third. And the winning run, not would be winning run, if you’re listening to me buddy, the winning run is on at first base. you schmuck. All right. How we doing, Charm City chat? We going to hang on to this? I hope so. That middle game against the Blue Jays, I don’t want to see Canó within 50 yards of the bullpen mound. as we uh come up to hit for the final time here. I’m thinking it’s Rico Suave time for the ninth unless the Orioles uh get ahead by more than three. Maybe you go to a guy a little lower leverage. But uh save spot. And against this White Socks lineup, I’m not talking about do we go to a lefty, do we go to a righty? No, screw that. Go to the guy you feel the best about. And for me, that’s Rico Garcia. All right, Jackson Holiday top of the order. Vassel is on the pitch more. We won’t be seeing him for the rest of this series. Holidays one for three. Here’s a ground ball. First base side foul. Man, can you imagine being a White Socks fan these last couple of years? O2 to Holiday inside. Of course, you can imagine you’re Orio fans. We’ve had years, too many of these years. The one two Holiday. That’s out to right center. That’s going to get down for a base hit. Nice swing on one ball, two strikes. Dug out get showing him some support. Turn on the sprinkler. Save situations. up by three are nice, but I’ll happily add on here and maybe save Garcia’s arm for tomorrow if it’s a closer game. So, let’s add on. Here’s Jeremiah Jackson. Uh, he whiffs on a sweeper. It’s 0 and one. Jackson back in it tonight with a hit and a walk, an RBI, 286 average at the moment. Five home runs, 19 driven in. That’s a ground ball to third. That’s a double play ball. And Jeremiah just hit into another double play. He hit in the one last night, right? Or was that earlier tonight? The Orioles are going to check and see if they want to challenge the play at first. Yeah, that was last night or afternoon, I believe. Jeremiah hit it into a double play. Uh, so that’s a rally killer, folks. Sorry about that. [Music] Gunner Henderson’s final turn at the plate, we think. Uh, takes outside a curve ball for ball one. 0 for three with a walk for Gunnar. Struck out looking his last time up. 270 the average at the moment. That’s swung on and missed. One ball, one strike. Bassel on 45 pitches. The 11 one is up and away. I wonder how much they charge for those premium seats right behind home plate here for the White Socks. That curve ball misses. It’s three and one on Gunner. Honestly, I’d be willing to spend maybe 40 bucks, but there’s no way they’re that cheap. 3-1 pitch swung on and missed old count on Gunnar. Payoff pitch coming. Two down, nobody on in the top of the ninth. Here it is. Swung on. Hit on the ground to first and off the first baseman. Second baseman backing up. How did that ump call that? The umpire is running. Just make sure this call is correct. If the ump got it right, so be it. But he was definitely not in a position to make the call. Well, apparently he got it right. The Orioles aren’t going to challenge. The out is made. to win the inning. Gunner on a ground ball 3-4 to one on the put out. 3 to 4 to one ground ball out. All right, folks. It’s bottom of the ninth time. I did not see anybody getting up in the Orio bullpen, so I don’t know who’s coming out here. I would assume ends is not going to stay in 24 pitches. I mean, I don’t want I know he can throw more than that, but if he goes another inning, then he won’t be available for a couple of days. I’d rather use him a little more sparingly and have him available every other day if possible. Nobody’s up. Well, see, I don’t like that. I don’t like that. I don’t like that. Andrea is here again. Now, wait a minute. Now, I can’t figure out. Oh my god. I I can feel the 150 games or so that I’ve called right now because my head is swimming. I can’t Andrea, you were here earlier tonight, right? Am I living through Groundhog Day? I don’t know. I was just saying your name a couple of innings ago, Andrea. wondering whether or not I remembered to thank you for dropping off a magic membership tonight and I was told I did, but now here you are again. I don’t know what to believe. But Andrea, either way, thank you. I have to tell you though, the season is only a couple of weeks away from ending. and to give out memberships beyond this stage. I would say going forward, I mean, we will have playoff games in October. The the channel will still be active, but in terms of like the big uh the big crowds for the oral games, I don’t I think it’s going to drop off here in a couple of weeks. Uh I did believe it. Hey, don’t tell me what I did or didn’t believe. I don’t believe you. Uh, Ends is in the ball game, right? Uh, Montgomery at the plate, swinging a miss on uh the 01 pitch. It’s 0 and2, folks. I hope I if I go over here and check on my own stream. I’m expecting to see a bunch of heart emojis flying through the Charm City chat. And no, nothing. No hearts. Nobody remembers how this works. We have a lead in the ninth inning. We’re trying to close the door. Get those hearts going, people. There is uh one away. Just like that. You see how this works? It’s that easy. Dietrich ends just struck out Coulson Montgomery for the first out in the ninth. [Applause] Well, y’all come back now. You hear? This pitch has popped up on one pitch. Curtis me shallow right. Get out of the way, Holiday. Tyler O’Neal makes the catch. Two down. One more out to go. [Music] Dietrich Ends is going to get a save in two different ways. It is a standard save situation in that he’s in the ball game ninth inning getting three outs with a three-run lead or less. That is a save situation. But you know what else is pitching the final three innings of a game and keeping the lead, whatever it is. And Enza is gonna do that too if he gets this final out. So give him two saves. If we get this uh Vargas is up to pitch pinch hit for the White Socks and he fouls the first pitch he sees away. Miguel Vargas is batting 232 with 14 homers and 53 driven in. The 01 that is foul tipped at the plate and the White Socks are down to their final strike. [Music] Hey, we got Derek checking in as an 8-month Magic member. Just wants to say cha-ching, I guess. All right, one more strike. And we’re back in the win column. The pitch high, one ball, two strikes on Vargas. Ends is at 31 pitches. Bradish started the game. Kate Strad pitched a scoreless six. Then Ends is trying to carry it the rest of the way. The one two popped up. Should be the final out. Jackson Holiday on the lip of the outfield. Grass makes the catch and the Orioles are back in the win column after a terrible showing in Toronto this weekend. Baltimore leave Canada and go to the best place you can go for some good oldfashioned healing, Chicago to play the White Socks. They lose again. That’s their 94th loss. The Orioles win this one four to one, folks. Yes. [Music] Only 12 games left. 11 and one and we don’t have a losing season, folks. It’s still possible. Talk to me, Charm City Chad. How you feeling? O R I O L E S. [Music] Something magic happens. It’s the magic of Orioles baseball. Hey, where’s Miss Janet been? Look at this. Look at this dimple. Janet, you’re missing out. Look, man, what do you want? If you’re like a Yankee fan watching me right now or Red Sox fan or whatever, you’re probably going like, “Really? How sad. Look at this guy celebrate beating the White Socks with his last place team.” Uh, look, if you were me or an Oreo fan, you take what you can get. All right, PS5. No, I’m not getting a PS5. I really don’t even want a PS5. I don’t want it. I’m happy with a PS4. I’m happy staying one generation behind and just paying a cheaper rate for these consoles. I’m again the the the discrepancy uh from one generation to the next these days is so minimal like I I don’t even it does I don’t care. They’re going to have to come up with a whole new like technology, you know, some VR goggles or whatever that actually work or something. I’m fine with this. If anything, again, I’m going to get an emulator and play some old classic video games cuz they’re just so much fun to pick up and play. You know, I I’m not one of these gamers that likes to sit down and spend, you know, eight hours sessions uh trying to, you know, get through a level of something. I That’s the reason why I like playing sport video games because you know exactly what you’re getting into. You know, a soccer game takes like 30 minutes. Baseball game takes about 40, 45. You know, you tell yourself, “All right, I’m going to play two games. You’re done. 90 minutes. You’re in. You’re out. You play these other games. They’re too immersive.” I can’t be sitting there playing video games all damn night. Not to begrudge anybody that does, but uh you know now back in the day when I had an N64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Oh boy. That was in my college years. We had that game in my uh my group house. Me and my roommates played the hell out of that. We were up all night every night playing that game. That was probably the last time I uh you know pulled allnighters playing video games. But anyway, how much uh off topic can I get, folks? Not much. Let’s talk about this final. Kyle Bradish gets his first win of 2025 with this result, folks. And uh despite the fact he gave up four walks, three of them to lead off batters of three different innings, uh he worked around that and was otherwise pretty good. Four hits, nine strikeouts, and just the one earned run. Steven Wilson gets the loss and Dietrich Ends gets the save. Again, he gets a save, a two-way save. He pitched a scoreless ninth with a three-run lead, but he also pitched the final three innings. So, however you want to credit him, that is a save two different ways. Uh, time of the ball game. Oh, I guess I have to refresh to find that out. Uh, 2 hours and 50 minutes. Attendance here at Chicago 11,020. They broke 11K, folks. Uh again, the bullpen did uh really nice. Although again, I’m not a fan of using Dietrich. I mean, 32 pitches, I mean, it was a quick ninth inning. It’s probably not going to make that much of a difference. So, you know, but that’s playing Monday morning quarterback. If had pitched a ninth inning where he had to throw like 20 pitches, then we probably can’t go back to him for a couple more days. Uh, but here’s the deal. We’ve got the freaking Yankees coming up soon, folks. Guess what? It’s time to start talking about this. Two more games here in Chicago and we come back home on Thursday night to start a fourame series against the Yankees on our final home stand. We will then face Tampa for three at home and that’s it. Seven games left at home starting on Thursday night. And then after that, three games left in the season, all in the Bronx. Seven of the final 10 against the Yankees. It all starts after these last two games against Chicago. So Tony, I give you uh I give you the freedom to manage things in a way that normally I would say no to, which is to say yes, I want to line up our best weapons for this Yankee series. Okay? So like in the case of Dietrich ends, I don’t want to see him again this series. I don’t uh because he’s not going to pitch tomorrow and if he pitches the final game, he won’t be available for game one against New York. And I want him available for at least two of those four games. It’s all about taking it to the Yankees, folks. That’s what we got. By the way, if you want a sneak preview, this is not official, but according to ESPN, here are the four pitching matchups currently starting Thursday against the Yankees. Kade Povich against Max Freed, Trevor Rogers against is it Will Warren, Tomayuki Sagano against Carlos Rodon, and then Kyle Bradish against Cam Schlitter. Schlitter, I like your malt liquor. It’s very good. Uh again folks, that is not official, but that’s what’s on the ESPN page right now. We even have the three. I mean, I doubt that this is going to hold up, but they’ve got it mapped out through the Tampa series. Kramer will pitch game one against Tampa. Tyler Wells game two, Povich game three. So Povich will be the only pitcher out of this six-man rotation to face both the Yankees and the Rays coming up on this home stand. Seven games, six pitchers. So, whoever pitches Thursday will pitch the final game of the series, I think. All right. Now, in terms of tomorrow, everybody’s coming back, right? Dean Kramer will be on the mound. He’s facing Shane Smith and his numbers aren’t actually are actually not too bad. He’s got a six and seven record. Can’t read too much into that, but a 378 erra and a 18 whip. A 118 whip is pretty solid for a starter. And for this 100 loss on the cusp White Sox team, that’s virtually acceike. So, we’ll see what Shane Smith has going on against Dean Kramer. Folks, same start time as tonight. First pitch is at 7:40 p.m. I’ll be on the air at 7:25 with the pregame. Hope you folks will be here. Remember, you can always turn on your notifications if you if you want. And uh yeah, we have got a dozen games left to play, right? A dozen to go. A dirty dozen. How we going to play them, folks? How are we going to do this? Wow, look at the view count tonight. We’re not even We’re not even going to get to 1,500 views, that is really, really low. I mean, I would assume playing the White Socks in September with two teams not going anywhere, a low turnout, but holy cow, that is low. 1500, folks. Do you know how many people we had here against the Blue Jays for a game just a few days ago? Over 6,000 showed up tonight. 1300 and 82. That’s what I’m looking at. It’ll probably bump up a little bit, maybe to 1500, but uh yeah, slow night. However, in spite of all that, you folks are still coming in clutch by hitting that like button. 117 likes tonight. Well, somebody just took theirs away. Aha, I just saw you take your like away. Yeah, you. I’m talking to you. I just saw you do that. Aha. You got caught taking a like away. It’s kind of weird, right? At this stage, I’m just wrapping up like I called the game. It’s over. Most people like at the ballpark would just get out of their seat, start walking in the car. Some might like to stay around and just take it in. Why would you take your like away now? What did I do? It’s just funny. It’s funny watching this stuff play out, folks. Uh, all right. Let me see uh if there’s a buddy of mine I can send you to calling something. I pretty sure no matter what there’s going to be a buddy calling Monday Night Football. Uh, but let’s see what’s available here. I try to spread the love around. You feel me, folks? I try to spread it around. Uh, well, Phillies Dodgers is a big one, but that doesn’t get started here for a little while, doesn’t it? Oh, it is. It is underway. Okay. I I guess JJ is where to go. Hey, Rhino, if you get word of this, I didn’t mean to bump you, buddy. I was thinking about you with the Monday night football call, but Phillies and Dodgers, it’s early out there. It’s a really big matchup, and JJ’s on the call, so we’re going to go with that for tonight. All right. So, folks, uh, go say hi to JJ. I’m going to be sending you there if you’re not wanting to stay up. It’s understandable. It’s a late game, but, uh, some folks like to hear some baseball as they go to sleep, but you can at least stop and pop in and, uh, say hello, drop a like, maybe subscribe if you haven’t done so, okay? Help out JJ. He’s been helping this channel out so much. Uh, if anybody did subscribe tonight, thanks. It’s hard to tell. Well, I’d have to open up another window to take a look. The sub count up here has not moved. So, we definitely didn’t get doubledigit subscribers tonight and it was a low turnout. So, maybe a couple if you did. Thanks. All right, folks. That’s going to do it for me. Be back tomorrow night. We’re playing the White Socks. That means we got a chance to win. He Kramer going to be on the mound. We’re 70 wins and 80 losses. After all this nonsense, folks, seven wins and then eight losses, you know, it’s like the difference between being 70 and 80 versus 80 and 70 is all the difference in the world, isn’t it? You know, we talk about how good some teams are and how bad some other teams are. You play all these games and it really does come down to a handful. And that’s what makes you go back and think about some of those games you know you should have won and you didn’t. And that’s that’s where the pain is, folks. I don’t want to I don’t want that pain. I’m going to hold on for the for the off season for for the pain. All right. Thanks for being here everybody. See you tomorrow night. Until then, this has been the bird watcher. The hat has had the night off. I’m hoping the hat isn’t needed for this series. Uh, but we will chirp at you later. Okay, have a good night everybody. And sending you now to Playbyplay with JJ. Take care.

Bradish vs Gilbert
