Through his first 30 plate appearances Bryce Eldridge leads the team in Expected wOBA *Incredibly small sample alert*
September 25, 2025
Merely pointing this out because the contact has been really good and the results have lagged enough that some are already mad that we rushed him.

I saw some posts saying it was a mistake bringing him up now. It turns out it wasn’t. It gave him a chance to get his feet wet, and eliminate any butterflies he may have when the season opens in 2026. He said on postgame yesterday, after his two hit game, that he was having fun, and was glad to be there. Here’s to him, and Devers, hitting many, many homers into McCovey Cove,
His average exit Velocity is 98mph, LMAO
Unreal batted ball data in the Majors thus far.
Buster has to decide between Eldridge and Dom. I don’t know how he re-signs Dom, at this point.
He chases a lot less than I thought…is always balanced, and has power to all feels with a crazy short quick swing especially for being 6 ft 7. Once he gets familiar with these pitchers and works on his offspeed recognition, sky is the limit. You can tell pitchers are already super careful with him. Hes a presence we’ve lacked
Keep in mind this guy is gonna fill out. He’s just a kid – he’s gonna grow into legit monster
Balls aren’t dropping (literally 30 PAs) but he’s done a good job drawing walks .175 higher OBP than average and 2/3 hits have been doubles.

He looks like he belongs.
