Trying to stay positive but it really feels like another beatdown is incoming. Houston’s terrible OLine is neutralized by our terrible EDGE room. And that’s really the only reason Houston is 0-3. Advantage is theirs almost everywhere else.
But Levis won this game last year, so anything is possible. Titan Up

Dogshit vs donkeyshit
I want to believe the Titans can pull if off, but just take a look at Houston’s losses.
– Week 1: Close game against the Rams in LA, held the offense to only 7 points in 2nd half whereas the Titans allowed 23 points in the 2nd half, at home.
– Week 2: Close game against the Bucs, actually were leading by a TD with 6 seconds left. More of a game management loss than a true “better team won”
– Week 3: Close game and actually had the ball in Jax territory with 4 mins left then fumbled the ball. Division games should be close, whereas the Titans got blown out by the Colts and allowed AR15 to enter the game.
Better talent, better team play so far, and as Callahan said, “more desperate to win.” I have a feeling this might be our worst loss yet.
I’m impressed with the roster layout… is that your design?
Assuming we don’t have Latham and possibly don’t have Zeitler this game, our OL is in real trouble going up against Anderson and Hunter. Every OL is in trouble against them, but ours is in even more.
Their OL is also awful, and they also have some banged up players on their line. (Though one of them is an illness, which generally means he’ll be at full strength by Sunday.) But we don’t have the guys to take much advantage. We have nothing on the edge, Simmons is good inside, but without Sweat next to him, there’s only one player the Texans need to worry about down-to-down, which should make it pretty feasible for them to slow him down most of the time.
Stingley got injured last week and didn’t play the second half. If he’s out, that’ll give our WRs a much better opportunity. Christian Kirk started and played 2/3 of offensive snaps last game, so I assume he’s all the way back, which will give our CBs issues. (Nico Collins had a limited practice yesterday, but it looks like that was just for rest, not anything serious.)
The Texans currently have the worst offensive success rate in the NFL. Their OC change doesn’t seem to have done them any favors at all. But our OC situation is nightmarish as well. On paper, they have the better team, though we can probably say that every week this season (especially when Sweat is out and the right side of the line is our terrible backups).
Anything’s possible, but probably wise to not get your hopes up this (or any) week.
What’s crazy is that the Texans worst loss was by 7 points. Titans BEST loss was by 8 points.
Titans do seem to have that surprise win over the Texans in years where Titans have no business winning that game, so I won’t count them out yet. But I sure would not bet on them winning either.
The Texans are bad but have been competitive. I don’t think it will necessarily be a blowout but I expect the Texans to win.
With the trade this week, who do we think they will bring up or in? I would love for Keg Leg Restrepo to get a chance.

Id like to think we pull it off but Nico and Kirk are likely too much speed for our DBs.
**FIRE BRIAN CALLAHAN** or set a new record for 0-17.
Maybe Bo can start scheming faster plays for ward up. Cally is and still is atrocious. Should be a good game tho
