When it comes to the quarterback conversation as a whole, it is something that’s kind of a tough thing to do for us Saints fans because obviously you drafted Tyler Shuck 40th overall. Obviously have Spencer Rattler playing decent football right now and he has a lot of upside. But if you are in a prime position with a top three selection, you should be considering a quarterback. I’m not saying you have to take a quarterback, but if you have five picks in the 2026 NFL draft, which right now that’s what you’re walking in with, you should be continuing to look to get your guy no matter what. It is risky with only five selections. But if that first round pick is in the top three and you have a prime opportunity to bring in a next possible franchise quarterback, I don’t think you need to overthink this and you should look at a quarterback.

Stop. You can bring in Tom Brady to the Saints, and he may do no better than Spencer Rattler. Who ever the QB may be, in order for that QB to be successful, Kellen Moore must build a very good offense around him. A very good QB has a very good supporting Cast. Build around what he have. I think Tyler Shough should have been drafted in the fourth or fifth round. He now sits on the bench, getting paid almost an $11 million guaranteed rookie contract.

Rattler is a game managing back up stop saying he’s playing good he’s not he just throwing 3 yard passing to keep his completion percentage up. No wr has over 60 yards yet in a game how does that happen in 3 games in over 120 att. Olave season stats 23 catches for 165 smh check down king
GET AN OLINE THAT CAN STAY HEALTHY..doesn’t matter who we put in at QB. They will struggle. The run game will struggle.. WE HAVE NO OLINE..why is the default the qb..that fixes nothing.
I completely disagree, our priority is O-line & a true WR1… Rattler is our guy, dude makes so many plays when he’s given the proper protection from his O-line but these dudes aren’t even ready pre-snap. Saints need the best O-lineman they can get in the 1st round. Should be a no brainer

Cut Haener. Bring Jameis back since we're rebuilding anyway. Use the 2026 stock to Draft a QB and RB 1st and 2nd Round, use the rest to rebuild the O-Line. Use that time maybe a year or so in between Jameis being our bridge QB until either Rattler, Shough, or whoever else we pick wins the QB1 battle to continue rebuilding the rest of the team all around with free agency and 2027s draft stock.

We need a Franchise QB and it is obvious Rattler isn't it and we don't know with Shough ,but I will say he is probably in the same boat as Rattler. They will probably be career backups. If Saints have the number 1 pick they need to go with a QB.

I disagree, our priorities should be interior O-line or WR1. Rattler has the tools to be the franchise QB1, and then we still gotta see what Shough can develop into.
