  1. The Chiefs have 13 people on their injury report. Everyone but Fulton and Dana were a full practice on Wednesday, and they were limited practice. On Thursday, only Fulton was limited, while Dana joined everyone else with a full practice.

The Ravens have only 7 in the list, but it contains their entire starting D-line, and everyone except Likely, who was limited, was a DNP on Wednesday. On Thursday, Travis joins went from DNP to limited with Likely, but the other 5 were still DNP, and they have already rulled out Madubuike.

All in all, the Chiefs’ injury situation looks much better.

  2. No game is ever a shoo-in, but I feel good about our chances. The Ravens are a good team, but it’s not like they’ve been lighting the world on fire either. They have the same record as us and blew a double-digit lead in one of those losses. We’ve only lost once to them in Pat’s career, and we would’ve won that game if not for that CEH fumble. Spags also has a good track record against Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, and the defense has played really well outside of the first week.

  3. With the traditional run game struggling, I hope we see more touches for Worthy, Royals, Remigio around the LOS for hopefully some good easy yards.

  4. A win here goes a long way when you look wait for Rice to come back. Given their D-line concerns, I kind of hope Andy commits to the run a bit more to get guys right. Watching them play, I think one issue is that Andy (and Pat) give up so fast when they get a 1 yard gain and kind of do the “here we go again” thing with the running game. That overlooks fact that they need to grind teams down a bit to make it effective and then puts some mental stress on Pacheco and it’s clear he can’t handle that. Stick it out a bit more and let’s see. Also, Pat can’t get crazy with the throws because in theory Kyle Hamilton will have a pick or two.
