Jalen Ramsey, Peezy jr and Thornhill tripled up on the tight end, Payton Wilson running after WR 1 like WR 1 is towing his car and driving away with it.
Welp.. now that the tight end issue is solved we’re currently working to solve the issue with wide receivers not being covered. But the good news is that the tight ends aren’t burning us anymore. It’s not a scheme issue, or a communication issue.. and it certainly is not a lack of skill.. it’s just a matter of placement on the field, some guys should have been in different places, it’s a situational game, and we’re working on that. We smile in the face of adversity.
Hahaha, I’ll believe that when I see it on Sunday. Scratch that…multiple Sundays and other games throughout the year…
So Tomlin is confident the offense is moving in the right direction after the worst performance of the season to this point, and now Teryl Austin is confident we can defend TEs well after a TE scores two TDs on us?? Is our coaching staff living in the bizarro world?

Teryl is saying anything to hold on to his job for the season. Then a new DC will be hired/promoted next year and we’ll run the exact same defense & he’ll continue to keep his job for the duration of his contract.

I’m a Steelers fan but I’ve made a good bit of money over the years betting on player props for opposing tight ends. We never have been able to cover them.
I’m confident that my johnson will grow another two inches. What do I have to make me confident in that fact? Nothing.

It has been literally over 15 years since a team with good TEs didnt tear us the fuck up over the middle and I’m just supposed to believe that a DC who has squandered the most expensive defensive unit for years has magically turned it around in a few days since it just happened again on Sunday?

Tight Ends have been killing us for 25 years. 3-4 base defense just really can’t deal with modern TE’s.
