Hope he never plays starters the whole game again, not only does it not work but you gas them out for the next games as well

That’s very nice to hear actually
Good on him
JJ wasn’t great during the playoffs, but I can understand his actions to the reporters. I’m not great to talk to after a Lakers loss. I can’t imagine how I would be if I was coaching.
My favorite part about watching JJ with the press is how he ends interviews by just turning around and quickly walking away. He does it after almost every on-court interview. It’s like a switch just flips and it’s fucking hilarious
Good man, JJ. Humility’s a sign of real confidence. All the swagger and bluster we see around these days is just a mask for insecurity. Being able to acknowledge your own faults and mistakes is a sign of real strength.
Self awareness is a great virtue, I’m glad he knows that wasn’t the most impressive coaching series out there. To be fair, he wasn’t dealt a good hand, but he could have made a better job for sure.
Supporting him as a sophomore will be important because he was a rookie in the deepest sense when we think he didn’t have any coaching experience at any level before last season.
Does he want a cookie or something!? Reporting getting soft too now I see.
Thats cool
Hopefully his AI chat buddy has helped him manage his emotions.
Jokes aside, a quality human owns up to their faults and takes steps to do better. I like JJ, I think he’s a great coach for our guys.
