POWER SURGE! ⚡️ Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton both go deep for the Yankees in the 3rd inning! 😤
Here’s Judge. He struck out looking in the first inning. Still hitting 330. So he came into today with a 17point lead over the A’s Jacob Wilson. That’s for the batting title in the American League. If you take away Maguire and Sosa for obvious reasons, there’s this guy and there’s Babe Ruth, right? That’s it. Yep. And nobody ever thought we would see anybody that could compare to Babe Ruth, but this guy does. That one gets away from Rushman. Cabbao didn’t go. Yeah. A lot of times on first base and and third base because of the angle, you really don’t pick up how far the ball is going away from the catcher. You see he didn’t pick it up till late. Kind of got deadooted and then and then no chance. And Judges waving him a second. Interesting decision though. I don’t think he didn’t do it for this reason, but we saw it against the White Socks. First base opened up, they were intentionally walking Judge. Mhm. It’s an excellent point, especially with the lefty pitching, judge batting. That one’s driven deep to center field going back. Cows are still back. Track wall. See youa right over the wall into Monument Park. A two-run home run for Judge number 52. And the Yankees retake the lead. Well, great job by Caviierro not taking that base. Right. Eric Judge gets to swing the bat dead center field. This was a line drive. 1052. No, he’s just absolutely on a pace to to finish this this MVP race. And it seems to me that he’s just going off for it. Now, I mentioned Babe Ruth, right? This judge and Babe Ruth. He just hit this right up Babe Ruth’s forehead. Exactly. And it wasn’t a high-fly ball. That’s just a line drive. And not a lot of people can hit a line drive dead center field. So there’s a debate now judge or Raleigh as the MVP and both of them certainly have the credentials but Jeff Passin of ESPN went around talking to a lot of players active players. Highfly ball deep left center. Cows are back. Trap. Whoa. See youa. A long home run by Stanton. His second of the night. And it is 63 Yankees. Well, the big boys are carrying big sticks tonight. Cody, 451. I don’t think I’ve seen a ball over that went in over the Gillette sign out there into the bleachers. Right. To hold my beer moment. Wow. Wow. Wow. Rogers. You’re thinking, I don’t give up home runs. Watch this one. This is what you call aggression to the mean from Mr. Rogers. That is just annihilating.
Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton both hit home runs in the same game for the 58th time, both homering in the 3rd inning against the Orioles — the second homer of the game for Stanton.
