REKAP: ⚾️ Chicago Cubs 12-1 win over St. Louis Cardinals. ‘PCA becomes 1st 30-30-30 Cub!’

Welcome into the recap of the Cubs 12 to1 evisceration of the team I dislike the most in sports, the St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field in front of a packed house on a spectacularly gorgeous day in the great city of Chicago at the friendly confines. I’m David Cal. It’s brought to you by our great partners at Winrust. Winrust Bank is the exclusive home of Cubs Cheching. Click the QR code on your screen or go to winrust.com/cubs and get all the details you need on your very own Cubs checking account. That’s super cool. Cubs debit card. Take that, Cardinals. Take that. That’s how you beat your arch rival in a big big way. And you make history in the process. Let’s get right into it. It’s also brought to you by our great partners at Tasty Trades. stocks, crypto, futures, options, whatever you trade, the platform you trade on should be tasty.com. Peter Crow Armstrong made history today. He becomes the first player in Cubs history with a 3030 30 season, 30 home runs, 30 doubles, 30 stolen bases. He hit a two-run jack today and the Cubs pound the Cardinals 12-1. Cubs played a lot of long ball today. They got going first on a Nicoer home run. His seventh, it’s 1- nothing Chicago. PCA makes it 3 nothing Chicago. Michael Bush adds on to the fun with a home run. His 32nd, a careerhigh obviously. And then the cherry on top of the Sunday, Seiya Zuzuki, who looks like he’s starting to round into form. Seiya a grand slammer in the left center field bleachers. And the fun was big time at Wrigley today. I sat here in Vegas in the sun and I watched the game and it was spectacular to watch the Chicago Cubs take down their arch rivals. Let’s get into the pitching matchup we like to call winging it. Brought to you by our great partners at Hooters. 11 Chicago area locations original hooters.com. Colin Ray solid once again. Seven strikeouts. Colin Ray looks like he is going to be a piece you can count on in the postseason as a long man setup type guy. I don’t think he gets to start at least not in the first round of the playoffs, but I said earlier today on Coffee with Cap, I wouldn’t start Imanaga in the wild card. He looks terrible right now. Colin Ray looks like he’s really finding a second win and he was excellent today. Well, Miles Michaelus, not so much. Didn’t look good at all. Not as bad as he was earlier here when the Cubs just pounded him, but they pounded him enough and they deposited a blowout victory at the doorstep of the St. Louis Cardinals. Player of the game, that’s easy. App player of the game. There’s your promo code abt.com uh in Glen, my favorite store in the world. It’s got to be PCA Peter Crow Armstrong. As I said, first guy in Cubs history. 30 3030 30 homers, doubles, and stolen bases. Way to go, Pete. Well done. And the Cubs win 12-1. Here’s our look ahead. Here’s what you have to plan. It’s our Studio 41 home remodeling showroom. Look ahead. studio41.com. 13 locations. You get two more with the Cardinals. Finish this season the right way. Beat them tomorrow. Again, your magic number is down to one. That means any combination of Padres’s losses. They have three games to go and Cubs victories equaling one. And the Cubs are at home in the wildard round. Don’t worry about the Padres’s. Just handle your business yourself. Tomorrow, get up in the morning. You know the mantra, grab a cup of coffee, and find a way to win a baseball game. And you lock up homefield advantage in the wildard round. That’s it. And then you finish on Sunday with the Cardinals, you’re off on Monday. Tuesday, wild card round will start. So finish it the right way. That is our studio 41. Look ahead. Cubbies win, baby. Take that to my friend Chip Kerry, the voice of the Cardinals. Love you, Chippy. You’re a wonderful guy. Your team’s not very good. Take that.

the #ChicagoCubs got a much-needed win over their arch rival #stLouisCardinals on Friday at

  1. Boycott Wrigley Fields now! Da loveable losers forever cubbies gits massacreds bys da Padres. Cubbies gots no heart. PCA an Nico an Swanny an Cap actins da ignant uneducated fools. Cubbies moves tos Dalton an b Dalton Duds! Tears down Wrigleys Fields an puts da cemetery der. Take that Cap. 🤘🃏🎸🥃🍺🤤🪦🙉🦨🤡🧚😵🧱💩😎🌛👍🤣😂

  2. Before the Mets series, Seiya had 2 HR and 14 RBI's since the ASB. In the last 4 games he's had 3 HR and 10 RBIs!! He's crossed that 30 HR and 100 RBI mark. PCA is also looking much better recently, hope they keep this up

  3. Let’s go congrats to PCA hell of a win let’s keep this up and clinch home field advantage tomorrow and let’s end the season and sweep the cardinals let’s go baby playoff time is here now we need to have great pitching in the postseason I think rea can be a solid pitcher for us Horton and maybe Boyd and Jameson but shota needs to stop giving up the long ball

  4. Kap find a way to win a damn baseball game and guess what that's exactly what the cubs did today. This is the cubs I want to see in the playoffs this kind of production from the offense and great starting pitching. Magic number down to 1 let's go cubs take care of business take that

  5. Great game! Some of the big bats are getting hot again. Only knock on today was seeing the Cardinals fans sitting in the Pink Hat Guys seats behind home plate. That’s almost a sin!

  6. If you look at the entire Cubs lineup, this team can be deadly. They have impressive stats all around. My only worry is that in the playoffs the bats go cold like they have a habit of doing every now and then. With San Diego it’s best to get to them within the first six innings because their bullpen is close to lights out.

  7. I'm with you, Kap! If I have to chose between Shota and Rea for my last starting spot, it's definitely Rea. Shota's been atrocious since returning, Rea's been good in the 2nd half. Can't live in April & May. It's gotta be in the here & now.

  8. Pca liked a comment I made on the Cubs Facebook saying "It's time to take the reigns off". Pretty Cool, Also makes me think Craig hasn't been going All In every game and has planned to heat up before the playoffs.
