It’s a beautiful evening in the Bronx in a big weekend of baseball. The Yankees and the Blue Jays tie to top the American League East. These three games are going to decide who gets the by and the first of the three against the Orioles will be started by Will Warren as the Yankees try to finish it out with victories. This is going to be his 33rd start, which is as important as anything you lose. Garrett Cole immediately and Fried and Rodon was spectacular. But the fact that Will Warren made, this is going to be his 33rd start is awfully good and should be having some recognition. No question about the fact that he posts on a regular basis has been good and he’s had bright spots. He’s had maybe he has not had full games where he’s been brilliant, but he’s had sections of games where he’s been very good. That is drilled to right field on the run is judge and he makes the play. He got the Chicago Bulls, Jordan’s going on. He does old school hopping a step. Jordan ones. Nice. Must be the shoes. Let’s see if he can do it again in his final start of the year. Goldsmid puts a high fly ball to left, he gets under it and Dylan Beavers gets under that. Here comes aaron Judge later in nine offensive categories. Second at Cal Riley in home runs , fourth in RBIs first in batting. Can Rogers get them again. He does back doors. His slider and Rogers strikes out judge for the third time in four and bats in the last two games. Cody Milling centerfield and there’s a walk to Belgium. So two outs with a man on base and here comes Jan carlos Stanton driven out to right field going back o’neil turning , looking run for Stanton Yankees on the board. They’re up 2 to 0 for Stanton home run. Number 22 RB I 6061. He has gone through a little time where he wasn’t swing the bat as well. Put the ball in play three RBS last night, two of the night runs up on the board when he makes contact up again. That’s a great sign for the ball club, an early lead here on Orioles and a touch up Trevor Rogers in the first inning and that will be an E five and a base runner for the Yankees is slater safe. Good job by Kobe Mayo to keep that from going into the stands. Third error of the year and a runner is on for Anthony Volpe line drive out to the gap in left center field. Beavers gets on his horse jump said he makes the catch right in front of the Orioles bullpen. He whips the throw back to second base. This is as good as it gets right here. That ball came off the bat. I said there is no way that Dylan Beavers can get to this ball. It was out in left center field but watch this lunge right at the end. He turned a double play two out two on here for the Orioles Jordan Westbrook coming to the last week. The Yankees took three of four largely because of what they did in the spots. Jordan Westberg struck out on an 02 sweeper in the first. Warren makes a mistake with an 02 sweeper in the third. And the Orioles get three home on a Westberg weaver. That’s a Westie weaver right there folks. His first home run since August the 17th is an old weaver special 3 to 2 Orioles. So Caballero now on a lot of pressure right now on Rutman, one out judge now zero for seven against Rogers. Time for change. That one’s driven deep to center field. Going back. Cows are still back tracks in the Monument Park. A two run home run for judge number 52 and the Yankees retake the lead. And for the first time this season, Trevor Rogers allows four runs in a game. And for the first time this season, Trevor Rogers allows two home runs in a game. Looked like Ker had a beat on it and I’m watching him and I’m watching the ball and the next thing you know, the ball was gone here, this crowd listen to that MP. They’re letting their thoughts, both posts. Jordan on both posts, there’s a pitch down and in Bellinger walks for the second time, he scored on the home run by Stanton in the first. He just tied Hall of Famer Yrs with his 452nd home run of his career. The big boys are carrying big sticks tonight. 450. I don’t think I’ve seen a ball over that went in over the Gillette sign out there into the bleachers right to hold my beer and Ker can walk to second base with a screaming two out double. So he’s in scoring position. The Orioles had a three run rally with two outs in the third. Let’s see if they can do it again. Three, two pitch for Moore and he deals fastball strike three called. Didn’t need that one and did he need that strands a runner in the fourth. Warren still out there to start the sixth inning. It’ll be Tyler o’neill to start things off in the sixth, oil right center field, that ball is driven by Tyler o’neil. It will go. Tyler o’neill deep into the New York night for a home run puts the sound of silence over this stadium with an opposite field shot to bring the Orioles within two. No quit in this team. And for o’neil a long time coming, that is his first homer since August the fourth and he cuts that Yankee lead to just two runs. And here comes aaron Boone. Well, that ball is out and so is Warren, he’s removed as the Yankees going to the bullpen marker junior first out of the bullpen and he will face Dylan Carlson who took over left field for Dylan Beavers. It’s a little ground ball rolled to goldsmid has trouble picking in it. Carlson is saved. It was very slowly hit. The operation had to be perfect and it wasn’t for the four time gold glover. That ball had a lot of top spin on it too. 2nd and 3rd. But now with two outs down away for a ball, he walked them. So they’re loaded. Holiday is going to come to the plate and Aaron Boone to come to the mound again. So what do up they will call on Hill, Mark La Junior is out, Tim Hill, the left hander is in bases loaded and two out Jackson Holiday step to the plate. Goldschmidt fields to Hill and he beats Holliday to the bag and he gets out of trouble. Orioles get a run. They lead the bases loaded. We go to the bottom of the 6th 1st and 2nd with one out and the batter will be Austin Wells, a left handed hitter with power against Cano. It’s the wells swing on hit to the right side base, hit into right field. Here comes christian around third o’neill’s throw. It is off line. Christian scores 74 Yankees over the third RB I single. Austin Wells here at the stadium going nuts every time you see these hard hits by austin Wells whose year has been up and down a lot. But austin Wells now 10 for his last 22. So it’s really good to see them continuing their hitting and adding on. Not just one or two innings and nobody out guess what? There’s nowhere to put big G Stanton at the dish with the bases loaded. He’s got 22 run homers chopped to third. They’re going to, they thought about coming home instead they go to first Goldsman scores. So an RB I ground out for ST gives the Yankees an 84 lead here in the seventh. So another RB I his fifth tonight, Westbrook had to play at home and decided to eat it. Yeah, they got a break here because obviously Stanton not moving down the line, but you probably had to play at the place. That’s a great outing by Camilo Doval strikes out the side swinging beautifully done. We go bottom eight. That’s clearly his best effort. The best performance as the Yankees well done over the beard making his 63rd appearance of the year between the Pirates and the Yankees 26 for 29 in save opportunities. A very good, er, a opponents just two and two off the right hander bear to third base and he will take over Jordan spot at first one out and Tyler o’neill to 22 and got him on the splitter. The Orioles are down to their final out. Bears got some good stuff because all three of his pitches are plus pitches and Jeremiah Jackson, a right hand hitter is going to pinch hit for Dylan Carlson, a left hit and the pitch and the Yankees win a four pace with the Blue Jays tied atop the American League East Bednar closes it out home runs by Stanton and Judge and that provides the offense and the Yankees win another.
