Pressing question number one. If the Tigers don’t win their division, are their entire playoff chances doomed? I don’t think it matters if the Tigers win the division. I think they’re already doomed. I don’t think you could come back from that. 15 and a half up. That’s forever. But I think the Tigers might be kind of dead. Their playoff chances are 100% doomed because I believe in a thing called mojo. You never want to be the team that blew the division with a week left. The wild card teams that go on runs are never that team. It’s always the team that’s won eight out of 10 and you didn’t expect them to make it. I’m a big believer that once you get into the playoffs, anybody’s got a chance to win. So even if you don’t win your division, if you’re in, you’ve got a

  5. Tigers are going to the ALCS. This is the 2023 Rangers all over again. Their lineup is streaky and their pitching is absolutely dominant at points. Although they didn’t make major moves, their bullpen was bolstered at the deadline and I think recency bias kicks this channel’s ass all the time. A team’s momentum shifts constantly and sometimes it takes one inning, one play, or one pitch. If the Tigers get in they’re going to the ALCS, return to this comment when it happens (or when it doesn’t)

  6. Knorp looked so uninspired and dead inside it was actually kind of sad. He didnt even look like he believed what he said, just looked like someone held a gun to his head and forced him to say something positive
