Rockies vs. Giants Game Highlights (9/26/25) | MLB Highlights
On the mound tonight for the Giants will be the right handed rookie Trevor mcdonald. This will be his second start. He’s 338 on the, er, a and in his eight innings, he struck out four, walked a couple Ezekiel Tovar about ready to stand in Matt chapman. And that’s how this game gets started on a 53 put out. So here is hunter Goodman got him. He’s got a really good curveball and here’s an opportunity to take a look at it and there’s a base hit for crib, that’s 11 out of 12 ballgames. Now it’s also 10 straight for him. Inning continues with Jordan Beck. Way outside. Giants are coming up for the Rockies making his 26th start of the year and his 2/100 of his career in a Rockies uniform is a great comeback after just pitching one game last year, had a lot of run on that fastball sully and he induces a pop up good start. A 110th time this year. Rafi Devers has drawn a walk. Thomas needs two home runs this weekend for 30. No Giant player has had 30 home runs or more since Barry Bonds is here and left number 20 nine and that’s about as genuine a smile as he’s got in. Not like he’s afraid to smile a lot because he does. But you know how badly he wants 30 just one off one more and he gets it. That was his third off of his right hand. So here’s chapman chapman to third Carros really long throw and he’ll throw out his counterpart. Two outs. Here’s Bryce Eldridge good pitch there by Herman to strike out young Bryce Eldridge two run home run. Willie Adam, the Giants have the early lead two nothing giants, Jung Ho Le now one away driven to right. Fernandez is gonna watch this one off for the bottom of the archway and Lee is on the move. Put another dot up on that one and he pumps it out to the cripple alley and he was thinking three bags as soon as it left the, that brings the infield in Patrick Bailey. This is to third Caro. So glance and that’s a big out. The infield can drop back with two outs and young Grant mcrae will come up and takes a walk. Marquez, the pitcher for the Rockies. He’s a 10 year veteran. You have 1/9 place hitter up there. A guy who hasn’t played a whole lot. You don’t want to be walking him to face the top of the lineup. Ramos popped out to Tovar to open up the bottom of the first there that’s number 21. He got two breaking balls. He swings and misses and Then he gets a breaking ball that is just a hanger on A T and he hits it 439 ft. About halfway up the bleachers. That was a ball. He had a really long one to a similar part of the ballpark for his 20th home run. This one was even longer and there’s a shot deep right into the fourth archway. The C goes to center field heading for a second is Devers and he’ll go in there standing up with a double. So following up the long home run by Ramos Devers hits one just kind of a line drive into that fourth archway look to second with the next pitch and that one hit deep to left again but is going to be caught by Jordan be under just a little bit. There’s a third out, more damage done. Three more runs scored by the Giants after two, they lead for Trevor mcdonald. Is this like a playoff game? It really is and he’s pitching like it. He’s had two shutdown innings, five strikeouts all swinging this ball, seven strikeouts, nice breaking ball and it just drop it right there late at the bottom of the strike zone hit towards the gap. Jungle Lee got a jump another 123 innings for Trevor mcdonald who has retired seven straight. Bren Doyle flied out to the right fielder mcrae first time up the middle and it’s do you are completely clean? Defensive casey Schmidt knocked it down. Doyle will reach Braxton Fulford a strikeout victim. His first time up broken bat roller to the right side. So Braxton Fullford on an 02 pitch produces a hit. Rockies get two aboard for the first time tonight with one out. Ryan Ritter. The hitter can’t believe it. Guy swings and misses by that much. He’s not picking it up. All right, here’s Tovar. He likes the first pitch and a high drive center field go Ezekiel Tovar and it’s now 5 to 3/9 of the year for Tovar corey. I’m not sure what it sounded like down there, but up here it was loud. I hope the fans at home realize how hard it is to hit a ball to dead center. No doubt, as advertised on the first pitch, Trevor mcdonald ready delivers swing and there’s a pop up shallow center backing out is Adama moves to his left now as the wind carries it makes the ground but a three run inning for Colorado 5 to 3 giants, Adama gets hit by a pitch. So here’s Chapman. Chapman has grounded out to third and flied out to left off the end of the bat and a base hit and on the move, it just looks like he threw it on out there. Looks like it will be the end of the evening or on a lot of emotions and thoughts running through his mind as he walks off here in San francisco, Jayden Hill takes over the Giants leading 5 to 3 1st and third one out with Bryce Eldridge coming up driven to right. It’s in the park to Fernandez tagging is Adamus and Eldridge gets the job done. He does it on the first pitch. Sometimes mike that’s going to be the best pitch you get back in left will make the catch that in the inning. A run for the Giants on the sack fly by Eldridge 6 to 3 as we go to the sixth Bailey at third mcrae at second Devers at first two down 6 to 3. Giants. Willie adam just hit a rocket down the left field line his first time right past the 339 he got him up for a second. He might have fouled it, but that will end the inning. The Giants leave him load and he remains 63. You can’t not mention Trevor mcdonald who’s been terrific nine strikeouts and a one hop or a two or three or four hop ground ball to adam, one pitch, one out ground ball up the middle. Adam will throw off balance throw, got him and here he’s got two pitch, two outs after five pitches. He has left the impression the first strikeout. He’s got 10 walk off, the mound , got three hits and the Giants have two in scoring position for Patrick Bailey an opportunity here for Bailey where a hit could mean two more runs to center field retreats. Doyle makes the catch two men left the board in the seventh inning. We go to the eighth, the Rockies down by three to a board with his second hit a one out base runner for the Rockies. Now here is Goodman, the big power. He drives one into center field back a little bit. Jung Hoo Lee as he gets to the edge of the track, Lee flips it into the seats and that would ask for the ball back. And what does that mean? It means the runner gets to go to third. He forgot how many outs there were. So that will be an error on Jung. I don’t ever remember seeing anything quite like that but trying to work around it that time he goes around the inning which will make john Lee feel just a shade better. It remain six 32 down. Nobody on here is Doyle on the ground to short. Here’s Adam up the ball game in front of the sellout crowd. On this Friday night, the Giants will win their 79th game.

I was at this game and what a great win to Kick off Fan Appreciation Weekend!! Congratulations to Willie Adames for the award & that home run!! What a great game boys & especially to him!! Let’s go for a series win tomorrow 9/27 & hope Verlander has it!! What a great game!! 🧡🖤
jung hoo brother what are we doing :O
Let's go giants
When i see Eldridge first thing that comes to mind is Belt.
Willy you got two games left we don’t have October baseball, please just swing for the fences these next two games
"And that's how this game gets started." I've only heard that a million times. What happens if a road game starts with a lead off home run? "That ball is outta here! And that's how this game gets started…"
Too little too late. We shoulda made the playoffs this year. Absolute horsesh*t. Verlander contract cemented/symbolized we would break even this year.
Meaningless win…
Congratulations Giants to not going to play off
jung hoo lee so cute
😊
The Rockies announcers suck
I wasn't at the game, and I approve this message.
0:32 – Imagine swinging at that pitch. I'd probably start walking back to the dugout after that, too.
Good we can cement our 4th place finish in the West by taking down the only team we had a winning record against in the Division. GJ boys.
No doubt this game has all the idiot JHL haters pissed off because JHL will almost certainly finish the season with the highest batting average of all starting players on this shitty loser team.
i really want that Ramos, Devers, Adamrs, Encarnacion order to work so bad
❤❤❤
it's okay jung hoo 😅😅😅
Los coge 🏑🩼 de los rokees de colorado ya los fanático de colorado no le quedan corazónes de tanto sufrimiento con ése equipo tan malo

Season is com I ng to an end. Now we'll have time to find replacements for Buster and the Manager, along with a new catcher.
MLB is one of the great interests and pleasures in life but I cant stand the inequities in the league and havent looked forward to the series with COL this year as winning has an empty feeling and losing really stinks. I dont exactly feel sorry for COL but to go out there and get pounded all season really sucks. Lee is a good player and that mindless toss over the fence is emblematic of the indifference that can result when the organization throws away another season with a talented group of players thathave seemingly just been performing well by chance on any given day. Personally I get tired of the obvious attempt by a good many of the players to clock one out on every swing. The point has been run into the ground about the mythical 30 HR season by any player since Bonds like it was something out of the Bible but guess what SF won three series in six or seven years after Bonds with no 30 HR hitter and zero with Bonds and if he was like Jesus then why didnt SF or anyone else sign him after 2007? He was in fact one of the best players ever and the biggest draw in baseball but never played again. Without even a solid .300 hitter SF needs to focus on manufacturing runs and hustle. Lovello has taken a comparable group farther than Melvin this year by getting his hitters to put the ball in play and run. Koss brings this to the field every day and even Aurelia said it was a focus in March and it showed in April and May.
