Tonight, the stars will shine bright in the Lone Star State. The Texas Tailgator are victorious in their own state. DJ blast this one. Oh god. What a backflip catch. GR Meadows bare-handed back flip. Travis Fos got him. Moon. Yes. Yes. Yes. Super. Are you kidding me? Three up, three down from the Texas Tailgator. Kyle Jackson, a web champ. KJ, come on now. The clock really thickens. From Houston, the final series of the 2025 Banana Ball World Tour starts now. The Big League Ballpark where Banana Ball made his big league debut will be with a 2025 tour comes to its finale. the Texas Tailgators and the Savannah Bananas with 41,000 of our closest friends here in Houston, Texas. And hold up one moment. Hold the phone. I’m not Big Coast Scala. I’m Brett Lope. This the voice of the Texas Tailgator. He’s Josh Davski. Big coach 264 game Iron Man streak comes to an end tonight. But Josh, I couldn’t be happier to spend in the booth with you. You know, this may look like a cursed image to some, but I assure you the pleasure is going to be mine this weekend. It’s going to be electric. Speaking of curses, these Texas tailgators are trying to break that banana curse this weekend. And if they can, there’s pretty big stakes at hand for the Banana Ball Tour Championship. Well, when this place was the site for that first major league game a season ago, it had massive implications between the Party Animals and the Bananas. The same can be said this year. The Bananas have to secure a sweep if they want to come away with the one seed in the Tour Championship. Meanwhile, those Texas tailgators are trying to play spoiler yet again and ensure that they get a second straight series against the Bananas next weekend. And if they want to play the spoiler, they got to lean on their three allstars, including the man who’s going to be on the buff tonight, Christian Davis, almost doubling his strikeouts to all four sprints in the year that is 2025. The first year has been special. He’s the guy that’s going to start the game tonight. What about the guy that hopefully will close out a Texas Tailgator win? He’s John Reed. He’s only been the closer for the last two months. Three saves in that stretch, tripling his strikeouts to all four sprints. Johnny Boy has been absolutely special. And then we’d be well dismissed if we forgot about the best position player in this tailgator lineup. It’s Nick Lopez hitting over 350 this year and hitting in the three hole here tonight. That’s going to be your leadoff hitter this evening. And Travis Mono again he has been wonderful this year as well hitting 348 in the last two months as again when you look at this lineup top to bottom and Moon has been special. Taj Porter has been special since he came back in the cleanup spot. Brett Carson that’s the guy I want to watch down there in the seven hole tonight who’s gotten a hit in six of his last seven games as Jesse Cole’s out on the field and we’re going to see what he’s got going on. as we’ll take a look at the defense here now for the Bananas. Yeah, the Bananas clearly the best trick play team this season. From left to right, you’ll have Ty Jackson, Dr. Meadows, Ree, Selectiest. Third to first, Kyle Jackson, Ryan Cox, Jackson Olsson, and Eric Jones Jr. And the battery tonight, Jared Donaldelson, and Bill Loy. You’ve got to look out for Ryan Cox, the glove magician. Three trick plays away from breaking his record that he had last year on the 2024 World Tour. And we’ll have him miked up tonight. We might see him record history on the air with us. Oh, wouldn’t that be special? The glove magician again trying to break his very own record tonight and he’s going to be behind a pretty hefty right-hander. Yeah, that’s right. Donnie making his 11th start this season for the Bananas. Has a 6 and3 record and he’s second on tour with 59 strikeouts this year. Donnie again had a very very special past couple of months as well for the Bananas and again that’s why he’s been able to earn the start here tonight. Now Jessica, what do you got for us? on three. I need everyone here to start the clock. 1 2 3. [Music] Showtime. Leading off for the tailgator number 16. 41,000 of our closest friends. The Texas Tailgator Headliner Tour is over. But we’re not over here in the Lone Star State. Travis Mono in those beautiful pinst stripes against Jared Donaldson here in the final stop of the 2025 Banana Ball World Tour. I mean, talk about full circle where Banana Ball made its first ever stop at a big league stadium and now closing out 2025 here in its 17th and final Big League stadium here in this year. Travis Manoa had three balls and a strike. Did not have a ball for sprint the first three months of the year. Has five of them in the last month and a half. And he’ll lead off the ball game with one here. Tra will choose to stay over there at first. Now, really quick sprint defense work there from the Bananas. They’ve got it down to 7 seconds or less. Always the key for that team to hold guys to one base. And again, putting Mono in this leadoff spot’s really paying off so far for the Tailgator. Great to have a guy batting 333 or better over the last two months. Batt number one in that order. And also a guy who won the showman. His only other time in the leadoff spot this year, Indiana Stanley. A ball and a strike to him. Moon takes off for second. Indie check swing throw down. Bill Roy didn’t get him. Another stolen base for Travis Buno this year as well, his fourth this month. Yeah, he’s got that sneaky speed for the Texas Tailgator. He likes to run now. Six stolen bases on the season. And they’ve got to get aggressive as Stanley rips this one out to left field and it conquers the Crawford boxes before they record it out in the ball game. It’s the Texas Tailgator jumping out to a two-run lead here in the first inning. Roll that chain and jug jug jug. Indiana Stanley his fourth home run of 2025. Leads the Texas tailgator and he cartwheels on the home plate. They hadn’t hit a home run in a month, Josh. Unbelievable. Indie Stanley getting that pitch inside part of the plate. Didn’t miss it whatsoever. And for Jared Donaldson, we’ve talked about how spectacular he’s been. Things can be rocky for him sometimes out of the rotation. We’ve actually seen him put up a 9.28 earned run average in his starts this year when he’s in relief. It is a world of difference. That’d be a 2.68 earn run average for Donnie. Yeah, that’s pretty big difference. Seven runs if you’re keeping score at home there. Lopei over the head of Jackson Olsen making it three straight base runners to reach here to begin the ball game for the Tailgator. Oh yeah, the boys are fired up down there on the sideline too. Lopey, who some may say he’s been slapping recently, hitting only 320 this month. I mean, seriously, now stands over there at first. And it’s the quad father, Taj Porter. TP missed most of the month of August, able to come back at the end of August in Pittsburgh and then play the entire headliner tour. His only home run this year came against the Bananas back in Cincinnati. He’s quickly behind Donn here 0 and2. Lot of air under this one. Tailing towards that big foul territory over here. EJ runs out of room. Does a fan have it? No. You can tell with how frustrating this inning has always has already been for Jared Donaldson. Eric Jones Jr. over there by the railing. Had a quick head turn. could see the disappointment at the fans not being able to come out with that first out for Jared Donaldson. Tell you what, Josh Gillespie’s got a chance to get himself a foul ball tonight, too. The way this net is and as big as our window here is in the press box. The first EJ backand gots it. Got him. Just a tremendous play all around and it was a wise decision. We know Cox is hunting a trick play record right now for the Bananas. But you see a guy struggling on the mound to start the ball game. No time to transition between the legs behind the back. You’re focused on turning two and the Bananas do so successfully. Now it’s Mag Danford the newly led as of about two weeks ago. Out to Rat Reese Alexi tip drill and the first trick play of the night will be out number three here in the top of the first. but not before a two-run bomb from Indiana Stanley. And still good work for Jared Donaldelsson despite the rocky start. The double play and the trick play cap off a 4minute and 28 second frame for the right-hander. [Music] And now let’s take a look at our tailgator defense here tonight. Zack Watson, Indiana Stanley, Brett Carson, three of the fastest guys on this team manning the outfield. Justice and Datford on the corners. Hussein leading the tailgator in trick plays. The Houston, Texas native getting to play the shortstop position here in Dykin Park. And then your battery of Taj Porter and his best friend out there on the buff, the ace for the Texas Tailgator pitching staff and a man who’s a 2025 banana ball allstar Christian Davis. And it’s a well-earned all-star nod for Christian Davis who’s making his team leading 15th start of the season for the Gator. 1 and4 this season. But against the Savannah Bananas, he’s got a 2.08 08 earned run average. He’s leading the team with 29 strikeouts. And what has really impressed me is that as a rookie, he has thrown 10 innings in less than 2 minutes for this squad. He works super quick on the pitcher mound. And the Bananas are only batting a buck 29 against him this year. Wow. 208 RA if you’re keeping score at home on that. But hey, they’re hitting pretty well over the last couple of months here, Josh Tilleski, including that guy at the top of the lineup. Yeah, Dr. Meadows is the guy that we’re looking out for. He was the showman of the game last year he here in Houston and now this weekend he is focused on trying to win the batting title. He’s currently trails Jake Skull as you see at the bottom of your screen. He’s got a 371 batting average and this Dr. is the only man who may stand in Skull’s way when it comes to possibly robbing him of a triple crown this season. I know the party animals are having a rather large gathering tonight as well. Obviously big implications for them big tailgator fans. If the tailgator win, they secure the number one seat. Proudly pulling for Skull to hang on to that batting title as well. Dr. Meadows knows he’s got to go three for three tonight to at least have himself in good place tomorrow to get that batting crown. Well, he said he might take an interesting approach. We always know he’s hustling out any ball that’s hitting the infield. We may see some kind of slap hitting out of him, but also we’ve seen Dr. at his best a lot of times when he’s able to just poke the banana balls into right field. He did leave Dr. today in batting practice, which Dr. has only got one home run this year. He pokes this one into the stand. Second deck, juggled, not caught under the glove of CD. Backhand move can’t make the play. That’s a tough one off about a four dribbler. That’s exactly what Dr. Meadows is trying to do. He is so good at putting bat on ball. Clean single there for Dr. Meadows, especially considering what looks like a nasty hop there at the end for Travis Mono at second base. So a laid-off single after the first three tailgators reaching the top of the first. Pooky gets into one and that is going to be it to the boxes. Ty Jackson with a two-run shot. We got bombs away here in Houston in the first inning. And it’s a piece of mystery as well for Ty Jackson. The last time he hit a home run for this Bananas team, he was a collegiate banana and it was the last run scored as they secured a coastal plane league championship over the Wilson tops. So it is the first career banana ball home run for Tai Fly. Hit the people with the 67 Sally. Josh, how many rows you think that went in the Crawford boxes? About six or seven rows deep, you’d say? Yeah, that’ll do. How about that? I don’t know the conductor on the train, but he might have to refuel that thing by the fourth inning if we keep going this way. Dan Ho, two balls, no strikes. Talking about Allstars, another all-star there at the dish for the Bananas. [Applause] Wow. I mean, we talked about our starting pitching here tonight, Josh Gillespy, and people at home might think we didn’t know what we were talking about. Well, the impressive part of this is when we saw one game last year in Houston, there were only two total home runs in that game. We’ve already got two here in the first inning. As Ober gets good lumber on this pitch from Christian Davis, and that will ricochet off the right center wall. Overburst wheeling around second base and he is in standing with the triple for the Nanners as the ball gets away from Tosh Porter and Overbur thought about scoring for a second. Wisely pumped the brakes. Danny Oh man, that dude can run well for a guy his size. I love that was gone. You see it ricocheted off the top of the fence out there in the bullpin in right center. And now the inning winning run stands at third. Still none out here. Christian Davis wants a new banana ball. The party animals unfortunately teed off a CD last Friday night. And the Bananas are starting to do much of the same here tonight. Christian Davis threw over 100 pitches in his four innings last Friday night in Round Rock. Gave up six runs. A third one here in the bottom of the first would give the Bananas a point. Reese Alexiatis 0 and2. This is a good situation for Reese Alexiottis. Still the tour leader in walkoffs for the Bananas, but he will swing through some high cheddar there from Christian Davis. And it is a massive first out for the Texas Tailgator. And that’s exactly what you want to see from CD. Movement on that fast ball, little rise, little horizontal break. and he’s able to get out number one. Lefty lefty match up. Ryan Cox, we talked about him in the trick play category trying to break his own single tour record tonight. Now he’s got a chance to add another walk-off to his totals. Coxy also an allstar. I mean the trick plays stand out, but one of the best offensive, if not the best offensive campaign of his career here in Banana Bowl. Certainly the best for Ryan Cox. hit his first two home runs this season has kept the batting average around 300 as well and just such a consistent contact bat and that’s a big reason the tailgator have the infield shifted in here against Coxy expecting him to try and put it in play. Taj Border gets to it. He can’t get the banana ball though. Dan Ober scores on a wild pitch and the Bananas take inning number one and lead the ball game one to nothing. [Music] And they’ll dance it out there. How about that inning? A couple of homers. Dan over scores. The Bananas lead it one to nothing here from Houston, Texas. We’ll talk to you in a moment. More here on True TV. roses to you our beautiful fans. So if you would like a rose, let us hear you. Happy birthday. [Applause] Number two, you’re watching all presented by Tropical Smoothie Cafe here on True TV. And boy, we’re glad you’re joining us. 41,000 of our closest friends here in Dykin Park. And you all at home in the final stop on the 2025 and World Tour. And Zack Watson just almost gave Josh Gilleski a foul ball if that poorette wasn’t there. Tv, I know you’re itching to get one tonight, man. You know, it’s been my dream. A lot of runs there in that first inning where the Bananas came out with the point as Donnie. Oo, I thought he got a strike out. Just a piece of it there from Zack Watson. Two-run shot from Indiana Stanley. A two-run shot from Ty Jackson. And then Dan Ober scored on a wild pitch in what was a wild inning number one. Ball and two here to Zack Watson. And that one I get him. Donnie, he’s got a little case silly for us. Him and Bill are on. [Applause] Oh yeah, Donnie and Bill definitely just brought a little sexy back. Well, they’ve had some of the most fun strikeout celebrations of any tandem on the Savannah Bananas this season. It’s really nice to see Jared Donaldson get off to a good start after a rocky first inning. Four of the first five pitches, strikes, and Donnie collecting the K there against Watson. Brett Curse getting to play against the Bananas. He and Danny Hinsley, the two guys that get compared to each other all the time. Be everywhere Brett and Danny do it all. Brett has now moved out of the closer role into the setup role on the pitching side of things. He’s a starting right fielder here tonight for the Tailgator. Chopper pass Donny’s glove. Jackie between the legs. Trick play. Book it for out number two. There was a little extra hutba on that throw from Jackson Olsson as well. Slow roller off the bat of Carson. Olsson able to charge. And you see a firm throw under the legs to Eric Jones Jr. for the second bananas trick play tonight. Jason Art my July hitting now here in September. And boy, he’s been special in the month of September. four for eight here in the Texas headliner tour and he’s the donut batter tonight. Why do I why do I say that? Because his teammates love to make fun of him anytime he’s the donut batter. You hear the people here in Dykin Park, they want to get their donuts, man. Jason gets backed up off the plate and one of the more dangerous hitters. had a walk-off last weekend in the win in Round Rock. Actually came away with RBI’s in both contests in Round Rock. The impressive part about it, both times he was coming off the bench for that squat. He’s able to hit whether he’s starting or just playing in a tight pinch as he goes down swinging. Earns the fans three donuts courtesy of Duncan. And it’s a two strikeout inning for Jared Donaldson in 2 minutes and 20 seconds. Christian Davis and Taj Porter. Get to talk to those fellas up next here on Troop TV. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] The entire side [Applause] [Music] win this thing. [Applause] World [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Laughter] [Applause] [Laughter] [Applause] Heat. [Applause] Heat. Back here at Dying Park in Houston, Texas, the tailgator, the bananas here in the home half of the second inning. And there’s some guys in some cow costumes, Josh Tleski. Was that You think that was planned? I think so. How did they get that through TSA? I mean, you showed up in a draft costume a couple weeks ago, so I I don’t remember that. Anything’s possible, I guess. Ryan Cox will lead off the home half of the second. He was at the dish on the wild pitch there that scored Dan Oburst and the point there in the bottom of the first. CD quickly head 0 and two. Got him. Ring him up on three pitches, CD, and play that sweet music. Nice execution for Christian Davis and quick work against Ryan Cox. Only three pitches and Taj Border with the frame on the outside corner. That’s perfect. It’s that two seam fast right now from Christian Davis that’s doing a lot of damage early on with his strikeout numbers. And two guys that just have such a good rapport with each other. Teammates for two years at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Taj was CD’s personal catcher those two years and guys that really feed off each other. Taj a big reason why Christian Davis is here in Banana Ball is now quickly ow and two to Bill Aoy. Five straight strikes from CD Bill pokes this one into the crowd. It’s got a lot of back span. Oh, and through the hands of a man in a cowboy hat. Break my heart one time. Well, Bill’s got a pretty important streak on the line this weekend. He’s trying to go the entire 2025 World Tour without fouling out to the fans. Only did so once last year. Was in the final game in Miami. He’s hoping he doesn’t do it here in the final series in Houston. Back foot slider. Almost the back foot for Bill Loy. And he’s been special over the last couple of months. 467 batting average. Yes, that’s correct. 467 batting average. And no, I’m not trying to make a 6-7 reference there for those keeping count at home. That’s legitimately what Bill’s been batting since August the 1st. Ball force sprint opportunity for him here though. And he’ll get it. Stumbles out of the box a little bit. Throw bounces to Hussein, but the captain for the Bananas. Bill Roy will stay at first. just continues to put together really impressive played appearances for the Bananas. Now has extended what is an 11game on base streak for the Bananas. That’s one of the 10 Banana Ball Allstars for the Bananas. Flash Malachi Mitchell is going to run in place to Bill at first and one of those other allstars Kyle Jackson at the dish. KJ man, what a rookie phenomenon he’s been. gets into it out to right field and KJ walks off the second with a two run liftoff here in Space City. He has been the tailgator of Killy’s heel in the limited times these two teams have played. now has two doubles, a triple, two home runs, and eight runs batted in against the Texas Tailgator. And for a second straight inning, it’s the Nanners earning the point here in Dyken Park. Three dangers in two innings. Shall I say blast off? Yeah, that’s just middle middle Joshki. Wow. Let’s see what the man Anna’s got down there for us. [Applause] [Music] All the single ladies put your hands upke on the trip. Another brother notice me. I’m up on him. Up on me. Don’t pay him any attention. My tears here. Three good mad at me. If you like it, then you should put a ring on it. If you like it, then you should put a ring on it. I want you on it. If you like it, then you have a ring on it. [Music] If you like it, you should have put a ring on it. If you like it, you should have put a ring on it. The only way I want you to put a ring on it, you should put a ring on it. If you like it, you should put a ring on it. the only thing you should have put a ring on. Give it up for the minator [Applause] single. What you know about that, Joshua? I’ I’ve talked to some before. You sure have, man. You sure have. Shout out to Turtle Races. Donnie going to tow back in on the rubber here. Threw up a donut in the top of the second. Now he’ll face 910 and one here in the tailgator lineup. Taylor Justice, man that moved to Dallas, Texas a few years back. He’s going to take one just a hair inside. Vincent Chapman behind home plate tonight. Had to think about it a little bit. Wow, man. And these bananas, they’re playing here early at least, like they know what is on the line here for next weekend, Josh. Yeah. And they’ve had the offense humming for quite a while now. We’ve seen in the recent games the Bananas jump out to these early leads or at least are able to tackle the middle innings against some of the bullpen arms for the firefighters. They’re able to hold it the rest of the way. They’re hoping the same can be said tonight here in game one. Again, really good start here to the ball game. Taylor Justice. That ball almost touches the roof. Ty Jackson in front of the track. Tip, drill, bucket. Third trick play of the night for the Nanners. And it’s come at three different positions for this team as well. Started with Reese Selecti right field. Now it’s the other corner outfielder Tai Jackson getting involved. The perfect tip. And yet more emphatic celebrations from Tai Fly. Man, Pookie’s having himself a night. We’re just here at the top of the third. Special as Jordan Hussein and the Houston, Texas kid takes one off the elbow guard. The first pitch he sees in here in the hometown of Dykin or in the home stadium of Dykin Park, I guess. Welcome home, huh? And now a special moment is hitting in the spot of Travis Mano. It’s Megan Wiggins. [Applause] and a special year she’s had since joining the Tailgator on their college tour. She’s got a couple hits in that stretch. One that gets the bananas in Pittsburgh off of Carell Prime, a University of Georgia graduate and a three-time all SEC honory there and an all-American in her senior campaign in South Pole. And you can see a 286 batting average, two runs batted in for Megan Wiggins. She just finds ways to get on for this tailgator squad. Little 322 [Music] little side step. Wow, this is an intricate one, Josh. [Music] And Donnie delivers one right down the middle. Wow. Just going with straight cheddar right out of the dance. I mean, he’s very used to that, having done these 322s since 2023. And he comes away here with the strikeout against a Megan Wiggins. It is yet another three pitch strikeout in tonight’s ball game. Yeah, that’s just three straight fast balls. Top of the zone there from Donnie. He’s really feeling himself here. The only batter he’s let reach in the last seven was the hit by pitch from Jordan Hussein. This guy’s first time up hit one in the Crawford boxes. Two-run shot from Indiana Stanley who’s quickly behind 0 and2. Oh man, another three pitch strikeout from Donnie. Oh, and him and Bill’s going to do the thing again. Well, maybe not. Donnie thought about it, tossed the glove and said not today. just dialed in Jared Donaldson. Six pitches, two Ks. Now it’s time to go down to the field. Our bananas foster family of the night. Across the United States, there are over 400,000 children and teens in foster care without a permanent home. Look around. That’s enough to fill Dyken Park 10 times with the number of children in care. To raise awareness and support this community, we created Bananas Foster, the official nonprofit of Banana Ball. Our organization is dedicated to celebrating those in the foster care community while educating and inspiring others to get involved. Tonight, we are celebrating the Cantou family. Davelin and Randy always had a heart for children in foster care and a passion to care for as many children as they were able to. Alongside their four biological sons, Davelin and Randy opened their home to children in care four years ago. In total, the Cantus have welcomed three long-term children into their home. Fans, please join us in celebrating the Cantou family. [Applause] the Cantou family, man. A beautiful here with Bananas Foster here tonight with the Texas Tailgator and the Savannah Bananas. And if you want to learn more about Bananas Foster or want to donate to Bananas Foster, you can text Bananas to 50155. More Banana Ball up next here on True TV. [Applause] [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Hey, we told you we was going to talk to him. We just didn’t tell you when. Taj Porter and Christian Davis. Welcome to national television, gentlemen. Hey, Brett. Guess what? What you got TP? I know it’s like it’s a little bit of time, but guess what? Tailgator’s coming to play now. We want to start in the third inning. What did you say during the break there? We We always play after the third inning anyways. We love to do that, man. All right. It’s your It’s you and CD show. Talk to us. Hey, it’s just like we back in college, man. We’re good. We’re good. Yeah. Yeah. Got a boy. Good spot. And guess what? Yeah. That’s the same pitch. That’s the same pitch, baby. That’s the same pitch, baby. [Applause] Yes, sir. Good. Let’s go. Finish here. All right, baby. Come on. On you. [Music] Yes, sir. CD. Hit that sexy Dexi on him. Hit that sexy Dexi. Yay. Yes. All right, let’s finish the hit. Hey, you know, we just we just coming to play now, baby. Come on. Hey, how you like that sexy Dexi? Oh, yeah. I mean, you look exactly like him. Second strike out of the ball. Game out. Number one here in the bottom. What was that? What was that? Good. Good. Good. Come on, man. We’re good. [Music] I like that. A ball in the strap. I like that. Hey, CD. What’s up? You remember the old hump? Yeah. That’s right. Good. Oh, that almost went over. Oh, man. Hey, you got my play on words right there. The hump. Yeah, I did. You see? The Humpty Dumpy. The Humpty Dumpty. Oh, we got to give him nothing. Uh-oh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Yep. Oh my. You got to get it down. And that one’s gone. Denny Hley hits another home run for the Bananas. And it’s a walk-off here in the bottom of the third as they take a three nothing lead. Three straight innings and three straight home runs for the Savannah Bananas. Hley now four for eight this season against the champions. This is coming especially strong in the second half. And the already out to a three nothing lead. They are trying to secure that series. Christian T, we appreciate y’all. We love y’all. The Bananas lead three to nothing after a high. Bring it right here. Let’s go. Jared. Emily and Jared. How long have you guys been together? Three months married. Three months married. All right, Emily and Jared, show us what you got. [Applause] We’ll try over here. Your name? Lacy. Lacy. Chris. And how long have you guys been together? 12 years tomorrow. 12 years tomorrow. Let’s show them what love is. [Applause] The home of the Houston Astros here at Dykin Park is where you get to watch Banana Ball presented by Tropical Smoothie Cafe here on True TV And if you’re rooting for those boys in yellow tonight, you’re going to be awfully happy. They lead three to nothing after three frames, which is the maximum number of points they could have scored in that span. And a new ratty on the mound, the veteran Gel Prime. Yeah, first man out of the pen for the Bananas, making his 34th appearance this season. Prime has a 7.10 earnner run average when following Jared Donaldson out of the pen. He’s allowed 10 hits in five innings pitched in September. Things are a little rocky right now for Prime Time, but on the bright side of things, last weekend he became the third pitcher on tour to induce 100 trick playouts this season, joining Noah Nisnic of the Bananas and the Party Animals, Brett Helton. Y’all ever just listened to Josh talk about stats like like that? I I’m just sitting here. I mean, I’m listening to what he’s saying. I’m digesting it. This is so so beautiful to listen to. A real private induces a lot of ground balls and hopefully for Ryan Cox’s sake can induce him a couple maybe three of them here so he can break that single season trick play record. That’s right. We were put on watch about Ryan Cox trying to get that trick play record. Nanners have three tonight. None of them have come from the glove magician. This what into the lower concourse. Was it caught? It was a first F10 of the night comes off the bat of Nick Lopez. [Applause] Well, now we’ve got conflicting reports. Reggie Lian signaling no catch. Vincent Chapman signaled catch. And that will lead us to an umpire’s review to determine whether this foul ball was in fact caught by the youngster. Yeah, Mick, he’s fired up down there. You’ve seen him get ejected in his minor league days a couple times. Josh, what we got? looked like it went into the glove. That’s looking good to me. Yeah, I I unfortunately would say that that’s an F10 and that’s out number one here for the tailgate right now the challenge. There is still 45 seconds remaining. So, the umpire is going to make sure they can get a good look at this. But from my vantage point up here in the broadcast booth, looked like a pretty clean catch to me. I think the difference here is that person who caught the ball, it’s in the hat, gives it to the young man. I don’t know. It looks like there’s a hat and a glove in there. Either way, ladies and gentlemen, one of the two. After further review, the ruling on the field is a fan caught foul ball for an out. And that’s it. That young man right there records the first F10 of the night and all Lopey can do is smile about it. I bet he can’t wait to go to school on Monday. Say, “Hey, were y’all watching True TV on Friday night?” I bet out number one in the top of the fourth inning in Madame Walk. Yeah, get it on the Instagram page. Oh, now Vance. He’s getting dusted off the plate here. Shake that thing, Vince. [Applause] Let’s hear it. You missed out on this, haven’t you? Oh, man. We We So, we had that one time Vincent was with us one weekend on the college tour. I believe it was in Mississippi. So, I’ve seen Vincent shake his rump approximately two times this year. Twice in Mississippi. I’ve getting gotten to see it just now here in Houston, Texas. I hope this one was just as magical. Oh, man. You’re close second though, Josh. I tell you what, they play single ladies. You know, it’s kind of like the old Elvis adage, you can’t shoot below the waist when you uh when you get that sold. Taj Porter deep right OTP. Don’t do it to him. The Louisiana native hits his second homer of the year and he gives the boys in blue and orange some momentum. [Applause] Well, that’s a big hit that Taj Porter has been looking for for the Texas Tailgator. Hasn’t been exactly swinging the hottest bat since returning from a knee injury. Just his second extra base hit, but it is a big one. is like he said, tailgators, they’re trying to be a third inning and on team tonight. Didn’t exactly work out for them last inning, but maybe it will here in the fourth. You know, you thought with the roof being closed, the cold air in here, ball’s not going to fly. Yeah. Okay. Taj middle fast ball. He knew it, too. [Music] And now Mac Danford’s got something for us. [Music] Wide rock. I got two miles till he makes headed straight for him. I’m going home. Going to load my shotgun way by the door and light a cigarette. He wants a fire. He’s got one. He ain’t seen me crazy yet. [Applause] I sound like a real man. [Applause] Oh man. Wow. He’s going to see gunpowder and lead back. Oh, he’s got it in his right eye. Poor guy. [Applause] He’s licking it off his lip. Josh Gillespi. I mean, maybe we should give that guy some Rex specs or something. Protective eyewear of some sort. Oh man. Reminds you of the you live and you learn. The great ’90s legends here that played not in the Astrodome, but early 2000s here in Dyking Park, formerly Minute Midfield. A lot of Rex specs we’re seeing here, especially when that roof’s open. Oh, wow. Great pitch from Prime. Ball and two to M the team leader an RBI here for the tailgator. Hit off the end of the bat over the top of the bag and Seth Markham rules it foul down there at first. That was a close one, Josh. Yeah, hard to tell whether it stayed over the bag or not. I think you put that through a review, you’re not going to see anything overturned, but hopefully Carell Prime able to keep the ball on the ground like he tried just there against Matt Danford. Good call there on the outer hand. Sunshine in the gizzy costume with the unicycle just taking a break down the third baseline. The guy’s been pedaling hard today. Hopefully we’ll see him in between the lines later on. back into the crowd. Another chance for a fan caught out. Dropped. That young man didn’t bring his glove. Neither did Josh Teleski, but he’s going to catch one tonight. I don’t need it. Wow. Spicy Tfki. [Music] Prime and Mack, they’re going to do the 3-2 here yet again. Mac draws the ball for a spread. He’ll be content with one bag. [Music] And Josh, right now that challenge that ruled the fan caught foul ball and out is looking very paramount here early on in the top of the fourth. Yeah, certainly could have, you know, could have tacked on an extra run there for the tailgator instead. Only one run on the board, but M. Danford able to work a really nice plate appearance there against Prime. Earned the ball for Sprint as this one floated into the second deck and the fans unable to handle that one in the first row. Tried to go a little little Willie Maze but not basket running away in front and couldn’t bring it in. Zack Watson struck out his first time up and will strike out his second time up. Carell Prime gets out number two here in the fourth. Zack Watson’s obviously been one of the spark plugs all season for the Texas Tailgator. A guy they love having either at the top or in the middle of this order. But when he’s played the Bananas this season, the numbers have been practically non-existent. Lad is now just 2 for 22 against the Nanners. Dr. behind the back. Wow. And then he pokes it out a little bit. He pinned it to the backside. Wow. The pride of Idel George and pin that banana ball to his peach. More banana ball up next here on True TV. [Music] your hands up in the air. Here we go. Get a clap and follow along. Here we go. [Applause] Get those arms going. Here we go. [Applause] Keep it going. Hands up. [Applause] Keep it clapping as we shuffle. Listen, I love Split, but I also love me some Orbit. I mean, how cool is that? Making his way out here to Dykin Park. Yeah, you just know that the relationship between these two guys is pretty incredible. Can see them doing some choreography together. I mean, that’s that’s magical, man. You know, the relationship that hasn’t been good tailgator pitching in this Bananas lineup and it’s remained true here tonight, Josh Tleski. Yeah, it’s truly been a very interesting year for the Texas Tailgator and their pitching staff when they played this Banana squad. A lot of woes for this team. and they’re 1-5 against the Bananas, averaging three outs in 4 minutes and 3 seconds, that’s a good mark. But 24 ball force sprints compared to just eight strikeouts in six games, that is incredibly poor. And we’ve seen the Tailgator getting more strikeouts against the Bananas tonight, but the Bananas are getting the long ball any way they want it right now. Already three home runs for the Nanners tonight. And that’s the one thing that the Tailgator were actually succeeding in against this team. Yeah, a lot of home runs tonight. Five already. Two from the Tailgator, three from Bananas. If the long ball is your thing, you’re going to want to keep it right here with us on Troop TV. Christian Davis, man, had been very, very good against Bananas coming into tonight. Unfortunately, has conceded three points in three innings so far. is Jackie the great eight got somebody down there with him. [Applause] I got chills multiplying and I’m losing trouble. It’s electrifying. You better shape up. I need a man. My heart is set on you. Better shape up better to my heart. I must be true. I want you [Music] big scall. I hope you’re watching somewhere there tonight cuz I know that’s exactly what you’d be saying after that. Granny Smith aka the gangster granny. Her grandson Ross Smith. They have a YouTube channel. You’ve seen it there. Over 5 million subscribers. There’s Ross right there. And able to do the walk up there with Jackson Olsson. I mean, she’s looking tremendous. Wouldn’t you agree? Wow, man. I wish I could have a tan like that. No kidding. Jeez. I mean, we’ve been outside all summer and I’ve seen a lot of vitamin D, but I can’t quite get that dark. Jackie, what up? You talk about a guy who maybe didn’t start off the year the way he wanted to, hitting 270 in the last couple of months here for the Bananas. And again, the trick plays have always been there for the great eight, but he’s been swinging a really good stick here as of recent. Out to Travis Mano at second. Oh, off the glove a couple times between the legs. Trick play. Book it. The first of the night for the tailgator. And then Taylor Justice and Seth Marco with a backflip. That’s banana ball. And a much needed trick play for the Texas Tailgator as well. A little second base on second baseman prime. Moon between the legs, flips it up to himself, and you see a slight tip off the glove before he fires it over to Taylor Justice. Intricate stuff from Travis and it pays off as it’s a quick first out for CD. Yeah, Trav is a guy he knew that trick plays were not where they needed to be through the first few months of the Tailgator Tour. And he has not only doubled, but he’s tripled his trick plays over the last 6 weeks as everybody coming in. Ball four sprint defense and Dr. will reach for the second time tonight. A single first time up a sprint right here. [Music] We’re going back to Mono there just for a second. When he was coming into Banana Ball as a visitor last season on Banana Ball’s developmental team, he made it very aware that he wanted to have three consistent trick plays in his repertoire. Now coming to Pinch Run, a seventime pro bowler and Hall of Famer from your Houston Texans. Please welcome Andre Johnson. How cool is this? One of the greatest wide receivers of our generation, a pro football hall of famer, and a Houston sports legend, Andre Johnson is going to run here for the Savannah Bananas. Electrified the Houston folks when he played on the grid iron. And now he is off and running as Ty Jackson hits this over to short. And it’s the Texas Tailgator turning to as soon as Andre is brought onto the bases. Hussein picking up a trick play and the Tailgator earning a point as well here in the fourth inning to cut into the Bananas lead. Well, I’m sorry, Andre. I I hate that, but Oh, we got a fan challenge. Unfortunately, Andre is going to be out either way there in second. But Ty Jackson, that was the close play over there at first. See the confetti has been popped. Ooh, that’s close. What you got on that, Josh? That’s close. I I liked the angle we just had. Yeah. Frame by frame on that banana ball. Wow. The old adage is tie goes to the runner. But the call on the field was out. Correct. That’s one of those I think you just got to go with whatever it was on the field. For my money, it’s close enough. It looks like it’s in the glove of Taylor Justice over at first base at the same time. Ty is hitting that bag. And I just don’t think you have enough concrete evidence to feel confident overturning that call. I mean, if nothing else, big time ups to Tai Jackson for running a hard 90 right there to even make that a close play. Again, trick play either way will count for Jordan Hussein when he went to second. Right. Correct. Ladies and gentlemen, after the field stands as called and the Boobirds fly down here at Dykin Park. I thought we were in Texas. Josh DKI. My goodness. Wow. Now, the young professor, he’s coming out. Announcements in Banana Ball history. We’re going to be unveiling all of the cities that we’re going to be going to in 2026, but we’re also going to be unveiling two brand new Banana Ball teams. And everybody wants to know who is going to play Banana Ball for all of these teams next year. We happen to have some players that think they have what it takes to be a banana baller here tonight. And you’ve got to be able to do a lot of things to play this game, but something you’ve got to be really great at is a good banana ball walk up so you can go viral across all social media. So, we have two players and some of their teammates tonight that are going to compete and you’re going to have to decide who has the best walk up of our banana ball prospects. It’s going to be first base side versus third base side. First on the first base side, give it up ladies and gentlemen for Jordan Brewer. [Applause] [Music] Chris, myself CEO [Music] [Applause] [Music] just turned 16 and I got six hot but all right give it up for Jordan Brewer on the first base side and representing our fans on the third base side. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Brett Sanchez. [Music] [Music] [Music] Don’t take your lovely. [Music] All right, fans. It’s time for you to vote who did it better. Make a little noise if you think our winner is Jordan Brewer. And now make a little noise if you think it’s Brad Sanchez. Going to have to give this one. Brad Sanchez is the winner. If those guys look familiar, it’s because they are some visitors from 2025. And that makes us look forward to 2026. Joshki. Yeah, certainly exciting that we’re going to have the Banana Ball Championship League selection show on October 9th, 6:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPN 2, ESPN Plus, Disney Plus, and the Banana Ball YouTube. We’ll announce new teams, the full schedule, have some special guests, and more as we welcome in the club magician, Ryan Cox, to the broadcast. Coxy, I know we’re supposed to talk to you about defense, but what’s gotten into the bananas bats tonight? We must have take some from New York. We look like the Brown Plumbers tonight. Yeah, I mean, the ball was flying at BP and you and I talked about it. This cold air like I don’t know how the ball’s going to fly in the game. It it it’s flying right now. Yeah, boys are swinging it well. I mean, some good aggressive packs. Just want to keep seeing good approaches out of them. I mean, Tai, Pause, KJ, of course. It’s really cool to see them be successful. Obviously, Taj got his, and he got his. It’s good for the fans, man. Well, we’re looking at it right now. You’re still three trick plays away from breaking your own single season record. You just had an opportunity tonight. Yeah, maybe we’ll speak that into existence right here. It’d be nice to get a little ground ball, but uh pretty cool. Pretty cool to see what we’ve done as a team and uh push those trick plays to an even higher number. That was a good pitch for it. And Ky, the really interesting thing from my standpoint is each of the last two seasons you’ve told me the goal was never 200 trick plays as Taylor Justice singles into left field for the Savannah Bananas. You said 200 trick plays wasn’t the goal for you, but now you’ve accomplished it each of the last two seasons. I mean, are you are you thinking that hard about breaking this single season record yet again? Uh yeah, a couple weeks ago I didn’t think I’d have a shot and uh had a good game in New York. Let’s go. T got one right here. Uh fake them out. Uh but yeah, after that good weekend in New York and then starting to push it, I’m definitely thinking about it this weekend. Uh just want to kind of set the bar high. I mean, we got a lot of great competitors in this sport and uh it’s the the asset that I think I bring the best to Banana Ball. So, I’m just trying to do my job at the best of my ability. With that offensive year that you’ve had, how special though is it for you to have back-to-back years with 200 plus trick plays, knowing that that like you said, you’re the best that’s ever been in our sport at that. How special is that that you can take that with you once you leave this sport and say, “Hey, I was the first to do that. I’m the best to ever do this.” It’s pretty cool. I mean, it it really just goes to show what we can create with this game. I always say I like to take stuff from basketball, but this sport’s really an art form and everybody’s got their own flavor to their trick plays, which is really cool. Stuck through the left side by Mano. Art will be held up in third. Reese Alexi a cannon out there right now. The bases are juiced with just one out here. Don’t run on Super Reese. You guys might have a double play ball here. Unfortunately, got a lefty this Jay Jones. Yeah, I think he might go outside fast ball. Give me a little ground ball. Jack’s a little bit off the bag. We’ll see what happens. [Music] Oh, and one. Coxy, how does this environment compare to last year when you guys played here in Houston? Last year we were so starruck. Uh just walking in the building playing big league stadiums to try to take it all in. I obviously had Roger Clemens, we had a couple guys out here and the game flies by so fast. This week we felt a little more prepared. Obviously being the end of the season, too, but you get a little bit familiar with what the lights look like, what the crowd sounds like. Oh, floated out the shallow lap. Oh, KJ Johnson. Oh my gosh. I can’t believe what I just saw. That was insane. Brian, I mean, let’s hear from KJ, man. Hey, say something to That was a bad idea. And I I don’t know why I did that, to be honest. You’re the goat, bro. That was scary. Here to go. [Applause] Wow. I can’t get over that play. And as if there’s nothing else to talk about, here comes the Scoda. Stilts all Britain into the game. Coxy, I know we’ve asked you before, but for the new people at home, neuter man, what is it like playing defense behind this guy? I mean, it’s it’s impeccable to see how he can get that ball downhill at such a a high angle and his ERA has been great this year. Uh, his last last outing, uh, had a play that that should have helped him out a little bit, but he’s been fantastic this year filling up strike zones, letting guys either put balls in play or, you know, getting his punches. It’s pretty I couldn’t even stand on those things. I don’t know how he bounces and gets downhill. What’s the inspo behind the hair this weekend, by the way? I love the smiley faces. Uh, I had like three or four different designs. I almost did Minecraft when we went to Seattle. Uh, but the smiley face eye black was a tradition. The first time I ever went crazy with my hair was in Houston. Uh, I did the avatar arrow at the the Galleria, the mall. Uh, so I didn’t even realize until we came here and walked over to the mall that that was the first place that I really tried something different. So, just trying to be myself, make a opportunity for a fan. I got to communicate. [Music] You see the fans calling like a punt return. Oski Oski Oski. I got a feeling here [Applause] cuz I feel like no one wants to go up the middle against stilts. I feel like that’s kind of just like an unwritten rule as a hitter. He’s already up there. You want to kind of avoid hitting it off the stilts. That’s some good feel from the batters. Out to Jackson Olsson between the legs and then the throw also between the legs. Trick play bucket. Coxy. Couple trick plays that inning. Another one from you. We’re going to see that record I think tonight. Love you my love. Appreciate it. Thank you so much. conc still strands the bases loaded and Jackie Humn. Yeah. [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. [Applause] [Music] Almost 5,000 miles from Brazil. Wow. Just to meet Stilts. What’ you know about that Josh Tleski? Unreal by the way. Sweet dual tailgator and bananas jersey on that cap. That guy loves banana ball. Brian Trapanier. I love him. The guy they call BK from Columbus, Georgia. Towing on the rubber here after Christian Davis gave the tailgator four innings here tonight. Yeah. BK pitching for the 17th time this season for the Texas Tailgator. There’s a lot to like about him. He limits his hits. He’s wrapped up quite a few strikeouts for this tailgator squad. But if there’s one thing he’s got to work on when it comes to 2026 and beyond in banana ball, it’s his control on the pitcher mound. You never like seeing more sprints than strikeouts for an arm. And as a staff as a whole, it’s what the tailgator have tried to reign in, especially here against the Bananas. So far tonight, done a lot better job of that than earlier this year. and BK three pitches and a K. Have it your way for out number one. BK just threw a nasty spinner there to Dan Oburst, I think. Surprise Dan. Top of the zone pitch and really never has a big agenda on the pitcher mound. He’ll throw any pitch in any situation to a batter. And you saw Dan Ober really never comfortable in that at bat. You know, I was talking to BK in the airport the other day. The biggest thing he said he he talked about his sprints and obviously labeled it as it has been an issue for him out the left. Zack Watts and Jordan Hussein back flip with a man in his face. How about that? My goodness. You talk about a risky trick play try at the last second. It’s Hussein who gives way. Recognizes Watson is right behind him. And I think the fact that Hussein was so close to Watson’s, the only reason he didn’t land feet up completing that trick play catch. Yeah, didn’t want to spike his shorts stop. Now Ziggy time. Alex Ziggler will swing it into place here. Ryan Cox Ziggy also an all-star for the ban. But to finish that note on BK, he told me, he said, “Brett, I feel like I’ve been overthrowing so much this year, just giving 110% on every single pitch, which you talked to a lot of guys here in Adabal, that’s something you can’t do in order to be able to locate and work as fast as you can. You cannot overthrow.” And BK, excellent command thus far here in the bottom of the fifth. Yeah, he actually still hasn’t allowed a ball for sprint to the bananas this season. You’ve seen all of them come against the firefighters and the party animals. He continues to stay dialed in getting Ziggler to swing at the pitch running outside and can’t get the call as he goes to another high spinner. Deuce is wild. Ziggy stays alive. We’ll do the two tango once more. [Music] BK trying to end this fifth with the first inning tonight. That would not result in a point for either side. Banana has won the first three. Tailgator won the fourth. [Music] Speaking of all four sprints, an opportunity for Ziggy to get one right here. Straight up to shoot. Taj trying to find it behind whole plate behind the back hole. Plenty of time to go for a trick play and that’ll be a trick play missed. Only a trick play missed if Alex Ziggler is able to reach. You’re not going to penalize Taj immediately. That’s something you love to see in Banana Ball. The guy’s trying anytime a ball is popped in foul territory. And Taj clearly trusts that BK is going to go after him as he gets the strike out looking. And Trapanier collects two strikeouts, does some acrobatics and finishes off a threeinut and 17sec inning. What an inning for BK right there. No trick play missed and a strike out. Three up and three down. Pitching wonderful in the fifth. Before that though, Josh Tleski, it’s been bombs away. Indiana Stanley sent one in the Crawford boxes. Second at bat of the night for the tailgator. Then on the banana side of the things, you saw Ty Jackson, second batter up in the ball game for them, coming away with that home run. Five total homers tonight, tied for the most we’ve seen in a non- football stadium. Now coming to pitch. [Applause] We going to party like it’s shiver. We’re going to sip my card like it’s your birthday and you know we don’t give up. It’s not your birthday. We in the club full of book got what you need if you need to feel. I’m in having sex. I ain’t into making love. So come give me a hug if you’re into getting. You can find me in the club bottle full of mama. I got what you need if you need to fill a bug. I’m in the happy sex. I ain’t into making love. So come get me up if you’re in the ghetto. My flow, my show brought me the dope that brought me all my fancy things, my my cars, my clothes, my shoes up on me. I came up and I ain’t changing. You should love me way more than your head. Oh, you mad. I thought that you be happy. I made it. I’m the cat by the bar. Toasted to the good life. Moved out the hood. Now you trying to pull me back. Call me bottle full of bug. Mama, I got what you need to feel. I’m in the sex. I ain’t in the making love. So come give me a hug. We getting can find me in the club full of love. Mama got what you need. We need to feel. I’m in the happy sex in the making love. So come give me. Hey, [Applause] fans. Let’s hear it for 50 Cent. 50 Cent throws a pitch there. Eerily similar to the one he threw at City Field a couple years back. Look at that. It’s got a whole lot of spin on it. Tilleski, not as outside this time. That’s That is massive improvement. Oh, we’ve got the highlight. See, yeah, Bill Loy was able to corral that one. Oh man, how can you not say that? That’s a huge positive takeaway for 50 Cent. I I think it was his intro music. You know, he had in the club playing and then through the pitch that that made up for the 25 ft right there. Number 24 on the bump here, Andy Archer for the Savannah Van. The former Georgia Tech and Hawaii product is pitching for the 33rd time this season. Three wins and three losses on tour for Big Arch, who still owns the lowest ball four sprint rate on the Savannah Bananas. He has only issued sprints to 5.2% of the batters he’s faced, which is a huge, huge leap for the secondyear Banana, whose cutter has really been that pitch that has elevated his game in 2025. Big inning here for Andy Archer for everyone. Three to one ball game. The Texas Tailgator with Taj Porter leading it off. Trailing by two points. This is an inning where you try to get back in it here. Taj smokes it out to right. Does it have enough height? No, it’s off the wall. Takes a wicked hop. TP’s on his horse and he’s going to have a stand up double. Could you get any hotter than the quad father right now? And he does a sexy Dixie again. Another laser beam off the bat border. Had to admire it for a second and Alexi had a pretty good jump and read on that banana ball just scolded way too hot for him to be able to make that catch. Nice ricochet as well. Puts him at second base as Nelson Smith is coming as the designated runner and he’ll be able to move up to third base on this opposite field knock from Matt Danford. Got him on the corners now. Again, no one coming into this inning. We we just set the scene for you. You got to get some runs here. You got to have some insurance. Maybe maybe two, three runs here. Got to have that point here if you’re the Tailgator in this inning. Zack Watson out to left center. That’ll split it. Max trying to go first to third. Ty Jackson with a good arm. Beats M by about 3 ft. Out number one made it third, but a run scores at home. Remember those cows we were talking about earlier? They made it out on the field. Oh my gosh. Well, shake that thing. The cows. Little gyating going on down there after the tailgator score run. Zack Watson RBI single. Ty Jackson went a throw. Yeah, just a perfect throw from Ty Jackson. And if you’re Andy Archer, you’re pretty appreciative of that. It is really uncomfortable to fire four pitches and already see a team get three hits off of you. It’s been offense galore. Something the tailgator were really searching for on their own headliner tour earlier this month and on the party animals headliner tour. We mentioned they hadn’t hit a home run since Pittsburgh the last weekend of August. Got a couple of them here tonight. And Kaj just missed the third home run of the night for the Tailgator by about five feet. Brett Carson ball for a sprint. Zack Watson, speedy guy will be contended third. And they’re back on the corners here with just one away. You almost wish you had not seen Matt Danford get so aggressive. That ball four sprint could have read led to another run here in the sixth inning for the Texas Tailgator. Instead, they got to hope that the guy coming off the bench, Marcos Castillo, can cash in with a man in scoring possession. Kid from Round Rock, Texas had two hits in his hometown last Friday. Not nothing with Brett Carson over there at first. Marco sprays it to right field. Oh my gosh, it almost got a piece of split and it’s foul. Oh man, that’s got to be the closest this year Split’s been to get hit by a banana ball. You’d be surprised. That guy’s He’s a wild card. Wow. Call him the Jet. See the open shirt. See the PF flyers on his feet. Much like Benny the Jet Rodriguez from Marcos. peel down the first to check swing since Marles did not go chopper KJ only plays it first that’ll play another run for the tailgator RBI ground out for Marcos Castillia productive out Texas Tailgator will certainly take it you’re trying to chip away at this bananas lead and the way they’re going to be able to do it is not only scoring one run in innings but multiple runs seeming as their pitchers have only had the lead held up 60% of the time this season. Makes you feel a little indecisive. I tell you what can make you feel decisive. Already thrown up a crooked number and there’s a guy in a hot dog costume after this. Sunshot. He’s hitting the spot here. Taylor Justice still enter the ball game. Archer quickly ahead of him. 0 and two. Poke to EJ trying to beat Sunshine to the bag. Dives into the first base bag to make out number three. It was a late jump off the mound for Andy Archer. Nonetheless, EJ putting his body on the line to keep the Tailgator from earning another run. We’ll be right back. Tailgator up here in the sixth. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] To our great country, to our police officers to our firefighters, [Music] to our nurses, to our EMS workers, to our dispatchers, and to our school room teachers. The bananas and tailgators say thank you. [Music] [Music] You’re watching Banana Ball here on Troop TV presented by Tropical Smoothie Cafe. 50 Cent just came out, performed in the club, and then he got to throw a pitch a little bit outside, but not quite as much as it was at City Field a few years back. How special was that? 50 Cent man. And from one musician to another, Jimmy Strings in the pitch here for the Texas Tailgator. That’s right. Jimmy Strings, the fiddle player in the Texas Tailgator band, getting to appear yet again. Good southpaw for this team. and he has entered innings with the lead seven times this season. He has successfully held it four times. Pretty decent mark for Jimmy Springs. Three of those four holds have come when he’s had multiple runs of support in the inning. Still has not given up a run in the state of Texas yet either. Good headliner tour Jimmy Strings was nails including last weekend he had his first sub3minute inning of the year. quickly behind the captain Billy at 3 and 0. [Applause] Important point in this ball game here. Tailgators win tonight. The Party Animals clinch the number one seed for the Tour Championship beginning next weekend. Bananas win tonight and with another win tomorrow night, they’ll clinch that number one seed for the Tour Championship. Bill Loy draws the ball for a sprint to lead off the bottom of the sixth. [Music] Bill’s got a couple of those now tonight. Yeah. And for a second time now, Loy will be taken off the base pass in favor of the bananas designated runner, Malachi Mitchell, as it’s time for our bat boy tonight, Brett. His name is Chase. And look at the acceleration. [Music] That’s always cool. Always cool. Josh, some guys, they like to stand there. They really like to egg that moment. That kid, he’s, you know, hard hat and lunch pale kind of guy. Looked like he got a pick six. He want to take it right to the crib. Yep. He’s not dancing around. He’s not He’s not searching his way through traffic. Be be brief and be seated. That’s right. That’s what Josh Richardson told me earlier today, too. Josh sitting to my left here, executive producer of PTV. Kyle Jackson, 0 and2. Wonderful crew we got working on the show tonight as well. Chad Reese, our producer, Chris Haynes directing the show back in Savannah. Strings could really use a double play right here. KJ’s already homerred tonight. had a walk-off two-run shot that concluded things in the second inning. Flash takes off. Throw down from Taj. Tag from Jordan Hussein. Oh, Jordan quickly points to Joe Mik saying that he got it. And Mick is going to come out and challenge this one. Great throw by Taj to his roommate there in Jordan Hussein. Let’s see the look here on the tag. Looks like he got a ride on the helmet, Josh. Wow. On that first angle. Yeah, this might might tell us. Yeah, you can’t really see the bag. Flash also blocking the bag right there. I think the first angle is about as decisive as we have. Yeah. Unfortunately, you just can’t see where Flash’s feet are right there. I think the problem I’ve seen with all the angles we’ve gotten so far is you can never quite tell when foot is on the bag here from Malachi Mitchell. You’re able to see when the tag is applied. Yeah. Right there. Knowing where the tag was in the second and third angle, his foot was not on the bag. That I don’t know if that’s decisive, Josh. The the tough part is you don’t want to assume right the the frame right before that you see the ball in the glove of Hussein. It looked like his glove bent due to the tag foot was not there for flash. Ladies and gentlemen after review the ruling on the field is overturned. Vincent Chapman must have seen what I see. overturns the call and he’s out at second. Though Josh, I can’t say I really disagree with you because that that was a tough one to either uphold or overturn. Again, not sure if there was 100% concrete evidence there. Feels like it might have been a little bit of an assumption call from Vincent Chapman. Either way, athletic play from Jordan Usain and pretty nice out there for Jimmy Strings. One he’s got to be happy about. right side. Mag Danford between the legs. Out number two. Trick play bucket. Yeah, a lot of defensive changes right now for the Texas Tailgator. Danford started the ball game at third base, now has moved over to first. And this is where a majority of the trick plays have come for Big Mac. That one pretty nice and easy. And now Jimmy Strings an out away from claiming a second point for the Tailgator. Travis Mono has moved over the third. Sunshine now at second. Trey Jones is in center field and Marcos Castillo in right. Ball in a strike here to EJ who struck out his only time up tonight. Little low there according to Vincensive Chapman. Smacked right to Moon. Plays it off a hop. throw high and well that’s going to land in the second row. E5 will allow Eric Domes Jr. to reach. [Music] Well, you see Manuel handle it with ease. The interesting part is he checked with the third base umpire to see what the ruling was whether he had caught it or not. Something I’ve really never seen from a third baseman. So he takes his eyes off where he’s throwing the ball, tries to make sure he gets it over there against EJ, and instead it’s a costly error, although it is completely taken off the books. The fans come away with the catch here in the sixth inning. And it is another point in the ball game for the Texas Tailgator. Only a one-point lead for the Nanners. And it’s a man in a tailgator t-shirt. Give him a lifetime contract. This is banana ball. [Music] If you want a lasting marriage, you have to be able to support each other emotionally, but also physically. So, these two couples are going to race around the bases carrying each other all the way to this finish line. First couple there will be our winner, Houston. This is Texas Holde in three, two, one. Here we go to first base. We’re neck and neck. Look at that. We got a pair of piggybacks. Do not drop your wife, Sean. Whatever you do to second base. He dropped her. What is this? Oh my. Upside down. John and Sesy taking Oh my gosh. I don’t know what two cards those are. Oh, here comes Sesy. Dominique. You guys are watching. [Applause] [Applause] You know what? I’m excited for the inaugural Banana Mall Tour Championship. And Josh Tleski is right around the corner. That’s right. It’s going to kick off next weekend in Grayson Stadium. Semi-finals will be October 2nd through the 5th. The 11th will be the Tour Championship. All those games will be here on True TV and the Bananas YouTube page. And now you get a look at the Tour standings. Again, the Nanners in need of a suite here in Houston. If they want the one seed in the Tour Championship, the Gators are able to win either of the next two games. Party Animals will have that one seed secured. New arm on the bump here for the Bananas as that arm quickly gets or falls behind, I should say. Jordan Hussein. One and0. Kyle Perry. Well, we’ve seen the Tailgator scrap their way back against this Bananas bullpen. They’re hoping for more of the same against Kyle Perry, who’s allowed multiple hits in each of his last two outings and can’t quite condute induce, I should say, the fan caught foul ball here in the top of the seventh. You know, my favorite thing about KP and Josh, I know you love this, that old school wind up he has. Gosh, I love that. Back into the stands yet again up near us. Second level. Oh, rattles off of a seat. The lady over there. Hope everybody’s okay. Wow. Hussein puts this one again in the air but in play. The great eight behind the back. Book it. Second trick play of the night for Jackie and actually third and both of them or all of them have been really sweet plays tonight. Olsson we already saw field between the legs throw it through his legs. Nice under the legs throw and now a behind the back catch for the Savannah Bananas. They’re up to six trick plays on the night. Travis Mono having a really good night. A quiet night thus far. Ball four sprint and a single. Megan Wiggins hit in place of him in his second plate appearance of the year. Out to left, you got a trick play for us. Oh, he sure does. He hit the 67 in the middle of a tip drill. It’s unbelievable. I mean, you just expect Ty Jackson to hit the 67 regardless of what happens on the banana ball diamond. a hit by pitch, a home run, the trick play as well. Telling you, the teammates just feed off of that energy they get from him, whether he’s in left field or in the Bananas dugout. Trey Jones, another Houston, Texas native. Singles here with two out. Went to high school just about 25 minutes from here. And those big muscles of Mr. Universe now stand over at first. Nick Lopez. Seen him hit it from the left side tonight three times. Now from the right side with Cal Perry pitching. Lope’s not afraid to draw a ball for Brent. Trey Jones will hustle here if he gets it right down Broadway. Three and one. Strong possibility Trey could score from first. Now we got a full council. Trey will be in motion here on this next pitch anyway. Lopey got a lot of orange going on tonight. Fights it off. Oh, that’s as good as a hit and run right there. Trey Jones will stay put at second playing station to station banana ball. Yeah, the only problem with that knock off the bat of Nick Lopez goes to the opposite field and into the glove of Reese Selectiatus. It was very wise of Trey Jones not to challenge his arm. And now KP, it’s four straight outings where he’s allowed multiple hits to his opponents, but try and get out of this one and have it scoreless. What’s the other switch hitter in the lineup tonight for the tailgator? Taj Porter homerred and doubled from the left side tonight. TP was a party animal last year. He’s coming to his clubhouse this year and been one of the leaders off rip. Was playing for those party animals when they came here to Houston last year facing off against the Bananas. What was the first ever big league ballpark for Bananaball. now trying to get a run or two here for these tailgators in the top of the seventh. Oh, KP blows it by it. [Music] Big punch out for KP. Goes inside portion of the plate there against Taj Porter. And a little movement at the end, too. Tailgator stay off the board in the top of the seventh. Man, you talk about a big moment in this ball game. Tailgator have had all the momentum. I mean, after the Bananas won the first three innings, the Tailgator winning two of the last three. That’s a it’s a big time strike out there for Kyle Perry. There’s there’s no defense on the field right now. It’s just Kyle and Stone on the mound. Where’s the tailgator defense? Maybe you should think about what you going to do if it don’t work out. It ain’t about if it makes sense. Cuz if the book do it don’t fit. As far as I can see, there ain’t no way to be somebody. If you just going to quit. So if you got a fight, don’t lose it. If you got a new dream, do it. If you got something to prove, prove it. Don’t let nobody clip your wings. Give it a doubt. Keep on the blinders. Turn out the doubters and all the close moners. If it’s in your blood, falling down ain’t enough to change. You were born to be back up. That’s the only backup plan you need. [Applause] [Music] What a special moment here for these tailgators. their final big league stadium. Their final stop here in Texas. And it’s the kid from Lake City, Arkansas, who’s going to tow the rubber there in the center of that big fielders entrance, Colin Stone, 15 time the right. He’s gotten the ball for the Texas Tailgator this season. And much like we talked about with Brian Trapier, all four sprints have been pretty big issue for Colin Stone, he’s allowed sprints to 20% of the batters he’s faced this season. And although he played collegiately, he comes from a blitz ball background. So certainly been a little bit of an adjustment for him. He knows he gets wicked movement when he’s throwing that blitz ball. And of course, we’ve seen a handful of bananas, party animals, and even some firefighters and tailgators struggle with control initially with the banana ball. One pitch, one trick play, and what out there for Ken Stone. And to your point, I mean, Stony, it’s been one of those things where the new coach rack. Oh my, that’s good. That’s good. I should get one of those that says the new Bo Scout. I mean I mean seriously, I’ll cook something up for you. Okay, good. We We got game two tomorrow night. We’ll see what we can do. Dr. Meadows, ahead two balls in one strike. I’m Brett Loft. Josh Stfki here in the home of the Houston Astros Bank in Park R. Shallow right Sunshine. Sunshine over the shoulder grab for out number two. Then he plays a little vo with it. Well, if he’s got the opportunity to rip the trick play, that’s when you what you’re going to get from Sunshine Looters instead. Tough play on the run. He makes it, then adds on the trickery as he’s incorporated a lot of football or soccer celebrations in the banana ball. And Colin Stone working awfully quick at the moment. We’re only 1 minute and 13 seconds into the frame. Ball and a strike to Ty Jackson who’s had a great night. Kayen Bowler knows who’s at the dish there at the background. Is a check me foul ball from Pooky. [Applause] Moon dives for it. Jordan Hussein gets it. Throws it to first. Oh yeah. The captain, the Texas kid from right here in Houston. Played it absolutely perfectly. Mano going all out to make the play, but Hussein right there behind him would make a wonderful crossbody throw. As we go down to the field, Zack Phillips has something for us. [Music] Kiss your drunk and I’ll show you all the moves. I’ve got the moves like I’ve got the moves like I don’t need to control you look into my eyes on you like [Music] [Applause] [Music] You want to know how to make me smile? Take control me just for the night. If I share my secret. And from a minute 35 inning from Colin Stone now to a guy who’s one of the fastest working pitchers in our entire sport, Zack Phillips. That’s right, Philly with 25 sub 2minute innings in his career, third most in banana ball history. And he made some of it here in Dyken Park a season ago. He had 100 family members in attendance in this ballpark. and they were able to watch their guy throw a 55 second inning against the Party Animals, which at the time was the fastest in Banana Ball’s history. Has since been broken at 54 seconds by the Party Animals closer, Drew Gillespie. 44 seconds, excuse me. Thank you, Josh. 54 seconds. The fastest tailgator anybody ever Garson. What would I do without Josh? Tell you what, I’d probably cry a little bit. Back to Edford Mason Philly. Do you cry a lot for that? No, I don’t. I That’s what I’m saying. That’d be a rare occurrence if I didn’t have it. I I tear up a little bit. Already teared up here a little bit tonight. Special night here in Dying Park. Tailgator trying to take the point here in the eighth. Having a tie ball game going to the night. Wouldn’t that be a barn burner? M floated EJ out number one. Well, the recipe for Zack Phillips, we’ve already talked about his speed. It’s continued to hammer that. A lot of rookies on this tailgator team. Billy knows he’s one of the quickest working pitchers out there. He wants to speed them up so much they feel like they never have a chance to get their bearings in that batter’s box. And was somewhat the story there for M. Danford. 3-0 here to Wadi. He had an RBI single his last time up. into the big crowd here at Dyken. [Music] Can I be correct? Got it. Two up, two down for Philly. Well, that was a spinner right there. Back foot slider to get Zack Watson. Lefty lefty match up. Brett Carson up into the 400 section. Scorched back out into the 100s. That’s going to play off the dugout. The net and finally into a hand. My goodness, that banana ball seen every single seat in this complex again down the left field line again into the seats. Cannot be caught. Trying to get that sub two minute in here. The two- two to BC. Bill Loy dives for it. Throws it to first. Got him. Vincent Chapman continuing to say that ball stayed in fair territory when Loy pounced on it. Really intelligent play from the Bananas co- captain and it’s a 1 minute and 56 frame for Philly. We go to the bottom of the eighth. The Naners still up 32. [Music] Yeah. Here we go. Heat. Heat. in the pitch. Banana ball here at beautiful Dankin Park is presented to you by Tropical Smoothie Cafe here on True TV. 3-2 ball game as we enter the bottom of the eighth inning. And it’s the setup man. He’s everywhere. Be everywhere. Brett Carson, the new lefty on the mound here for the Texas Tailgator. Started as the closer for this tailgator squad. Has moved into the setup role. And it seemed to pay off pretty nicely for Carson. Still averaging three outs in less than four minutes this season. He’s just got to control the hits that he allows more than anything else. The opponent’s batting average against them this year sits at 330 entering tonight. They’re trying to miss those barrels. And it’s Danny Barrels up there right now. Over is ahead. Two balls and a strike. Sprayed out to right center. That one’s going to roll for a while. One hopped off the wall and into the bullpin. Oh, talk about some front spin. Dan Homer’s leadoff double here. And now the fourth point of the ball game is represented by the inning winning run at second. You could argue that is a friendly bounce for the Texas Tailgator. Ober off and running immediately. Likely would have had a second triple tonight for the Savannah Bananas if that doesn’t get over the wall. And definitely not the start Brett Carson was looking for as he falls behind Reese Alexi. 2 and0 hearing banana ball going to that ninth down one point versus two is monumental. 3 and 0 now. One ball away from the Bananas walking this in and off [Music] and that’s it. Obururst could walk home as Reese Alexi walks off the eighth with a ball for sprint and the Bananas take a 4 to2 lead heading to the final frame. Seventh ball four sprint in Alexi’s last 11 games. His discipline has been one of the big bright spots, one of many bright spots for Alexi. And that is much needed insurance for the Savannah Bananas. They will now go into the ninth inning where every run counts for a point with a twopoint edge. Lot of runs here tonight. Six points. Four to2. The Bananas lead it. They need three more outs to win it here in Houston. and flashlights all the way around the stadium. Get those flashlights on and I want you all to join in and sing as loudly as you can a little yellow. Here we go. Everything you [Music] I [Music] thank you. [Music] So let us [Music] keep it going. [Music] We love you so much, Banana Nation. Now, let’s go Bananas. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Gage score head two points for the Mrs. [Music] [Applause] Man, yellow is special in every single place we get to do it. Really special here in Dykin Park just now. Now that means we are in the final frame here up at Adabal. Josh Delesky. And as you just noted moments ago, all runs count as points here in the final inning, the ninth inning. We’ve made it here. And if the game’s tied, we get to go to showdowns, which these bananas and these tailgators have done once already this year. Resorted in a Bananas W back in Pittsburgh. But they got to go through at least this Bananas locker room would tell you the best closer in our sport. Yeah, Danny Hosley’s obviously the two-way superstar for the Bananas. It’s named a Banana Ball Allstar on the pitching side of things. And it’s really not surprising considering Hosley’s the most dominant closer we have ever seen in Banana Boss history. The only man with over 50 career saves, has a 28% strikeout rate here in 2025. And he hasn’t allowed an earned run since July 13th for the Savannah Bananas. He’s only allowed one earned run in a major league ballpark this season. He’s been nails for this team and opponents are batting 197 against the Bananas Vulcan change up master. See that 394 RA below tour average of a 546. Danny in the last month though, not to keep throwing a lot of numbers at you, last two months I should say, hasn’t given up a run. Right. Take that as you will. here in the Lone Star State. These tailgators, they’re going perhaps against the hottest pitcher in the sport. It’s Marcos Castillo. The Round Rock native fouls it. Marcos had an RBI ground out in his loan AB tonight. And it’s 8910 do up in this lineup for the Texas Tailgator. I would not be surprised if either of the next two guys do up wind up being hit for by the Texas Tailgator golden batter. And obviously you need a guy to get on to even bring the game tying point to the plate at this point. [Music] Ball into here to Marcos Castillo. Marcos fouls this one over to the net. Oh, and it’s caught by a fan. Not even 15 ft in front of us here in the press box for out number one. Sat right up. came away with a big snack and he pointed down at the field that Danny Hosley and Bill Loy knew he got a big first out for the Nanners. Wow. The Texas Tailgator are invoking the golden batter rule. Now batting in the place of Jonathan Sunshine Lutters is the tailgator golden batter, Taj Porter. [Applause] Who else would you go to in this spot? He’s going to swing it from the left side. He’s already got a homer and a double from there tonight. He’s faced Danny Hley. He’s got a season’s worth plus almost two seasons worth of facing this guy. If anybody’s going to get a rally started for these tailgators in the top of the ninth, it’s that guy, the quad father, Taj Porter. Riding the hot bat of Taj Porter. He swings at the first pitch, walks this one down the third base side. The fans all trying to make another play and they do. Out made by third base umpire Reggie Ligins and Taj cannot believe it. Two outs in the inning for Danny Hosley. The Bananas defense doesn’t have either of them. [Applause] Fan. Wow. He fell over a row. Taj is in shock and every single person here in Dying Park is on their feet. The Savannah Banatas have to sweep this weekend in order to get the number one seed in the tour championship. The tailgator just need to take a game for the party animals to have the number one seat. They’re one out away from taking game one here tonight. Jordan Hussein 0 and one. The hottest pitcher in the sport, Danny Hley on the bump. The kid who grew up 7 minutes from here, Jordan Hussein in the box. And the Texas Tailgator are down to their final strike tonight. 41,000 here in Houston. Jordan Hussein will live to see another pitch. [Applause] Danny Hley had a walk-off homer back in the third. Now he’s on the bump trying to go three up and three down to add another save to his all-star resume here in 2025. And this is a tough matchup for Hosley as well. Hussein 11 sprints this year, only four strikeouts. They call him Mr. Do It All Daddy. Jordan Hussein tailgator will stay alive. All right, Travis Mano. Can I give you a history lesson right quick? Josh, I know you love to give my guest. Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Top of the ninth. Travis Mono took Drew Gillespied, made it a one-point ball game. He does that right here. We’re tied. 0 and one to Tra. Bounces at 58 ft from Hans Tra tonight’s two for excuse me, one for two. Tailgators going hats off down there. Oo, home run hack there from Moon. And yet again, are the Tailgators down to their final strike two full count now. Travis Mano’s been working on his patience as the Bluebirds come down here in Houston. 3-2 the best pitch some would argue in our entire sports that bulkin change. Would he go to it right here? Josh, I think you’ve got it. He’s got a lot of confidence in it. It’s obviously a swing and miss pitch and it’s Loy it looks like setting one up instead. Hosley tries to challenge Mono with the heater up and he’ll battle that one over by the tailgator dugout. Absolute cinema right now and game one of the final stop on the 2025 world tour. Danny Heisley, Travis Mano, full count. Foul again. Well, this is what you love to see. Already an eight pitch battle between Hosley and Travis Mono. And again, this is a man who’s been a very dangerous bat. Five of his last seven or five of his seven extra base hits this season have come over the last two months of this tour. Can he get another one right here? Up and in. Ball four spread. Hussein was taken off on the pitch. Mano takes a big round at first. Hussein stays at third. So now Travis Mano, the game tying run/ point now stands at first. And Indiana Stanley, who had a two-run homer back at the first, is going to step into the right-handed batters box. 0 and one. Hos blows the fast right by him. Danny Hley, he’s not giving up a run since the start of August. The Tailgator have one 90 ft away. All the hats are off. left side. Brian Cox between the legs. Oh, he can’t make the play. And things get more interesting. Hussein comes home to score. Mano stands at second. And now the go-ahead point at first. That could prove very costly for Ryan Cox and the Bananas. You see the frustration instantly. It’s a man who hasn’t had a trick play all night long for the Nanners. Finally trying to get one at the end of this contest and ex instead it extends a tailgator rally. Nick Lopez out to right field and it’s just right on the foul pole. Oh, a little bit farther right than I thought. Hard putations and good vibrations. It’s the 01 in the air out to left center. Ty Jackson has it and the bananas by the skin of the peel. Beat the Texas Tailgator four to three here in Dyken Park. And that’s what makes Danny do it all one of the best in Banana Ball. Despite the late rally there from the Texas Tailgator, he is able to compose himself, bear down, and get the second team all-American from 2024, Nick Lopez, to fly out and get the Bananas halfway towards clinching the one seed in the Banana Ball Tour Championship. And now the boys are going to dance a little bit. [Applause] Win number 45 here in 20125 for the Savannah Banana. Mr. [Applause] [Music] One more time. Wow. Josh Powski. That was as good as any banana ball game we’ve seen this year and as good as any environment we’ve seen in the 2025 World Tour. Yeah, you felt the playoff atmosphere from the crowd here in Dyken Park. You certainly saw it on the field from the Bananas and the tailgator alike. A really clutch win and Ty Jackson named our showman of the game. Robert Anthony Cruz is going to catch up with them. I’m here with showman of the night. uh catching the final out of the game. Ty, what was going through your mind in this game? Did you have a different approach? Uh no, I just told myself, what would Rag do? And he’s been such an inspiration to me, you know, the way he lives, you know, how he is as a husband and how he carries himself. Uh this man is so amazing and so awesome and I love this dude to death, man. And he’s just one of a kind. So I love you, Rack. Todd Jackson, man. I appreciate you gassing me up, but this is your moment right here, bro. Hey, hey, talk me through that home run swing, bro. Uh, first homer of the year. I was actually in the third deck when you did that. I started going nuts. I was trying to be undercover. I saw that ball leave the yard. I went crazy. Did you black out? What was going through your mind there? Uh, I I a thousand% blacked out. The last time I hit a home run in a Bananas jersey was August of 2022 in the CPL Championship, and it’s been 3 years since then, and I blacked out 100%. Let’s go, dude. Come on. I mean, this dude has like 11 home runs. He don’t walk out no more. He don’t walk out no more. All right. All right. Our final question, Ty. Um, this game really matter. We’re coming down to the line here. One more win tomorrow for the Bananas to seal first place. What do you think the mentality is going into tomorrow? What are the vibes like here in the clubhouse? I mean, I all I can say is I think the vibes are high. We’re going to play for the name on the front of the jersey and not the back. You know, God is good. We get the opportunity to play one more game in Houston, then back to Savannah. So, the vibes are going to be high. Like always wins. Amen. God is good. Let’s go. Send it back to you guys. Ty Jackson, man. I I I mean, another showman of the game for him. Robert Anthony Cruz, by the way, and Coach Rag taught me. Sam Bowman taught him. What about the reporting skills there from Coach Rag? Yeah, Ragg taught all this. I mean, truthfully, Josh Tipsky, what you’ve taught me is that banana ball is a wonderful sport. It’s a sport that’s built upon limiting ball for sprints. Tonight, throw all that out the window. These boys just came to the yard and were ready to smash around some banana balls. Yeah, it was an absolute home run party tonight. Ty Jackson obviously part of that equation. Had the two-run bomb in the first inning for the Nanners when it seemed like, you know, the wind had been out of their sail super early. Ty with the two-run shot, a 6-7 SY. He added on two trick plays as well tonight. Had an outfield assist. And what’s really impressive, since Robert Anthony Cruz went down with that injury that ended his season, Ty Jackson has been named the showman of the game three times. It is unbelievable what he’s done coming off of the bench for this banana squad and really being an impact player for this team. I tell you what, Josh, when when you talk about the evolution of our sport, I I just can’t talk about it enough. When this was our first big league ballpark for Banana Ball in 2024, now it’s a brand new team in the Texas Tailgator. A a a team that’s repping this state to come back here tonight, Bananas win, but the show that the Texas Tailgator were able to put on here tonight. Yeah, again they had a really impressive offensive night. They got some really good things going against this Bananas bullpen, but you saw just how costly that final point can be that you allow in the eighth inning of play. The Bananas got that insurance point that you said was super huge. It wound up being that deciding point as the Tailgator again started to scrap together a rally with two outs. The Nanners were able to retire Nick Lopez and get halfway to securing the one seat in the tour championship. So what’s at stake tomorrow? Well, if the Savannah Bananas are able to sweep this series, they will clinch the number one seed in the inaugural Tour Championship. Those tailgators win. Hey, I know those boys in black and pink are watching back in Savannah. Then the party animals will have the number one seed in the inaugural Tour Championship. Josh Tleski, man, I know we’re doing it again tomorrow night. It’s very special. Bo Scalla, thank you for letting me sit in your seat. Can’t wait to do it again tomorrow night. Chad Ree, our producer, Josh Richardson, our executive producer, and Chris Haynes, our director, back in Savannah. from this whole crew. Talk to you again. Why don’t you say we do it again tomorrow night, Josh? 7:00 p.m. Central time, 8:00 p.m. Eastern here from Dykin Park. Until then, gator up and we’ll see you later. Success. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music]
