It can be useful. If you ever buy concessions I would always have a few dollars sitting in Fan Bucks.
If you didn’t get an invite reach out to a season ticket rep. We had such a good time at our rookie season ticket event. You get a bunch of free stuff, they put money on your concessions, and it’s a great time to get all your answers to your questions
