  1. If the Cardinals win the next two games (they won’t), and if concurrently the Padres win their last two games, their Wild Card matchup would be in San Diego instead of Chicago.

  2. For McGreevy’s sake, I hope the Cardinals win today. At this point, though, it doesn’t really matter much.
