  1. If we can win the series against the Padres, we’ll be the first wild card team to have home field advantage in the divisional series in MLB history.

  2. This might age like milk, but I am so amped to see REAL playoff baseball at Wrigley for the first time in seven years.

  3. Not much to say. Home field clinched. The Busch game.

Really enjoying this era of cubs sonning the cards.

  4. If the offense continues to score runs at the pace they have recently, I like their chances to advance to the next round and beyond

  5. Very grateful for the home field advantage, for both the obvious reason, and also because it will be at a slightly more reasonable time for me.

  6. I have been waiting since 1984 for playoff revenge against the Padres. Screw you, Steve Garvey. Revenge!

  7. Let’s all appreciate that the Cards fans are laughing this up because their team and season was so pathetic.

Feels good to clinch an important win against them at home.

  8. If you guys are thinking about going to the playoffs, there’s a promo code for seatgeek that will knock $30 off your purchase of $200 or more.

Code is seriously “PMS2025”. Funny ass name, but it will help you guys get cheaper tickets

  9. Not that we should be satisfied with 2nd place, but after all this season has been, I’ll take it.

Justin Steele’s injury happened so long ago the fact we virtually played the whole season without a top of the rotation starter has kind of been forgotten.

  10. didnt see the game but don’t see Tucker in the box score.

Is he expected to play tomorrow to get some bats in? or is he done for the season?

  11. I like Craig, I think he’s a good manager and I’m happy the cubs have him. But man I wish he was on the top of the dugout steps chirping the cardinals for walking Busch.
