  1. I’m okay with division winners making the playoffs but I do think seeding should be based on record. So if the BJs and Yankees both are top 2 seeds, they should get the bye but the division winners can still make the playoffs automatically.

  5. Here’s how I understand our best case scenario for a wildcard game. We want to root for the Astros and the Tigers. Astros win out and Skubal will being pitching Sunday leaving the Tigers Skuballess for the Bronx.

  6. I’ve assumed for the past month that the Jays would win the division so that this is even a race going into the final day is amazing to me. I’m choosing to look at the positive and say that it’s a good thing that we’re playing must win games and actually winning this late in the season.

  9. So the optimal situation would be Skubal pitches tomorrow and the Tigers win these last two, cause we then host a Skuballess Detroit team?

  10. Sadly I worry this team winning out and still losing the division will be terrible for morale. Hope either the jays lose tomorrow or they have tougher skin than I think they do.

  12. Not too late for the Jay’s with how BJs BP been pitching lately. Even with a 5 run lead, I don’t think they can’t breath just yet.

  18. YANKEES NEED TO EVICT THE RAYS RIGHT FUCKING NOW. THE RAYS CAN GO FIND A LITTLE LEAGUE PARK TO PLAY IN FOR NEXT YEAR.

    Only way for Yanks to win the division tomorrow is a win and Jays to lose.

    In 24 hours we will know.

  23. Drama up until the last game of the season. If we win tomorrow and Jays lose, it will be an absolutely incredible end to a roller coaster of a season.

  32. It is very funny to see league wide commentators talk about the balance of competition and how teams won’t punt down the stretch and the Rays are like
    “Omg YANDY HIT .300 🥳😍” and took him out of the game 😂

  33. Kinda glad we have to play tomorrow, like cant just sit everyone. A lot of baseball is momentum, these guys need all they can get.
