Orioles vs. Yankees Game Highlights (9/27/25) | MLB Highlights

Yankees keep winning and the Blue Jays won yesterday. So they are tied atop the American League East right now. The Blue Jays own the tiebreaker. So the Yankees need to keep winning a really good year. The big fastball has that action that, that riding action up in the zone that really plays up, do it again. His last start was really good against these Orioles in five and a third innings and that one tipped into the glove of Rice. A strikeout of Westbrook, Henderson holds his pitch fastball swing on and a high pop foul territory in front of the Yankee dugout. Paul Goldsmith’s over on the track and makes the catch. He did a good job to steady himself in that high sky up there. Good inning for slits making his 30th start and of course final start of the season, see the record 10 and nine. He’s worked 100 52 and two thirds 103 strikeouts about a 3 to 1 strikeout to walk ratio. Aaron Judge, 52 home runs, 111 runs batted in and for the batting title race, he leads 330 to Jacob Wilson’s 313. So you got to like his chances. And here’s a high drive in left field, going back. Beavers running out of room on a track. Look it up. It’s gone home run number 53 for the Captain RB. I number 112 and the Yankees have a one nothing lead. And how about his numbers against Sano seven for 83 of them home run? Just amazing what he has done all year. Always important. There are no home runs that he hits, that don’t mean anything. And that’s how annoyed you get to see someone hit a home run and it’s 7 to 2 in either direction. Not Aaron Judge is 2 to 2, strike three called on a fastball. That was low. Sano, happy to get the call. There is Bellinger rung up by Ramon de Carlos Stanton leading off high fly ball deep. Right center cows are back turning looking bleachers the other way but not a show. Yankees lead two. Nothing. Can the playoffs start tomorrow because Judge is standing there , Karen Lumber. I mean, this is 427 ft the other way into the bleachers the title on the all time home run. 453. Here is ryan Mcmahon, a good glove addition to this ball club and trying to get his bat going. Pitt swung on and hit in the gap and right center field, it got some carry. It will hit the top and get out into the bullpen, ryan Mcmahon with a home run. Wow, that’s impressive. Nice, easy swing. It’s his 20th home run, 53rd run batted in 3 to 0 Yankees. And that’s what, that was the piece of ryan mcmahon’s hitting that we were missing everybody. They knew exactly what kind of a hitter he was, but he does hit a lot of home runs as a left handed hitter off a right handed pitching. Henderson the batter, he walked his first plate appearance on Juan Schler to Henderson and Gunner lines a ball to left field. Bellinger won’t get there. Gutter takes 99 the other way and his career high doubles total sits at 34. What a pretty swing that was too elevated. Fastball got on playing with it. It’s a high fastball hard to get on top of that. But Gun Harrison found away three, one left field coming on is Bellinger and he’s going to make the play and fires to second. But over the leaping try of Chisholm who goes down over Henderson. Let’s see if he’s ok. There’s two players knowing it’s the end of the year. It’s just a play that kind of got tangled up good running catch by Ballinger and Then think he thought he had a chance to get Henderson at second, but he didn’t kind of a high throw and Jazz got flipped 32 swing and a miss good fastball strike three on Beavers. No runs, a hit no s and a man left. That’ll do it for Baltimore in the, the Yankees lead it three cam Schlitt hits Jeremiah Jackson a 98 mile per hour fastball. The Orioles get the first leadoff runner. Now, Colton Ker Slider. Did he go? Yes, sir. He did late call by De Jesus and he rings him up and Ks is gone. That’s the fifth strikeout for slit swing and a miss down on strikes for the second time. That’s a six strikeout. Mayo got hit 98 miles an hour. Slit two big misses in this inning. The Orioles have two on two hit batters in the inning by cam slit. Here’s how he’s got zero for two. Here’s the pitch, Reagan bat ground ball to jazz at second, easy throw to first nice stab by slit to get out of that situation that he created himself with the two hit batsman. Bases are loaded for judge has 51 home runs in his career against the Orioles. That’s in 100 and 19 games. Ties him up with the pitch inside fastball. Another pitch inside called the strike one and two. I think aaron Boone has seen the replays on both of those pitches. He must have thrown him out already because you are not allowed to argue balls and strikes. Yeah, he did. You know these are important games and this is an important at bat and there’s a base hit up the middle Mcmahon scores. Here comes Grisham, he’ll score the throw to third Rice is in there. Judge moves to second on the throw and the Yankees lead 50. That’s a huge at bat by aaron Judge infield in and Bellinger lost one to center tagging is Rice catches made by Cowser. The throw goes to third Rice scores sack fly for Bellinger and the Yankees lead 60. Jazz Chisholm complement on for him and that one hits Jazz Chisholm. If you look at Wolfram, I mean, he’s been inside to lefties with the fastball and can’t throw a strike with the curveball away. This looks like it got the underneath the elbow. He is in the dugout being tended to, he walked right to the dugout and now Caballero will come out so the Yankees have to hold their breath. Chisholm so important to what they do. So bases loaded and that brings up Goldschmidt against the lefty ground ball up the middle field by the shortstop. Henderson, he jogs to the bag at second. It’s the force out there of Caballero and it ends the inning and slit and the Yankees six nothing lead top six in Baltimore and he strikes out Henderson cutter, throwing that cutter a little bit more early in the game. It was fastball curveball. Now he’s starting to mix the cut fastball in and the pitch swing and a miss blew it right back. Good fastball for schlitter. His eighth strikeout kind of like this. Cam schlitter about to start things here in the seventh inning. He’s got a two hit shutout working against the Baltimore Orioles. He’s not a strikeout. Oh, cutter there up and away that sets up your rhythm. You can see and his leg kick is consistent swing on and hit to left field left center field. Shielding with his glove is Bellinger makes easy catch. Standing ovation for cam slipper seven very strong innings with a career best nine strikeouts, six nothing Yankees as we start the eight, Paul Blackburn’s first pitch to Kobe Mayo struck well deep left field, Bellinger on the warning track at the wall. It is out of here. Kobe Mayo goes deep. Mayo gets the Orioles on the board in the eighth inning on the first pitch that he sees from Blackburn number 11 for Mayo on the season and it’s 61 Yankees, 11 strikeouts, 11 and Blackburn today are down to their final out game over. Yankees have won seven straight to use the home run again today and they continue to put heat on the Blue Jays as they try to win the American League East. And for the moment, they are a half game ahead of the Blue Jays who are in the second inning right now in Toronto against the Tampa Bay Rays.

  1. Bronx Bombers are on πŸ”₯. Judge batting .377 for this month, Stanton last 7 games batting .322 and Killa Cam with another solid outing to be the #3 or #4 in the playoffs. Team is playing better at the right time. 1 more game. GO YANKEES!!!!#CHASEFOR28

  2. Can Major League Baseball do anything about this HORRIBLE home plate umpire ?!?!? Please get him OUT OF THIS LEAGUE. Disgusting how many missed calls this man consistently has. I wonder why he’s still employed … I wonder why
