I feel like a fraud. After the titans traded AJ brown I lost it. I ended up deleting my facebook because of the hate I got from the titans fan page. I couldn’t stop talking about how the AJ trade would set us back for years. I said I would never cheer for the titans again, how Amy is a joke, how we will never be a serious franchise. I was called a joke, a loser, and worst of all a fake fan. I knew we were in our Super Bowl window and it officially closed after that trade. After all these years I know I was right but I feel worse.
I live in Denver and said I would be a broncos fan in 2019 when I was at that game against the broncos and Mariota was benched. That lasted one week. I have been to 6 titans game in 20 years and have never seen them win in person one time. My heart is and will always be with the titans. I’m a 33 year old man who has been a fan of the team since 99.
I don’t really know the point of this post. It just hurts being a titans fan. That is all.

Pain. But a beautiful family!
Same. I hate this franchise but I catch myself coming back
I’m with you bro. I’m 35 in a few days, fan since 99. Been to about 5 games and have seen 2 wins. Philly in OT with the Corey Davis grab to seal it on my birthday, and the first tannehill start / Simmons first career sack and the awesome goal line stand on Melvin Gordon.
Beautiful family!
Group cry on Thursdays you know that
Our team might suck but by the looks of this photo, you’re winning at life.
Don’t worry the rebuild will start next year /s
it gets better bro
I’ve never related to someone harder than this. Every year the damage they do to my psyche becomes permanent and shaves a year or two off my life. 33, PA, fan since 99. We are not so different.
This feels like my story. I know it sucks.
Titans really fucked up by letting LaFleur, Conklin, Mariota and Brown walk. We would be competing for playoffs if they didnt.
This team will be good again. We just have to wade through a bunch of shit until this becomes a reality. Especially with this team and coaching staff.
I hate Callahan, Wilson, Brinker, Miss Amy, Ridley, Sneed, Simmons at times and especially Pollard……
But I’m gonna be the first motherfucker to say the Titans are lurking and ready to dip the ball in shit and shove it down an opponents throat come game day.
Been a fan since they were the Oilers… you either gotta deal with the bullshit or people calling you a bandwagoner, there’s no middle ground. Sometimes you just gotta say, “Yeah, we’re fucking garbage”
I’m a titans fan from nj and believe me when I say it’s not as bad as you think. Jets fans have it the worst. Your neighbors and friends are all giants and eagles fans have seen multiple Super Bowl wins already.
What gets me about these posts, is that I know that ownership has looked at what the fans are saying online consistently. And in the NFL, fans and winning mean pretty much everything. Fans make you money (tickets, merchandise, branding/marketing, etc.) and winning brings in more fans than anything. And fans aren’t stupid either.
In the NFL, you don’t need to be the richest owner to win. That’s the beauty of the salary cap! You just have to hire the right people in the front office and coaching staff, and then let them do their jobs while also having a clear organizational structure that holds people accountable when they don’t do their jobs well, while giving them a chance to prove themselves.
You need the right leadership in house. Those leaders draft and develop young players and make good targeted free agent signings to fill up the roster holes created when the crapshoot of the draft plan falters (which it does for literally every team in the league; everyone misses on draft picks, it is a lottery).
But why was Vrabel always having to speak for roster issues when Jrob traded AJ Brown or Jrob failed to maintain the offensive line and pass rushing rooms?! Why didn’t Vrabel have any say on the next GM when the public message was that this new GM was here to go get what Vrabel wants? And when Vrabel is inevitably fired, in large part due to being shafted by Jrob’s decisions, why does Carthon have to go out there and speak up for it? Why is it that when Will Levis (who was very bad, no denying) is completely mismanaged in terms of injury (seriously who the hell is supposed to play QB with a separated AC joint let alone have a chance to develop as a young QB??) and then gets thrown under the bus by a team PR statement when he had season ending shoulder surgery?? Heck I supported the Mike Mularkey firing at the time, but let’s be honest, who the hell fires the first head coach to win the franchise a playoff game for the first time in over a decade?!?!
No idea who is making decisions up there or heavy the process is anymore. I’ve tried to defend ownership because from 2016 through the Green Bay game in 2022, we were one of the most consistently serious competitive franchises in the nfl that had accomplished everything a fan could ask for EXCEPT a Super Bowl. But after how Mariota, Levis, Jrob, Vrabel, and Carthon situations were handled, I don’t know how much more I can give ownership the benefit of the doubt.
I’m just rambling here but I just wish ownership would make good hires, have a structure that lets good hires thrive and be held accountable, and gets out of their own way. From the time the new stadium was announced it sure seems like ownership has made every dumbass fucking decision possible, over and over again and again.
No tears, please. It’s a waste of good suffering.
I’m 35 and became a fan the season McNair took us to the Super Bowl. I feel in love with the journey and team colors….i made a very bad decision but im loyal so im a fan for life 😭😭. Chris Johnson and Derek Henry kept me going. I can always say no other franchise has 2 separate 2,000 yard rushers. Henry tried to give Baltimore that same nod last season 😅
If you don’t want criticism, don’t post online. You have nobody to blame but yourself
