Astros vs. Angels Game Highlights (9/27/25) | MLB Highlights
And go for Kane Dana. I’d, I’d be excited to see how deep he could get in this game. Give him a long leash. Let’s see him work out of some problems that just be a learning moment for him, especially facing an opponent where they’re trying the best they can to get to the postseason. They still have altuve leading off. So that’s going to be so big for him to be able to gain experience in an environment like this tonight. My go to is for Dana to have a solid game. He do the ball really well in Colorado just the other day chases on the corners with change up a swing and miss pitch five punch outs just under 49% with percentage with his changeup. But east to west with that four seamer and it’s been about 96 and 97 a lot of trust in that, make sure you get ahead of the count and to be able to finish off the hitters with that. And he also has that devastating slider to go with the Astros still alive because Cleveland and Texas head to the ninth in their game at two apiece. In Cleveland. Here’s Jose Altuve since being a leadoff hitter in the last five games. He is hitting at a 313 flip was on base once last night with a walk and the first bench is grounded for a base hit in the center field. Jose Altuve with his team leading 156th hit of the year. Jose eight hits in his last 21 at bats and he’s aboard for is he wasn’t going to wait around if he got the fastball, he was going to stay at the middle and that’s exactly what he could be. The double play you’re looking for. So just like that two are down and only three pitches have been thrown. There’s a chopper right to Luis throw in a good first inning, a good start for the young Dana. Here we are game two in Anaheim and you see AJ Blue bog taking the mound for the Astros. This will be his third start 10 games this season 1.9 for er A. We showed you numbers in August being very good. His whip is well under one vintage mike Trout last night as he hit a home run to make it a 3 to 1 Astros lead and Then he hit a home run to give the Angels their first lead of the night 4 to 3 in the bottom half of the eighth inning. A real asset to the Angels this year. There’s ball four, I love that. The fact that they’re here representing ES in the outfield , I think it’s Great Trout. The move and ball four back to back one out walks runners at 1st and 2nd. Joe Adell will be the batter popped way up in the air. Christian Walker and Jose Altuve converge on an infield fly rule is called altuve puts it away for the second out ground ball. Altuve is there on a couple of hops, Jose’s throw in time to get. Oh, and that will do it for the Angels. In the first, the Astros have officially been eliminated from the 2025 postseason. It will be the first postseason they miss since 2016. There’s a ball in the center field. Diaz has a base hit on a no two pitch and he’ll be a one out base runner. Zack Cole, the batter left hitting center fielder ball hit high in the air deep to center field back goes to, he’s near the wall, he’ll lead up and it is gone. Zack Cole in the left center field. It’s a two run shot and the Astros lead 20 on Cole’s fourth home run of the year. It was a fastball 95 at the top of the zone and he got the barrel to it and launched at 398 ft to center field to get the Astros on the board with a two run. Jack Jose Altuve will end his night one for one as Bryce Mathews will come on and pinch hit for altuve here. That’s some paint right there. I love that. 96. That’s what I’m saying about Peyton. His stuff is therein ground ball to play that he makes, he’s getting more and more comfortable. He handled that one with ease. Angels down two nothing one away here in the third inning that will bring up Taylor Ward who walked his last time up. Here’s the next pitch that’s a liner. It’s going to fall into center field, take a hop on out to Zack Cole, the center fielder and Taylor Ward has the first Angel hit tonight. One out single half swing. Blue ball makes the play goes to Matthews for one and a nice pick at first by Christian Walker and they turn the double play that are now christian walker, their first baseman. He grounded out on the left side of the infield. His first time up tonight, that ball is drilled deep to left field all the way back and gone. The trifecta for christian Walker. A home run in three straight road games. The road warrior continues to produce it is 30 Astros even no doubt about this hanging breaking ball on the inner edge. He now ties Jose Altuve for the team leading home run with number 26 on the year. It’s going to be wide. Cole draws a walk so he follows up his home run by getting on base with two outs and he is still alive for the Astros and Jesus sanchez will be the next batter. That ball hit hard to right, got a chance all the way back and gone. Jesus Sanchez snaps it 0 to 11 with a home run, a two run shot and the Astros now lead this game 5 to 0 on their third home run of the night. J blue ball continuing a good stretch for him. An active streak of 21 scoreless innings as he gives way to de Los Santos. But how about Blue ball finishing his season with a 1.69 a, how about it? And there is a strikeout for Enel who’s looking for a quality outing. It’s been a little bit rough going for Enel after a great start in an Astros uniform Dela santos throwing BB back to back strikeouts of Guzmán and Teodosio ground ball, try to catch it behind his back instead there Santos a 12, three inning with a couple of strikeouts in the mix in the bottom of the sixth. The Angels down 5 to 0. Mike Trout stands in a walk and a ground out. That’s baseball. He’s hit really hard and that is just the second hit of the night for the Angels. Joe Adell is the batter after mike Trout on a source. Let’s give the man another whippy Trout on his way to the plate head first slide. He’s in there, Joe Adell RV. I double 98 and the Angels get on the scoreboard. It’s 51. Houston two runners on. He was trying to mount a comeback here in the bottom of the sixth inning. Stepping up to the plate will be christian Moore. He get that call on the outside edge Moore down looking two strikeouts in the inning, both called third strikes for JP and another good one. It was ends the inning with three strikeouts in the sixth. The Angels to get their first run on a couple of hits and a walk. It’s a 5 to 1 game Astros with a 5 to 1 lead over the Angels bottom of the eighth. JP France. Third inning of relief, Mike Trout, Trout hits it a mile high to right, fairly deep, but it looks like Guzmán or Sanchez hasn’t measured. Sanchez makes the catch try to hold up and he goes too far. JP France with five strikeouts tonight in his three innings of work Astros lead 5 to 1 as we enter the night at 17 in a row, retired by Angels pitchers. Now there’s Christian Walker one for three with a home this ball to left. No longer shares the home run lead with Walker. Walker with his second home run of the night. His fourth home run in his last three games. He’s now up to 27 to 88 on the air center cut slider got smashed and the Astros lead is 6 to 1 and the veteran Craig Kimbrel comes into this game. It is down to the final out ball game over Kimbrel ends the night with a strikeout was a good night. It was good to see AJ ball work around some of the control issues. He had to keep the Astros into the game. And Then we saw some thunder christian walker with a two home run game. Zack Cole adding to his totals guys getting experience season is not going to end the way the Astros wanted it to but still some positives coming out of it in the last couple of days.

Playoff streak is over but will always support my Stros ❤❤❤❤ We will rise again someday 👍🏼
A decade of absolute brilliance came to an end today. Yes, this season has sucked, but I hope Astros fans can realize in this disappointment that this team gave us memories other franchises only dream of. On to 2026
Proud of the ASTROS. 2017 thru 2024 the best of the west.
Too many injuries in 25.
We won but at what cost 😢 2026 is are year
This was a season of injuries. That stopped us only. And Walker is a little better than abreu and shite
They were on top the division for awhile there not sure what hapen , even with all the injuries they were doing good
Venga Astros🧡💙🤍⚾️💫
Injuries got the best of us this year. I hope the ownership realizes this team is a good starting pitcher and outfielder away from competing again. Stay healthy next year and we're ay-OK.
Astros Time To Fire Joe Espada Release Diaz Walker Caratini Mccullers Okert Trade Altuve Dubon Valdez Javier Kimbrel Who Should The Astros Keep Correa Meyers Alverez Pena Cole
Injuries did not help. I'm optimistic about next year. For this postseason, I want Seattle to go all the way.
また来年から歴史を積み重ねていこう
