We need to build the best oline possible. Joe just like Luck is slightly injury prone but bring some punishment onto themselves bc they try to make a play no matter what. Both had/have bad Olines. If they had a good oline then they wouldn’t need to avoid the rush and play make as much, Joe could just sit back and dice the defense up. I really really hope we spend a 1st round pick on a LT and take another interior guy in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. We need premium talent on this oline. Mims and Fairchild are the only lineman we have that can both run and pass block at a good enough level. I would say pay the top interior guy next off-season but I don’t think they will, especially if we tag Trey
I’m not going to sit here and act like I know what is going on in Joe Burrow’s head but here’s a 30-minute video where I make wild assumptions about what is going on in Joe Burrow’s head because another QB (only one, crazily enough) had multiple injuries.
Andrew Luck didn’t die. He didn’t get paralyzed. One of Andrew Lucks injures occurred snowboarding, nobody mentions that ever. He could literally still be playing football now if he liked football and wanted to. Joe Burrow loves football. He wasn’t a golden boy 4 year starter in college and has quite literally had to work hard as shit for everything he’s accomplished to this point. I’m not going to doubt Joe Burrow like that.
