No longer will tweets from Chandler Rome and Brian McTaggart and “We have made the following roster moves” posts ruin my day

  1. The lack of runs and the injury plague was just awful.

Props to the pitching staff. They kept us in it at least.

I really think it’s for the best. Also, i cant believe how young i was the last time the Astros werent in the playoffs.

  3. This is the first October my wife and I get to spend together that isn’t dictated by Astros baseball. I’m kind of looking forward to it.

  4. Tbh, when we were winning games despite all the injuries I thought we were playing above our level, the regression should have been expected.

The return to glory when we get healthy will be historical. You gotta believe.

  5. It was agonizing watching our bullpen have to defend 1 or 2 runs for 6+ innings every night. Shout out to the 327 different pitchers the Astros ran out this year. You did everything you could.

The Texans season might be over tomorrow too, so I guess it’ll be a nice, stress-free autumn this year.

  6. I said this in the game day thread, but the season ending on a bases loaded situation could not have been more perfect… until next year!

  7. The golden era isn’t over, it’s just on the 60 Day IL. Get the medical staff, Clintron and Snitker executed. Firing Click after a WS win will also go down as one of the worst decisions

  8. It’s like having a falling out with a good friend. You’re just sitting there having to watch.

It does feel nice, slipping silently into that gentle night
