Congratulations to everybody in the room. Kind of a crazy ride, but it’s well worth it. Right. We We started in the spring, we went up, we went down, we went up again, right? We used 50 plus people that are some are in this room, some aren’t, right? It took 87 wins. Going to take 88 to win the division. Right? A team that stays together is what? Very dangerous. The best time to be dangerous is in October. [Applause]

  9. What do you mean you went up down and up again? You almost broke two MLB records though the win today stopped one from happening (The record for the largest lead above second place during the season but still don't make the playoffs). We still could take the other record though — 15.5 games ahead of second place but don't win the division. The current record is like 12-13 games … we need to win tomorrow and pray Cleveland loses tomorrow. If we lose and they win, we have that bad record …. it will go right next to the Lion's 0-16 season. Though I guess we could make this the bad record and first to also win the World Series … here's to hoping!!

  25. Dangerous? You can’t even get out of your own way. You threw a 15 game lead away. At what point did you decide you should try and fix the lineup, or change anything? Carpenter is not a #3 hitter, whiffs too much, and he doesn’t play against left handed pitchers. Torq whiffs too much, Green needs a rest, started to whiff. No discipline at the plate. Baez chases everything. Don’t get me started on Cora the 3rd base coach. The guy is a joke.
