Indianapolis Colts vs. Los Angeles Rams: Who Ya Got?!

Really big test for the Colts today as they are on the West Coast to take on the Los Angeles Rams. They look to remain undefeated and move to 4-0. Again, really tough Rams team that’s two and one right now. Their only losses to the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles. Offensively for the Colts, uh you got to wonder if any of this kind of settles down a little bit. You know, they’ve been doing great in the run game, in the pass game, no turnovers, not really giving up many sacks, but the Rams are tied for the NFL lead in sacks. Uh, I do think the Colts offensive tackles uh are built for a good matchup against this pass rush. You know, famous last words, knock on all the wood here. Uh, but I do like what the Colts could do on the perimeter as well as with a guy like Tyler Warren against the back seven of the Rams defense. We’ll keep an eye on that. Uh, defensively for the Colts, not going to lie, a little worried that the Rams might want to kind of do some ground and pound. uh you know, Kairen Williams, Blake Cororm kind of coming on. There hasn’t been a team to really test the Colts that way yet because the Colts have either been killing them or they’ve kind of found another way for success. Uh but if the Rams could do that against the Colts and really establish the run and then set up play action off of Matthew Stafford, uh that could be troublesome for the Colts obviously. Uh but otherwise, if the Colts hold up well and that’s not an issue, uh you know, they they’ve got to defend the middle of the field pretty well just like they did week one against the Dolphins. Matthew Stafford does very well in the intermediate to downfield stuff, especially those deep crossers. Now, he’s not been turning the ball over much, but if he, you know, lets loose an errant pass, you know, you get some pressure on him, kind of lifts a floater over the middle, you could see a guy like Cam Binham, Nick Cross come down with an interception. So, that’ll be big. The Colts capitalizing on anything that the the Rams offer them. So, we’ll be with you Locked on Colts and the squad show right after the game. Mike Hilton can tackle so if they do run and noone else can get off blocks or tackle we know Nick Cross and Mike Hilton can tackle I've seen Hilton drop Derek Henry in the backfield so I know he can do it. We need to just keep playing like we have been. And why as a news guy your not there is crazy.
