Pyyhtia most likely to be claimed
Nothing too surprising, though thought Pyyhtia might have a shot at staying on the roster. Smith seemed like a calm presence on defense, but if I had to pick him or Christiansen, I’d take a Christiansen
Thought Pinelli would get a bigger look. He’s great. Probably he and LDBB are undersized and need to develop their physical game more before they’re full time NHL players
Surprised LDBB was already sent down. Figured he would be given a longer leash to prove himself. He hasn’t looked bad from the games I’ve seen
Would’ve liked to have kept Smith around on a 2 way deal because I think he’d be great in Cleveland and boy if last year reminded me of anything, it’s that you can’t go wrong with a couple older guys in reserve just in case.
Otherwise nothing terribly surprising here.
