It’s been a problem for years. IIRC they tried replacing the turf with a different kind of turf that was supposed to be better and more realistic a couple years ago, but it’s actually even worse.
We can all agree Metlife sucks, both field and the stadium itself. Jets should buy the Palisades Center properly, demo that mall, and build Johnson & Johnson Arena, perfect spot
It’s time for a new stadium. Both teams need to be playing in NY

I’ve never held any animosity against Big Blue fans. I’ve always felt we’ve been chill with Giants fans compared to other crosstown rivals in this city.

My guys we have the same field as the lions and pats and several other teams. Have for a few years now
Honestly. All these owners are flexing their wallets to each other. The Maras and Woody need to just rip the bandaid and put their teams in the right spaces. I think its harder for the Giants right? They have to put the Giants somethere in Manhattan or the Bronx? Jets have an easier time in Queens, Long Island or Staten Island right?

Somebody needs to calculate the number of money spent on missed games and avoidable losses from injury versus money saved by using turf.
why spend millions on a field to help prevent your athletes who you pay 10s of millions from getting hurt. Fucking idiots i really dont want to hear that Mara is the cheap one, woody you are rich enough to spend the 5-6 million it would cost
ACL injuries occur in soccer that is exclusively played on grass.
There are mechanical issues in athletes that as much as you can make the muscles of the leg as strong and big as you want, you’re still stuck with a weedy little ACL.
i think at this stage the 2 teams need to stage a Coup via refusing to play on this fake crap and force this shitty stadium to use real grass

Do we not understand that they can’t have a grass field when two teams play in the same stadium. If I remember correctly a few years ago the giants played on Sunday night in a down pour and the jets played Monday night. How could that ever happen with natural grass? The only way they go to grass is if one team (the jets) opts out of the deal.
Whether or not the shit turf is responsible for that, it’s diabolical that these rich jabronis don’t improve what needs to obviously (per the ACTUAL PLAYERS) be improved

Turf doesnt create more injuries than grass. Literally no statistical evidence to support it. Denver stadium has the most injuries in the NFL and theyre grass
