1. Bad season. Bad ending. Bad times all around.

2. Well, bring on the Bloom era. Very much hoping for large changes up and down the roster. 

3. BTW, I happened to be in Pittsburgh at the end of June at the same time as the Cardinals. I was so excited to see them play at PNC Park.

   Then, not only did they lose three in a row, but they also never scored a single run in the entire series. That’s three consecutive shutouts to the last place team in their division.

   A fresh coat of paint will not fix this house. It needs major renovation.

4. This is how the season ends.

   Not with a bang but with a whimper.

5. Honestly, stopped following closely a few weeks ago but why did we go with a bullpen game?

8. I’m always a bit depressed when the season ends….but the past few seasons have left me a bit apathetic. This having been said, I’m looking forward to the future under new leadership. 

9. The 2025 St. Louis Cardinals: At Least We Didn’t Get No-Hit

10. First half of Mo’s tenure was fun, last half was miserable. Bring on the Bloom era!

11. Somehow there were 6 less valuable players than Walker by fWAR (including two Rockies) this season, but my eyes don’t want to believe it.

13. That was one of the gloomiest games I’ve ever seen.

14. The Mets collapse makes me wonder what the latest game in the season a team led the MLB in wins but failed to make the playoffs. Anyone happen to know that?

20. 3 Central teams are in and St Louis isn’t. That’s so hard to believe. Here’s to better days

21. Marlins win and we lose which I believe moves us up to the 8th draft pick pending the lottery so that’s good news.

22. I keep going back to when Pittsburgh swept us and Arizona swept us in July, and even losing 4 games to the goddamn Rockies. Blue Jays, Red Sox, Yankees, Mets, Mariners. Lots of sweeps

    Always struck me as weird, how fumbling a ball out the end zone is a turnover.

27. What a fitting way to end the Mo tenure. The fanbase is fully apathetic which is the worst place a sports franchise can be.
